  1. @Voidus, here's Galvris for this era, even though it looks like the era will end soon: I realize this is extremely OP (even for era two [or one]) but he'll be interesting to mess around with.
  2. Stormbreaker needed someplace safe. Someplace where they could all plan. He was about to despair, when the one and only Diagramist satellite sent a ping to his phone. He wryly checked it, remembering how much funds they burnt through to launch that thing. And some more traditional council members had argued against it. In a few minutes they were on their way. He looked at the address. Identified with the name Tena. Tena... Tena... he searched his memory. Ah, he'd been to their wedding. Anthony was an exceptional fighter, maybe he'd be their too. He finally arrived and knocked on the door, his men behind him. @Sherlock Holmes @Ark1002 @whoever else is there
  3. Stormbreaker sighed. There weren't any weaknesses that he himself had discovered. But maybe once he'd talked to his Watcher team. He rounded a bend and the sight of a burning Viper Drop-ship greeted him. He looked towards the side of the street, and found his team climbing to the rooftops. He took the stairs. He emerged onto the rooftop, and what was left of them was sitting around Forel. Stormbreaker marched towards him, and the man saluted stiffly. "Soldier, report," he barked. Forel wearily relayed all that had happened, and gave I'm a casualty report as well. He sent back to Lusk: My team wasn't on the roof long enough to collect enough data. However, I can give you the numbers and approximate positions of the rooftop defenses. He took Hasharan, Edalb, and Forel aside to speak with them. They would need the entirety of the Silent Gatherers, plus his small militia. @I think I am here.
  4. What is that? A curling Iron? The other one looks great though.
  5. Stormbreaker called Lusk again, with the same message. I'm down here on the streets, and it looks bad. It's definitely Plasmacore, several of my men died trying to infiltrate it. We need a large inter-guild army, to coordinate and strike. I'm contacting the government right now, teleport me up so we can plan. He put it down and contacted Keleth. Perhaps the government could send in the precursors. @I think I am here.
  6. As they were being ushered out by policemen, Keleth looked back and saw a monstrous figure looming over the mob. He wore Aon-inhanced steel armor, with glass slits for his eyes. He easily took out several snipers in the high reaches of the room. Then Keleth was gone, rushed onto the evacuation ship and into the sky. With no chancellor, the guild representatives were the closest thing to a leader that the Alleyverse had. Keleth paced up and down within the cabin of the ship. "The situation isn't good," he said, "But we can fix it if we act decisively. "First, we need to determine this: Is the government body technically a great guild? Because if so, we have the power to send the Alleymilitary into the city."
  7. "Clearly the motion passes," Keleth said. "The Precursors have a leader, so we should put them into action. Something must be done about the presence of Plasmacore. This is our city, it is the duty of the government to protect it, not the various guilds. As a body, the government should count as a Great Guild. Therefore, we have authorization to send in an army. The Precursors should clear the civilians off of the streets, then begin to attack Plasmacore itself. It would also help if this body ordered Great Guilds to send their forces in as well. This must be coordinated, we don't want another situation like the Seven-Day War." @all reps.
  8. Stormbreaker met up with his Watcher strike team. They were in bad shape. A few injuries, plus the stress of dead comrades. They were trained for something like this though, they would pull through. Stormbreaker pulled out his phone, and made did the thumb signals over the sensor. It went through to Lusk's phone, roughly translated into: I'm down here on the streets, and it looks bad.
  9. you really have no idea what I'm saying here, but AYE just the same.
  10. Terald, Forel's second, cried out in alarm as the roof lit up with defenses. He was the first to fall. Hails of bullets raked down him and two Silent Shadows just before Forel got the Aonic shield up. He pulled out the diagram-phone and quickly signaled Stormbreaker (he'd had his personal number for this mission) that the operation was going sideways. And indeed it was. The Aonic shield was already starting to crack, and the Viper drop-ship was taking too much fire to pull them out. Storms, Forel thought, I've led my team into a death-trap. The roof was quite flat, with no cover whatsoever. The only thing they could do was make cover. Forel motioned for a surviving member, Hiyon, to take Aon Daa. Hiyon used the Aon to throw a streamlined blast of investiture at a turret, providing an opening for the team. They ran for it, dashing past the melted turret and over the side of the roof. One of the Silent Lurkers was taken down by an errant ball of plasma as he jumped, his melted carcass falling many stories down. The rest of them were rescued by the badly damaged viper, which limped about 20 blocks to the north, then crashed in fiery wreckage. @Ark1002 ——— Stormbreaker listened to the transmission in disbelief. One of his best Watcher teams had failed. Not only failed, but half of their members were killed. They were stranded in the streets, their Viper drop-ship shot down. The Diagram had anticipated this, but had failed to warn them of the power that Plasmacore had. He'd need the rest of his guild, plus government backing if he would do this. The most important thing was to contact Great Guilds that had resources and money to help them. The Ghostbloods were allied with him, and most certainly out here somewhere. He needed a much more solid plan.
