  1. Josh started the truck up, and deciding to ignore the damage for the time being, began driving toward the Harbor.
  2. Josh looked over at Cookie and Rick. "Sorry, just daydreaming a bit. Sure, we can head to the docks. Just let me take care of the bill really quickly." Saying this, Josh finished his food and went to pay the bartender. "Thanks for the service. I think the sandwich did the trick."
  3. Laonin stood up and rested his arm on the shovel. This was tough work, as expected. But it felt good. Working the body helped to clear the mind, and that was something he needed right now. Deciding the hole was large enough, he walked over to one of the corpses that hadn't been taken care of yet, and searched the pockets. He pulled out some cigarettes and a book of matches. It had the logo for a local shop on it. "Hey, any of you know where this place is? It says it's the best place to shop in the Alleycity. Maybe they'll know where these guys came from." As he said this he held the matches up and showed them to everyone.
  4. Ok, so some thoughts. I reread the last couple cycles, though it was mostly skimming. The Itiah lynch. People seemed to pretty much clear Gancho, Fura, and CadCom. Obviously their votes are primarily indicitative of them being village. However, as pointed out, in the MR that just wrapped up CadCom had an extremely effective bus on his teammate. I'm not saying the same thing happened here, but just make sure we aren't hard clearing Gancho and CadCom without still keeping an eye on their activity. It culd be too easy for an elim to sneak by that way. Fura also said he didn't think more than one of himself, Gancho, and CadCom could be elims. Which makes sense to me. He also commented that given the interactions between CadCom and Mailliw one of them is also almost guaranteed to be village. So CadCom's alignment could be helpful in determining a couple of other people's as well. I don't really think it's likely CadCom would pull the same gambit twice in a row though, so the chances aren't enough to convince me to vote on him as of now. The Snipexe situation is definitely off as well, and is probably something more concrete to go on. I'm honestly hesitant to make any strong accusations just because every time I had any suspicions last game they we're all wrong. Those are my current thoughts, though I won't vote til tomorrow.
  5. I'm pretty sure he was confirmed a Smoker, not a Seeker. The only advantage to Mailliw dying I can think of would be if the elims had converted a vote manip. So maybe that means they haven't?
  6. What does an inactivity filter entail? Is it for kicking out people who don't participate?
  7. Josh stood up, "Well, looks like we'll need to order at the bar then Cookie. You said you wanted a sandwich right? I've got it covered. I know you had plenty to drink at the party, so how about something non-alcoholic?" Saying that, he went up to the Bartender and ordered. "Give me a sandwich for my friend there, preferably the biggest thing you've got. Maybe some Scadrian cider to go with it. Might as well bring the pitcher out. And I'll have something, Sellish. Whatever that would be. And a nice Rosharan ale."
  8. The Forge has definitely gotten a few more people in it lately, but it's still open if people want to jump in. I would recommend reading at least a bit, if not all of it, so you kind of have an idea of what's going on. Otherwise the Summary post by Sorana is a good way to get an idea of what's going on without needing to dedicate the time to read pages of content. My only recommendation is if you intend to join the Forge, be willing to help out. Or go with the intention of opposition too I suppose. We did just get through a massive battle though so I'm not sure if now would be the best time to attack, just because it wouldn't be a very satisfying fight.
  9. Greetings! I'll give you a formal greeting from TUBA. We are more than a guild dedicated to baking Hemalurgy free cookies. TUBA is a wonderful group of people, who over time have become a close-knit group of friends, and in some cases a family. I can guarantee they are a welcoming bunch, having joined a couple months ago. There is a lot of joking around, and also important irl discussions. As a guild we haven't been very active in the Alleyverse, but hopefully with the upcoming government implementations coming up our activity should rise. Whatever guild you choose, if any, know that you are welcome. As said, there are a few a nice plot lines currently, and some are going to be more open to newcomers than others, just because of the pace of action in those threads.
  10. Seeing Cookie defuse the situation so quickly, almost before he had known anything was happening surprised Josh. He clapped the Koloss on the back, "Well done Cookie. Hopefully he was the transgressor in the situation. Though, he appeared to be the waiter, so I'm not sure how we'll have our order taken now. Waiter! Anyone there?" As he said this he sat down at a table, one with adequate space for his companion, and nodded to the couple.
