  1. The man recovered, then turned to the Koloss with a shocked expression. "You have a D1000? I never thought I would live to see one! What do you want for it? That die is all I need to complete my collection!"
  2. Uh, am I the only one really confused by Fura there? I get the last part, about there being 3 or 4 Thugs. But, he's literally just saying numbers. Am I reading that right @Furamirionind
  3. "Oh hush, you! Everyone knows that the only company to produce D1000's went bankrupt before their test run got completed. I tried to acquire some, but the owners confiscated all the ones on the market." The man slumped down in his seat, looking upset.
  4. Thundershriek pulled his electric axe out of the gut of one of the monks. The man's brain had been fried by the electricity, even if the blade hadn't done all that much damage to his bones. Thundershriek flew upward quickly, and surveyed the field. The fool had decided to charge their leader unarmed. The Radiant was taking them out from afar. The Feruchemist was holding his own, and it seemed the Elantrian was being overwhelmed. Might as well help him out. Thundershriek sent a blast into one of the monks that had been about to stab Aeodin from behind, then flew down to another that was running up to him, and aimed an electric-charged swing into the man's neck.
  5. "Sure! Dice games are always fun. What were you thinking?" the man asked as he pulled out a large bag and spilled it's contents onto the table. "I've got anything from D3's to D100's. People usually decide to play with D6's for some reason." As he said this he pulled a six-sided die from amongst them, and stared at it. As if trying to learn it's secrets.
  6. "Do something! Defend yourself, attack them, anything that comes to mind!" Thundershriek yelled out at the man, who continued to ask stupid questions. Seeing his first target fry, as expected, he then blasted the motorcycles they had ridden in on. Hopefully some of them were still close enough to get caught in the blast, and if not, it should at least irritate them. Thundershriek smiled as the bikes exploded, then looked at what he was holding in his hand. What need do I have of a staff? Oh yes, the Forger decided to get fancy. Let's change things up then. Pulling one of the stamps out the pocket on the jacket he was wearing, Thundershriek pressed it into the bottom. He didn't know, or care, what each stamp did, as long as it was better than this. Suddenly the staff changed to a greataxe, and he smiled. He flew down closer to some of the thugs, and channeling electricity into the axe, swung it into the man's gut.
  7. "Well, that was certainly interesting. Glad those two got out of here so we can all focus on something other than trying to force two strangers to get together." said a man who had gone unnoticed up to this point. "This is supposed to be a party, right? Who's up for a game? Anyone? I've got some great board games in my bag here if anyone is interested. Otherwise we could go with something less structured, if anyone has any suggestions?" The man stood up from his chair, and refilled his drink at the bunch bar before returning to his seat.
  8. Thundershriek continued to stare the group of men down. Suddenly a man was there, asking stupid questions. "What do you think is going on, you dolt? These men decided it would be a good idea to step into my domain, and threaten me. I wouldn't recommend you follow suit." Feeling the flow of power continue to rage through him, Thundershriek began hovering a little higher above the ground, electricity running over his clenched fists. The group of men began charging forward, howling. Thundershriek let out a laugh. "I see you don't value your lives. An opinion I share." After saying this he flew upward, and let out a blast of pent-up electric energy at one of the bonefist thugs.
  9. Laonin pressed the stamp to his skin, near the base of his skull. He knew what was about to happen, but still wasn't prepared for it. Suddenly his mind shifted, and he was no longer Laonin. Thundershriek stood tall, angry. It had been too long since he had been in control, and too long since he had felt power course through his blood. He looked at the people around him. None of them were the people who had bound him behind the mind of that weak fool, Laonin, so he decided not to eradicate them yet. He saw a group of men in front of him, they appeared to have a murderous glint in their eyes. A look that was mirrored in his own. "I would recommend you leave now. I don't take kindly to people who try to kill me. And I can assure you, you won't find me a pushover like the Forger." As he said this, electricity began to radiate from Thundershriek's eyes, and he began to inch up off the ground.
  10. Turning to look at the leader, Laonin spoke up. "The people who lived here. Did you take them? If so, we intend to take them back." After saying this, Laonin looked at those around him, and readied the stamp in his grasp.
  11. The drunken Koloss smiled, reaching up. He grabbed the man by his legs, attempting to crush them in his fist.
  12. Laonin was waiting. Apprehension was creeping it's way into his mind. The longer it took for them to show up, the longer he had to doubt himself. Were they taking on too much, too soon? Would his mission end after only having gotten off the ground? Hearing Aeodin speak broke Laonin out of his reverie. "Forging can do much. The only limitations are your creativity and your knowledge. I simply fixed the building by saying the monstrosity that knocked it over during the 7 Day War missed it instead. As for the lights, I just changed its history a bit so an eccentric millionaire had moved in, and was extremely afraid of the dark, so he had all these installed." Fingering the stamp in his pocket, a grave look came over Laonin's face. "Speaking of other things Forgery can accomplish, I'm going to need your help. I'm going to stamp myself before the fight, to become someone I haven't been in a very long time. It's necessary if I intend to help at all here. I just worry, that after the fight, I won't give the power up again. Can you swear to me that you'll remove the stamp once I no longer need it? I beg you. I worry what I might do if you all don't stop me." @The Grumpy ElantrianElantrian @King TaravangianTaravangian @ShardBreaker @Steel Inquisitive Suddenly a man approached them, and began asking how he could help. "Well, hello. The people who took her should be showing up here soon. Are you here to help?" @Rashek of Bridge Four
  13. Well. Sorry I haven't been very active. Been busy with stuff. Really tired right now, so no real analysis, just some thoughts. Yay for Seekers. But like people have said detections only help us for a turn. Thanks for what I assume to be a poke vote to remind me to say something. I don't know if we should lynch someone just for claiming a role, unless someone had claimed Coinshot or something, since we know one hasn't been active. At least not enough to kill anyone. Other people are more experienced here than me though, so I'll defer to your knowledge on that. I keep meaning to dedicate time to reread everything so I can give some input, but I still haven't. Hopefully tomorrow something with more substance will happen.
  14. I believe so. From what I recall, people thought that the Great Guilds should not have a choice, or vote, in which normal guilds get to represent, in order to prevent any Great Guild from having a monopoly on the government. The intention was that each normal guild have 1 vote to place on which normal guilds they want to have a seat, and thus have a representative.