  11. Stormbreaker and his men stormed up an avenue towards the source of the fog. He looked around himself. I he had to choose a team, this would be it. Edalb and Hasharan were incredibly skilled, with a dozen of Hasharan's personally trained elites at their backs. They would need some silent gatherers to infiltrate. He keyed a number on his diagram-phone (unhackable. He's got some really twisted dreams to think up those things) and called a Silent Watcher team in. He relayed orders while running, using the secret diagram-script of hand motions in front of the phone. This would give the Watcher team his orders. Each Silent Gatherer was highly trained by their Lurker masters in all forms of combat. He'd send one of the best Watcher teams, commanded by Silent Gatherer Forel. He and his men stormed around a corner, shoving civilians out of the way in order to get to the crisis. As they passed, Hasharan yelled at them to get inside and take cover. ——— Forel leaned back against the wall, enjoying his off time in Fortress Eternal. Then his diagram-phone buzzed. "Aww storms, I've always wanted one of those," Terald, one of his men, said. Forel gave him a dark look and said, "You'll have to wait a little while longer. We've got a mission. In the Alleycity itself." "Really? This may be it, maybe I'll finally rank up to Silent Watcher." "Don't hold your breath," Forel muttered, "There's no opening yet. There can only be 1,000 of us." The piled into the Diagram-Viper, and hurtled toward's Alleycity at breakneck speed. In the cabin of the ship, Forel briefed his men on the mission. ——— It was a dark night, and the slowly spreading black fog obscured everything. The Viper's computer, (Extremely advanced, per the diagram's instructions) was easily able to locate the epicenter. Forel and his men readied for the jump, Aon's prepared. The filed out of the drop-ship one by one, Forel activating Aon Nae as they dropped. With it, he was able to locate the exact spot. Then each activated a modified Aon Edo that shielded them from sight as well as from harm. They landed on the roof unharmed and undetected... @Ark1002
  12. Jorel grinned sheepishly–though they couldn't see it–and walked off to his ship for sleep.
  13. Jorel looked impatiently at Yera. "Are we going to get briefed on this or not?" He asked. "I'm a man of action. Give me something to do, don't build the suspense." @Dr. Dapper
  14. A twisting swirling portal of colors opened. It stood there for a moment, consuming everything, before collapsing in on itself. Once the final colorful swirl had disappeared, a large group of men stood in it's place. And yetis. The leader of the men, a large man who carried himself with confidence, began to yell orders to the rest. They wasted no time in slaughtering the yetis. Though the battle was a bit one-sided, the yetis put up a valiant fight. Many of men were killed. Stormbreaker panted after the skirmish. The dark streets were empty, and stained with the blood of the snow-beasts. And blood of his men, he noticed. He turned to his third-in-command. "Hasharan, how many did we lose?" Hasharan saluted and said, "Sir, we lost 15 men in this skirmish. There are only 12 of us left, including us three. Most of my elites survived." Stormbreaker nodded. He looked up for the first time, and noticed the sky. "What in my name is that?" He said. "Who knows," his second, Edalb said. "The Plasmacore people have been meddling with things they shouldn't have for quite a while." Stormbreaker rubbed his head. "I need another drink," he said.
  15. Algorath looked at Mutig warily. If he'd killed people, and had been seen doing it, then rumors would start to circulate. People would put two and two together and get seven. It might start to affect Mutig, turning him into a ravenous beast. He'd have to watch him.
  16. The door flew open with a crash. A dark figure stood there. In a surprisingly weak voice it said, "Halt." It stepped into the room, and it revealed itself to be Algorath. He didn't look good. He was reverting back to hybrid thing he had been before, and his face was obviously tear-streaked. But there was steel in his eyes. He shouted and leaped forwards, morphing into a complete wolf as he left the ground. He hit the man, clawing and biting. He shifted back to full human, and brought a blade down on the man's neck @Chasmfiend#1 @Sorana @Turtle373
