Yeah since you are not actually creating any just borrowing it then you will not be able to jump on a hovering platform any more then you can carry yourself. The planet's motion relative to what?

Then its V will still point upwards and your hovering platforms will be flying upwards at an increased rate. If you jump on it you will fall as you are really just borrowing that object's weight. Relative to what?

You could hover if you made some kind of hovercraft. Steering would be slow and pretty dangerous since your entire method fails if you flip over which will always be possible. Dalinar is totally going to try this at some point when learning that it is possible and will probably end up on his backside cursing to the Stormfather.

First of all I am going to congratulate you on some awesome choices. Now because I am me I have to start griping about physics. What happens to conservation of momentum in this case? Also what makes the external effects of your metals mystical in nature? Gravity is acceleration not velocity. But an object that is not falling has a velocity of 0 and if you increase it then in which direction?

It already did that to mine. I meant what is the functionality of it. IE does it (I am being a bit ridiculous here just as an example) blast out force like an iron man repulsor? To the best of my understanding you did not explain what it is supposed to do.

Found it under the spoiler. The tense of the explanation indicates pretty strongly that Lightsong's dreams are reacting to something happening in the now. He is not just reacting to stuff from earlier.

The Returned still are able to feel some SR stuff like Lightsong feeling Siri and Lightsong consummating their marriage. I think this is pretty explicit in the annotations.

Gavilar debated wearing a crown. Jezrien had famously refused to wear one. The implication in this story is that Jez is so confident in himself and his authority that he does not require physical indications of his power.

No that sounds much more probable since as a scadrain you will already have some latent investature or preservation.

In this case I think that is pretty standard iconography for Taln. Dalinar mentions similar drawings in the temple in Theylan city if I remember correctly. Could you find those for me? That seems likely. I suppose that they might be substancespren(like the half shard fabrials).