  11. So a few thoughts reading through docs. Yes @MetaTerminal I was the dark red font inexperienced with google docs in the Circle, so no need to eat your hat. Pleasantly surprised the elims thought I was too dangerous to keep alive, but happy they didn't kill me so quick cause I did have a lot of fun. As said in the spec doc, given the hidden 11 max damage rule, if the village had been a lot more active with defends we could have held out for a really long time against the Blight, at least until a few kills had started piling up.
  12. Good game everyone. Thank you Fifth and Elandera for all your hard work in running this game, and I totally understand that it took a little bit longer due to the holidays. Thanks everyone for asking it a great first game for me. Looking forward to reading the docs and getting some insights into things.
  13. Josh pulled his truck into the parking lot at DIDGERIDOO, and parked. He had gotten hungry on their way to the pier, and had decided to stop for food. He hoped Cookie would be alright with the quick stop. "Hey Cookie, you hungry? That party didn't have much in the way of food to my tastes, so I figured I'd stop here for a bite to eat. I'm buying." Saying this, he closed the door to the truck and gestured to the Koloss in the back of his truck, heading for the door to the restaurant. @Ark1002
  14. Alv died in the writeup. Understandable considering you said your brain is overworked.
  15. "I understand that you have a personal history with these Dakhor. And I agree they have done awful things, killed people, probably tortured others. We don't even know the half of it. But I've done no better. Thundershriek is not a good man, Aeodin. If he hadn't fallen unconscious, what's to say you wouldn't have had to fight him next? He's destroyed towns, and villages, and innocent people just as much as they did. Does that make me not human? I am a different mind, but this body has still committed atrocities aplenty." Laonin paused in his work, and looked at Aeodin. "I don't respect their choices. But I choose to respect the life that was lost. I know we had to fight them or they would have killed us and killed others in the future, but it doesn't change the fact that they are dead because of us. We're the ones who shed their blood, and destroyed whatever was left of their souls. I won't try to convince you further. You have the right to feel however you wish, I just ask that you give me the same courtesy."
  16. "At the very least we can get the bones off of the street so it isn't a reminder to everyone that walks by. I know I certainly wouldn't want to see a bunch of skeletons on my morning stroll." Laonin said as he continued digging. This was going to take a while.
  17. Hearing Ishek's description of events troubled Laonin. "Yes, I, or he, was an Epic. I try not to think about the things Thundershriek has done, and instead try to focus on making up for them." Loanin barely noticed what was happening with Veil, because he was too lost in thought. By the time he could react, Ishek had carried him off. I hope he is alright, I trust Ishek to take care of him, whatever his ailment. Laonin walked over to the bikes they had ridden in on, and began looking for any clues as to where they had come from, or what they had done with the group of people. Unfortunately, it seems Thundershriek had done an excellent job destroying them, and anything on them. Walking over to a group of the dead, Laonin spoke up, not knowing if anyone was really around to hear him or not. "We need to take care of the bodies. Even if they were out enemies, they were still human, and they deserve that much respect. Just try to check and see of they have anything on them that could lead us to where they took the people they kidnapped." Laonin then searched the pockets of the man he was closest to, and walked to an empty corner of the square, and set him down. Laonin pulled out a stamp, and changed his Axe into a shovel, and began digging.
  18. At this point, I would assume that since we ended up with less players than Straw wanted originally, I would agree we probably don't have a Coinshot. I doubt a Coinshot would have passed up the chance on possibly taking out the Seer. And if an elim was Coinshot I don't see them choosing not to take out villagers.
  19. That makes more sense. It was my first SE game yes. And thanks for what I assume to be a compliment. I had a lot of fun with this honestly. Hopefully next time I'll get a role that can do something more impactful! There was very minimal discussion in Moiraine's Circle since we didn't know if we could trust each other. Though once Lan died I think I managed to mostly convince Steel I was village, and we actually talked about some stuff.
  20. Fair enough. Also, if I had been Mat, I would have asked the Gms this via PM. Since I wasn't Mat, I wanted to know, and wanted everyone else to know too, just so we were all on the same page.
