  1. It really does not. We have no idea who set up the ideals or how they connect. Only Vorins. We have no idea how the Azish, Shin, or Iri see things. Kaladin's subordinates are not yet leaders. Children have resilient minds. He might need therapy but that does not mean that he is permanently damaged. He seemed recognize his father and his father managed to call him down. Raises eyebrows. She the world's foremost historian, a master politician, she successfully predicted the greatest threat to humanity in 2000 years and she is awesome. We don't actually know that about her. She is an excellent scholar but we don't actually know what she wants out of life. She seems equally happy shaping history as studying it.
  2. Divine attributes are what you want them to be. They a cultural not magical and based on hearsay. Personally I see them more as middle management then full on kings. That was a spren and Gavinor was a toddler. Also no he has not. Aesudan willingly sought out the power. Gavinor was just sort of swept up in it. That reasoning is circular. Jasnah could just remain queen. In fact she is pretty clearly the most qualified person in the world so I am going to say she should remain queen for the foreseeable future. Gavilar is a baby who was tormented by spren who delighted in petty cruelty. We have no evidence whatsoever of corruption taking place.
  3. So can Syl while in the PR so can Azure. Shai can only do plausible backstories.
  4. We have no idea if Harmony changed them back. Also good luck finding the metalminds. Also you would need to have a full feruchmist or a bunch of medallions for it to even potentially work.
  5. Conversion between investitures takes "effort." Unfortunately we have no idea of what this means. Also Welcome!
  6. I really do not think Kaladin is going to be king. That is both a major cliche and it does not really make any sense according to the political realities in current Roshar. Considering the shear number of people that would have to die but at the same time the political system of alethkar would have to stay intact I really don't see this happening.
  7. First. I hope that the Cosmere avoids ever doing such a problematic display as Miss America. Secondly Jasnah would almost certainly win.
  8. We see a dead one in Dalinar's visions. It looks like someone set one on fire. This implies that doing so is possible. To participate with full effectiveness in combat they will probably need to mass a large number of hordlings together. So maybe wait for that and then use magic to nuke the place(more or less)?
  9. Good? Kel did not break a promise?
  10. If division works by splitting molecular bonds then yeah it would work that way. Just split the DNA of an individual cell just so and you get self division. In practical terms the replication of cells is a difficult undertaking and more difficult to do correctly so no I do not think that is a good way to do this. That being said the correct use of division has many applications. You can make excellent sculptures and engravings. Also correctly breaking the right kinds of bonds allows for a lot of fun chemistry. You could get some nice synthesis going if you know what you are doing.
  11. That just means he is not one yet. Not that he can not become one in the future. Actually because of Kelseir's interference.
  12. Welcome! What is your favorite work? Which is your favorite Knight Radiant order?
  13. Most people seem to think so.
  14. To be fair. There will probably continue to be communities of rich idiots who do it from time to time. However as a practice that many people do I seriously doubt it.
  15. Greater mobility, next to impossible to grapple with, blunt force trauma less effective. A bunch of other ones as well.
  16. Yeah but edgedancers are the unkillable order thanks to abrasion.
  17. It is a shame he does not take all the parking tickets in my neighborhood.
  18. We have no idea how the second one works so it is not like we can give you a real answer on that.
  19. At the moment of ascention he did not know about them yet. Afterward he could only do so much to help them. Remember that the simplest of actions prove difficult for him. High five! Agreed.
  20. I am obviously used to looking at a different map. However I am not sure how many of those islands are inhibited. Remember we are looking at stone age people. Any Islanders will probably be self sufficient(like the ancient hawaiians) Many Rosharn cities are not built from flammable materials.
  21. You would need an extremely precise hit for that to work.
  22. I agree with all of them. Here are a few that I think you might have missed(my personal favorites). Steris's reading material. Streis trying to help Wax. Steris making lists of all the things they need. Wayne throwing nuts at that old Kandra Steris's handbag which now contains earplugs and extra steal in cod liver oil The scene with Wax and Steris where she takes out the gun tied to her leg. Wayne being offended by Marasi cheating by showing credentials. As you can tell I am a huge Steris fan.
