But it is not the radiant's perception that is determination. Both have some import. A radiant can not overwhelm your self image as you seem to think. Both people can impose a limitation but not perks.

But the way he presented them was unusual. He seemed detached. It is as if he new that this war was just one of many on many planets.

Very Unstable Magic Source. Help Needed.
Karger replied to TheCrazyKolas's topic in Creator's Corner
What level of industrialization does this world have? What is the political structure? How are your magic users regarded by different groups of people? -
It follows the same rules. All cosmere healing does.

So it is about how we should show empathy for people?

The industrial revolution most likely started in Britain because it has large coal deposits that were underwater and they needed to develop and good mechanism for pumping out that water. This pump was then refined until it could be used in other methods like trains and steamships. China did not industrialize until much latter. I proposed several solutions which you are not paying attention to. Such as just making water bridges out of the cement that falls from the sky or using shardblades and soulcasters. Enough. Think about how much labor it takes to build one by digging with a shovel. Correlation not causation. I already told you the major reasons Britain industrialized. Germany industrialized latter then Britain and this was largely do to railway work. No idea but that area has to many mountains for canals anyway. also took much longer to industrialize. Waterways were actually important to early American industrialization. However these were natural waterways and there were many other factors.

So Captain America's beard? -
Not really on Roshar. Only aimia is not part of the continent and it is completely barren to the best of our knowledge. Shipping is nice but it is not really necessary. Don't drill then build. Scoop the crem out of one area and move it to either side of that area. Problem solved Also shardblades and soulcasters. Cement comes with the flood. Stick them in place. Most rivers dry up in certain periods. The Nile is a reliable river and it goes through periods of drought just like every other river. You need a full dam to make most waterwheels work anyway.

I don't think it is Honor's power that makes the shards keep their promises. The way the stormfather explains it a shard is a force. Gravity can't stop pulling down on something for a moment just to get a better angle to pull two masses together.

Stormlight 4 2020 Release Date Confirmed
Karger replied to Isaiah Zayth's topic in Stormlight Archive
That scene if perfect. Maybe the Veristitalians will have a good scene and that is what he is referring to! I personally would love to see Jasnah Kholin queen of alethkar sneaking out of the palace with Shallan to visit a pastry shop owner who everyone knows as a women where we meet other equally diverse Veristitalians with equally awesome backstories! -
I do agree with you but I also miss the days when WoKs was just a cool fantasy book that I picked up at a library because the author sounded familiar.

Mostly his seizures. A decent argument. Perhaps on an even deeper level she is fighting the healing for some reason?

Stormlight 4 2020 Release Date Confirmed

I personally prefer Taln's pastry chef career but shippers got to ship too. -
Renarin did not see his eyesight as the flaw that kept him from being useful. That is her cognitive self not her spiritual.

Stormlight 4 2020 Release Date Confirmed
Karger replied to Isaiah Zayth's topic in Stormlight Archive
It kind of is my wish. I don't really get why it is not yours but to each their own. Agreed. The Heralds should be allowed to have hobbies. Also doesn't Jasnah have a pastry shop owning friend? Taln can get a part time job! -
Ahhh. I said the same thing once it is not really cut and dry what Bavadin is. Pretty sure Brandon has used both pronouns to describe her.
-
She accepts herself as flawed and useless. So yes she is has.
-
Yes. It is in the Historica. Honestly what kind of godless person are you?
-
Agreed. It is awesome to be seeing everything from the mentor's perspective for once.

Stormlight 4 2020 Release Date Confirmed
Karger replied to Isaiah Zayth's topic in Stormlight Archive
It could be. It could also be a big battle scene with all the radiants, a city awakening moment, Taln waking up and decided that he wants to open a pastry factory or Adolin and Kaladin's honeymoon. -
Adding to what @Pathfinder says Roshar has the advantages of no water droughts and regular temperatures. This means that you never have to worry about a riving going dry in or flooding. In fact if it is at the right place the water level should be fairly constant except during the highstorm itself. Proper placement of your waterwheel should mitigate this however on Roshar rivers go through stone so they will pretty much all be in canyons that allow protection from winds. The rush of water could be bad but a good dam should be able to stop it if placed properly. Also I just realized that dams act as decanters for heaver materials like crem so any dam would actually increase crem build up near the dam effectively strengthening itself.
