I've been reviewing a lot of old notes from stuff that I've worked on in the past, and I could make a Role Play Thread based off of one or two of them.

Is there an interest in new role plays, or are y'all good with what you have?

Okay, well... It's 1:30 here and I've finally woken up.

Woken up enough to tell you about the absolute weirdest thing that's happened to me all year!

(Hehe)

So... last night. I'm getting ready for bed, piling on blankets, trying to draw Elya from Zvso (it turned out terribly and will never see the light of day), and my dad comes in to let me know that it's gonna be really cold that night. He makes sure I have plenty of blankets and everything before going.

I fell asleep at a reasonable hour (probably), and... had a dream about space? I don't know if this was before or after the weird thing. I think it was after (I'll get to it later).

At about 1:00 in the morning I wake up. I could've sworn I had heard some guy asking me for my bed. Probably just some weird dream carryover, right?

Yep! Exactly!

But my brain was having none of that.

Somehow--in, like, under a couple seconds--came to the conclusion that this strange noise had a whole backstory and everything. Apparently (according to my sleep-deprived brain), my dad had randomly welcomed in some homeless guy to our house and told him (and the kids) that he was allowed to take any of our beds at any point tonight. So, of course, this alleged homeless guy had come to claim mine, and I got out for him like a nice person.

So I took a single blanket and lay down on the floor for the night, freezing and exhausted from being woken up at such an hour.

It wasn't until about five minutes later that I realized that there probably wasn't actually a homeless guy in my bed.

There ya go. Weirdest thing to ever happen to me. Ask me later if you wanna hear the dream (I went to space! On accident!)

*AHEM*

Anyways.

Hi there! Hello! It's me, I'm the Adstronaut that one guy! I'm out here in statusland to summon some folks.

See, awhile back (and I mean a while back) I started a roleplay called Fellowship of the Thing. It was a pretty simple idea: all the universes are connected, so people can play characters from their own stories or anyone else's in a big adventuring group. It was originally called "I'm bored; let's mess around," and frankly that's all we really did.

It evolved. That's what things do. Now it's kind of a multiversal battleground of crazy magic and awesome characters. Frankly, it's awesome.

But all our writers are GONE.

A whole slew of characters have simply vanished into the abyss. Vapor, Jek, Nathrangking, Fox, all of Xino's J-names... and everyone who joined in after the OGs left are gone now too. The thread has died down, and all the side plots are vanishing under the massive piles of failed RPs.

Maybe that's for the best: allow the behemoth to fade away so that something new can blossom out. The likes of Arcalla, Zvso, Spaaaaaaaaaaace, and the others can have their moment in the spotlight. Perhaps it's a good thing that Fellowship of the Thing has fallen?

...

Nah.

So that's why I made this SU! I need some folks to help revive my child. There are all sorts of people running amuck in the RP subforum nowadays, and I'm going to drop their names in this spoiler box below so I can properly guilt-trip them into joining Fellowship of the Thing!

Looks like it's almost time to necro some seasonal threads and crack out the ugly sweaters because we've got some shenanigans to do!

So after watching Dune and a couple Star Wars films, I've gotten into the vibe of hard-science space operas, and I think I might try to write one.

Would anyone be interested in updates? Joining in? Or maybe I could just make an RP to sate my weirdly specific creative urge. What do y'all think?

FRUSTRATION

Nothing is coming out correctly. No thought can pull together. Nothing can be done at all.

WHY is this SO HARD? 

I have an everything block... somehow I can't pull together the motivation to do anything but mindlessly surf Youtube. Not that I would be able to do much on my weak computer at school, but I could at least write!

But writing doesn't really feel... fulfilling. I'm struggling even getting this much out.

Would people be interested in a role-play that takes place in the world of Keyed, @xinoehp512 and I’s duology?
