  1. Not rly. I would have been very depressed. Especially since this kind of thing is such a hit on other forums. So, I win then..
  2. MOD NOTE: Posts that have only one or two words aren't generally okay, or posts that repeat what you've said before exactly, posts with only emojis, posts that contribute nothing to the conversation at hand, *wins*/I win spam, and posts that exist solely to try to win, such as someone saying "I like this" and someone else going "me too". Ok 17th sharders, here's a little something that we'll all probably regret. This is a forum game, and like forum games, it'll probably never end. The rules of this particular game are simple; post and continue posting until everyone but you stops posting. In other words, post until you get tired and ask a mod to lock so you win (not really please don't). There are also some restrictions lest we get this locked. Don't post spammish or offensive things on here, and please by courteous to ones fellow man. On that note, start posting lads!!!
  3. Maybe space will become so explored that worldhopping will only be plausible for people who have access to quick travel methods (like teleportation).
  4. I don't know, I have feeling that silver will have more significance than it already does.
  5. Wait, alethi aren't Caucasian!?!?! Dang, I really need to pay more attention to character description. Also, Kelsier has always been brown-headed. I agree with the inquisitors being 9 feet tall thing.
  6. Ha, lol. Yes, I made a theory not too long ago about silver. It definitely has some significance. Have you read shadows for silence in the forests of hell? It takes place on threnody, and is one of the short stories in arcanum unbounded. When silver touches a shade, It turns black, and maybe the 'power in it' goes back to mines to be rediscovered. I'm thinking it definitely has significance.
  7. This is the best thing ever. @Paranoid King, great rap. Now I've just got to remember who tillaume is...
  8. Thanks for your feedback, I suppose spren can affect the physical realm, but not under normal conditions. True it might not be a godmetal, but it definitely possesses power. Again, thanks for you feedback!
  9. Hello all. You all know silver, the most useless metal. I mean, it's not even mention in most books. Except for that one little tiny, insignificant world called threnody. Threnody, however, is very unique. It's the only world with hostile cognitive shadows that can really effect the physical world. Other than roshar, of course, but whatever. Shades on threnody can only be killed with one thing... silver. So that got me thinking, what if silver possesses it's own investiture that can be used by anybody with the right knowledge? I can just hear you screaming out 'but silver doesnt affect spren on roshar!' But think about it, spren can't actually affect the physical realm, can they. Anywho, that chain of thought got me thinking something else: where did silver come from, if it's so powerful. I was thinking that it might be the body of a shard. Maybe even the body of the old threnody shard, if there was such a shard, because, It's supposedly "used up" whenever it touches a shade. This is my first theory, and it's not very good, but I hope it gets you all thinking. I appreciate any and all feedback––even negative––as long as it's posted constructively. Thanks for your time!
  10. It'd also be nice to have a shard fork. Baring rosharan magic, allowmancy is one of the most powerful forms of magic there are. Not only that, but it also requires finesse. It would also be extremely useful in modern society.
  11. What about creepy old guy in ally in edgedancer? The one made of cremlings? Granted, he killed humans, and he's made of cremlings, but what if a kandra can make his bones be cremlings instead? That aside, have we investigated vivena in storm light? In shadesmar, her hair turns white, then back to black, but what if, instead of it being normal royal hair, it was actually a kandra trick? After all, no one knows how she really got to Roshar.
  12. Wow, lets just say that someone who has never read the books had better not look at this thread. So. Many. Spoilers. Anyway, the moment that hit me the hardest was [spoiler/]kelsiers death[spoiler/]. Like it really hit me hard. I almost started crying. Edit: Darn, how do you do spoilers?
  13. Hi, Ive read most of Sandersons works, but I know there are some out there that I haven't. Ive read most of the cosmere, reckoners, rithmatist, Alcatraz, and a few others. Yes, I am definitely the second type. Hello! I'd say I've liked Kaladin pretty well. Judging from my name, which I use for everything, not just this. Wbu?
  14. Hello everyone! I like, literally just saw these forums and I already have an account. I suppose I should introduce myself huh. My name is *****. So that's good. I also really, really, really like the mistborn series. I suppose I joined these forums to talk about that, so here I am talking about it. I read those books first, then started reading all Sanderson stuff. There you go. Bye all!
