After having finished WaT a few days ago I was discussing it with a friend who has only just started and he mentioned something that should have flagged for me. That purple cremling that Hoid grabs alongside Lift. What's it's deal? Lift says that their all over the tower's airshafts and Hoid implies that it's invested, at least more than a child, and enough to be visible despite Lift the blinding being of investiture being nearby. He then talks to it as if it can understand him. If it's a sleepless then why are the sleepless that guard Rysn surprised that Hoid is impersonating Dalinar? So is it one of the other sleepless factions? Maybe it's a corrupted spren inside of a gemheart? I don't really have a theory and maybe it is just a sleepless but it just seems weird to me.

I’ve been reading started reading cosmere books since 2017, and I just got caught up! In fairness I was caught up last week and then Brandon went and released another book and I had the good fortune to have free time to devour The Lost Metal like it was chouta! A friend of mine just got into Stormlight (after five years of prompting) and it revealed to me just how much I like talking about cosmere stuff. I won’t spoil it for him (he knows not to trust people who claim to be able to see the future) this means that there are certain things I want to be able to discuss but cannot. In essence I’ve come here to learn just exactly why all my theories are wrong.
