  1. “Why do you…” Jenny trailed off as she noticed a dog toy waddling over. Her attention was immediately diverted away from their conversation and moved to it. She crouched down and inspected it, fascinated.
  2. @Anguished_One @Scars of Hathsin
  3. Lucid really needed to work on his instincts. Nothing about this was supposed to feel “right”. “Do you have any specific reasons why we should trust this girl?” Jenny once again noticed how high up they were. By this point she’d started to get desensitized to it, but it still put her even more on edge.
  4. “She was carrying a knife and was right in the middle of the scene of a very obvious fight, that is incredibly suspicious!” Jenny pointed at the large crack in the window covered with plants and the blood stains on the floor. ”Even if she had a knife for normal reasons, tourists aren’t supposed to carry around bows with them.” Jenny took a deep breath, then sighed. ”I’m sorry for getting mad, it’s just that I know how awful things get when mortals get involved with godly stuff. Imagine if you’d told her that we’d fought a chimera or that I’d been possessed. She’d probably think we were criminally insane.”
  5. Jenny ran a hand across her face, now extremely stressed. This was going to, at the very least, massively worsen their situation with the mortals. ”Did you explain why you had a bow? That’s an incredibly suspicious object to have on your person when you’re currently the suspect in a manhunt.”
  6. “Why does she know about us? That’s very, very bad! Did you tell her any details?” Jenny knew what happened when mortals knew what you were. It was never good. She failed to fully hide her anxiety about this, having started to gesticulate a bit wildly.
  7. I used to play, I think it was for eightish years. Do you know the muffin man?
  8. Jenny led Lucid a little ways away from the girl. She spoke in a whisper, trying to hide her nervousness from the stranger in the event that she woke up. ”Why are you talking to a mortal? She shouldn’t be here! It’s dangerous for both us and her.”
  9. I wanna talk about cheese! What do you want to be played as you walk down the aisle at your wedding?
  10. Jenny very carefully wrapped an arm around Ed and was about to rest her head on his when she noticed that Lucid was sitting next to a random mortal girl. They were not supposed to be interacting with strangers like that. Had he given her his jacket as a pillow? He really should’ve asked her to go downstairs, instead. What if she overheard something about their fight? She could easily report them to the police. ”Just a sec, Ed.” Jenny got up and tried her best to nonchalantly stroll over to Lucid and the girl. ”Hey, Lucid? Can I talk to you for a moment?” @Wierdo @Anguished_One
  11. Jenny nodded. She wanted to tell Jace “it’s ok,” but that would be a lie. He admittedly had waited too long to heal Ed. He was sitting up. That was an incredibly good sign. Jenny grinned back at him.
  12. Somehow, Jace being so nice made Jenny feel worse. This lack of a reaction made her frustrated, which in turn made her feel even worse. At least she didn’t seem to be getting angry again. ”Sorry, again.” Without Jace, Ed would probably be dead. She didn’t want to let go of Ed’s hand, so she decided to abandon her attempt at a bun, letting her long black hair tumble down loose. @Weaver of Lies
  13. Indubitably, indubitably is indubitably wonderful.
  14. Yup, through calc 3. TPBM hates geometry.
  15. I like to bake, but when I try to cook I fear I may burn my house down. What’s your favorite type of icing?
  16. Indubitably, the author of this fine post is the current reigning champion of this thread.
  17. Why was he thanking her? She’d been awful to poor Jace. Jace was the one who’d agreed to heal Ed after being rudely fussed at, not her. Not making eye contact with anyone, she quite unsuccessfully attempted to onehandedly put her hair up into a bun. @RoyalBeeMage
  18. My phonecase functions as my wallet and is blue, if that counts. TPBM knows a programming language.
  19. Why do I only get the motivation to do homework at midnight? Also, on a completely related note, I’d just like to say that git is the worst. They really need to add a “just do everything needed to push your changes” command. Whoever designed it was sadistic. The chances of people understanding my rant are higher here than among my friends who aren’t in computer science. I keep rattling on about things and having no one understand what the heck I’m talking about So technological frustration win!
