  1. They cannot. It is for radiants. I do not think that shardplate can cut like shardblades. Otherwise radiant plate would have a bunch of spikes on it so that you could just walk through the enemy. A single shard arrow could do a considerable amount of damage but it would have a slow reload time and gut or chest wounds might not be lethal.
  2. I believe that current Skybreaker goals make swearing the 5th ideal impossible.
  3. Felt had a political role as the manager of two of Elend's storage cavern cities. I imagine that he was a fairly well know figure post Catacendre.
  4. M-Bot uses cytonics for FTL conduction in his computational processes. At the time he has the key via hacking. He says he would actually have trouble cracking that particular code. Also with enough processing power many codes that seem unbreakable at first can be cracked easily. The nowhere is what Spensa calls it. What if you get stranded in the middle of nowhere in space or what if you use some kind of concussive force to spread them out enough via explosions? Vapor claims to have fought and killed humans during the wars. I do not know why they switched sides. He does. The drones the Krell use also have superluminal comunications that Spensa can sense but none of them have hyperdrives. Evidently the two technologies are not identical.
  5. The sense I am getting from the reviews is that it is an actual star wars movie as apposed to whatever nonsense they were trying to do with TLJ. Star Wars is not for everyone hence some people responded negatively.
  6. Yes but the complete information of the experienced moment is not on the coin. It would be like writing a note about a specific moment but then reliving that moment once you read the note.
  7. You could but you could only shoot one arrow at a time. Also even with broadheaded arrows you are still limited in the amount of damage you are doing.
  8. How exactly is he ruling his country while traveling across the other side of the world?
  9. How do we know that Jasnah even knows that transportation is the correct surge or that she began asking him at this point? I mostly agree with this but I am not 100% this is the entire secret of how it works otherwise willshapers should not have nearly as much of a problem with CR transitions.
  10. At what point in my order of events does Jasnah indicate that she knows Shallan is a lightweaver?
  11. He also claims that they have not had a king in many years and this is why they want a shardblade. His family is clearly important but if they had a king Sigzil would know.
  12. There was art to doing laundry. I think so.
  13. Yeah but I don't want people getting mad at me for writing this one off. Or this one. Brandon might not have been thinking about precise release dates.
  14. What do you all feel about author team ups? I am open to the idea but I don't want to see the quality of the work go down.
  15. Ding ding ding. The gentlemen gets a cigar!
  16. He claims to have been just a servant he was actually a guard but people in his family died moving him up the ranks to third then to first son. In most cultures the first son inherits. However Rock also mentions that they don't have a king yet(that is why his brother wanted a blade).
  17. What I am saying that at the time of speaking Jasnah does not believe it possible for a human to enter the CR at all. In fact at the time of saying this we have no indication that she has or knows how to use the surge of transportation. She seems considerably more powerful and practiced in Oathbringer then in WoR That line. Might actually indicate that when she first went through shadesmar she thought she got their via soulcasting and only latter learned that she. The order of events as I see them is this. 1. Jasnah believes humans cannot enter shadesmar 2. Jasnah enters shadesmar and assumes that she soulcast herself their 3. Jasnah learns about transportation and now assumes that was the method she used to enter shadesmar and that soulcasting actually can't do it. She may or may not be correct but WoB evidence indicates that it might be possible.

    Copper clouds

I believe we have a WoB that says that enough copperclouds could block soothing. IF that is the case then I have an idea. Soothing works by sending a "ripple" through the CR. This ripple interacts with your cognitive self(like a wave). What I think a coppercloud is doing is producing a bunch of ripples at your location, like static, that masks your location. I imagine spren wood flee such an area(it would be like a highstorm on the cognitive side).
  19. Good catch I have updated accordingly.
  20. He is a squire. He might be able to use it. Also he could gift it to someone else. I personally think that just showing up with it will grant him the title of King Overlooked Stone!
  21. It could also be that we have had a considerable wait in between books three and four.
  22. 2. This character often associates with a divinity. 3. This character has exceptional professional competence. 4. This character appears in only one of Brandon's books. 5. This character works in the service industry. Also this character is named.
  23. I interpret this quote to mean that at the time of saying this Jasnah does not believe it possible to fully transition cognitive side for anyone.
  24. Jasnah is wrong because she herself transfers only a little while latter.
