  1. Okay. Final rating see below. I rated his breaths with more points than I would usually alott for the third heightening, as he has a lot more to use. I kept them below the forth of course. Should he aquire the missing breaths, please keep in mind, that this would count as 'advancement' and therefore a mod is needed to reapprove the sheet. ============== @Die_eike Final rating see below. ============== @DramaQueen and here the rating for your new character
  2. After the Anarchist left Mike turned back to the Lord and Cassie. "So, when do you plan to leave?" he asked, growing a little restless. He looked forward to some work, but if he needed to spend the next hours waiting for Lord to finish his business, he would most likely need to go and look for it elsewhere. The night was growing short and at one point or the other the best targets would be gone. "If you could point me to the warehouse, I could start moving the boxes around that you mentioned earlier?" He suggested to show his willingness to do something. Better to appear a little too eager than not interested at all. Better. But then you never knew. Maybe this was - he shook his head. He hadn't even known this place existed. There was no way for anybody to lure him here into a trap. It was just another place. One, if he played his cards right, where he maybe even was able to sell a few things. Harmless ones maybe? He'd have to see if Lord would be up for it, or not. Or if he would have to come here with untraceable ones only. "Do you also buy items?" he asked and looked through the clustered store again. Maybe here was another opportunity he hadn't considered so far. @Lord_Silberfarben @Ashbringer

  4. The door opened again and a man stepped into it. He had short, dark hair, was tall, a little lanky and hummed a happy, nice tune. He looked around curiously, his gaze lingering just a second on the windows, the door, before he turned towards the only other person in the room. "Hello." he greeted Poller with a bright smile and walked over to the counter. "I'm looking for a vial, something special, with a few leaves curled around it, or maybe some flowers." he grinned and then shrugged with his shoulder. "For a lady, you know? Beautiful, but not too much. Ideally she'll be able to wear it on many different occasions, as an accessoire of some sorts?" He shot Poller a smile. "I'm not too sure about the details, maybe let me see what you have? She's a special one, and I want for it to be as special as she is." Leaning forward he lowered his voice, despite still being bascially alone in the room apart from the one he was speaking to. "You know, she had an idea, and I want to see if she's got the guts to follow it through. So I thought, maybe a present would be nice? Nothing too large, just something nice." he continued to describe what he was looking, not quite realizing his different idea contradicted themselves. "Do you have anything like that?" @Ashbringer
  5. Althea climbed up after Gethen and Mari and took a look around on the street. It was empty, compared to usual times, but then the festival was a lot of things but not a usual time or situation. She nod curtly, gratefully at Brin that he had helped with getting the others out and then crossed her arms in front of her chest - thinking. They had found the piece of skin, so someone had met with the Dustbringer. Either that, or he had been assaulted - no, there hadn't been any signs of a fight. Given his last confrontation she doubted that he would suddenly start fighting with subtlety. Pulling out her device she checked it again, both for the runner and to see if there were any information on the piece of skin they'd found. Chances were slim, with most of the staff outside and partying she doubted their network would run as smooth and fast as usual. It was normal. Which also made this night the perfect night to target someone. Surprise had her widen her eyes by a fraction when she saw that she had been wrong. "I think I've got something." she said quietly, quickly reading through the message. It was short, obviously sent by someone drunk, close to a jazz club not far from here. "Someone saw a person with skin that roughly matches the pieces we found. He wasn't entirely sure whether it was a costume or not, but felt as if the skin was too good to be fake." She closed the message before anybody could take a close look and pulled up a map instead, entering the adress and then turning her device so that everybody could take a look at the way. "It's not far. If we want to, we can see what wee can find there." @BringerOfLight @kenod @Kings_way
  6. Glady. Let's talk about it a little
  7. It sounds like a lot of fun. I'd be up for it I think. ===== @Voidus Originally zinc and I wanted to use the Boarding House for exactly that purpose. Then bees claimed dips on the tavern, so I kind of stepped back. As @ZincAboutIt is now talking about a completely new place that idea might have died? I'm not sure honestly, we didn't discuss it again, although for me it would still be an option.
  8. Thank you so much! That was exactly what I was aiming for! I have to admit I spent more time on getting the tone right than anything else.
  9. Okay, so here we are. I'm not entirely satisfied, but in the end I know, that I won't have the time to go over it again, so here you are! I tried out a few things and it turned out quite different from my previous ones - so any feedback is appreciated.
  10. Sounds like a place where Mike could find some interesting work.
  11. I took a look at your character yesterday and had a few questions. (Page before that one, last post). If you have a minute to answer them, I can finish rating your character and you can start
  12. @DramaQueen Hello and welcome to the Alleyverse! I added my thoughts on your character below in green. =============== Thanks a lot! The organic material part goes against the coppermind's information about Type IV awakened objects, but I personally don't see any reason why that should be a huge problem.
  13. She listened to his words, considered them. It took her quite a while, to understand, to really understand that he was offering to take all of it over by himself. Whatever idea he had, hopefully it would be better than hers. It had to be. Of course it would be, because he was able to think about useful stuff without his thoughts running around in panicked circles. "I can help." she agreed, nodded in confirmation both for herself and for him. Lifting her head again she eased her storing, allowed her thoughts to move more quickly again. "I know about not thinking straight she added with a smile that felt a little forced on her own face. "Smack you on your head an take off the ring." she nodded again. "That sounds as if I can do it." Pushing herself a little up she glanced into the room again. The men were going on, had started some kind of sing song. "You know." she whispered in Lewis direction. "I wonder if all that magic stuff in neccessary, or if they watched a couple of bad movies the last few weeks. It feels a little over the top." @Eluvianii
  14. Just wait and see. I really liked what the two of you wrote, will be hard to match that. I had two creative hours today, so hopefully I can finish tomorrow.
  15. Isn't wednesday the 15th? I hopefully have my pieces sorted out by wednesday, but tomorrow I can't promise.
  16. Mike watched the man buy the explosives, trying to hide his astonishment at the amount of money he so easily spent. That was more than he was able to earn in a whole week, no a whole month. And so many. Uneasily he shifted his weight to his other leg, unsure what to do now. He didn't want to endanger his job with the Lord, but he also wanted to see to know what was going on, what the man was planning to do. Nervously he tugged on one of his gloves, played with the part where the finger had been cut of, leaving him with a protected palm and free fingertips. The Anarchist was still standing in the shop, so he still had to ask careful questions, had to try to phrase it all in a way that made him appear unconspicious and yet - Mike sighed, knowing that he simply wasn't the right right person for that. He had no idea how to do it, and he would only mess it up if he tried. For now he had a job and a job was important. He needed the money. Whatever the Anarchist planned, he doubted it would happen within the next few hours. "If you need a hand-" he nodded towards the explosives, "I could be of assistance, whenever you need them, you know?" There that was good, wasn't it? Had he already told the man, that the was a thief? That getting into buildings was his strength, that he knew the paths and the little signs on the walls? That he had contacts to sell whatever was taken? Frowning he tried to remember, but the smell of a nice beer together with a steak caught his attention. He turned his head to see who had managed to get some food his stomach growling in response. His eyes moved through the room, but there was nothing, nothing but the smell, although now that he tried to follow it, to see where it came from it vanished quickly, so quickly that he wondered if it had been there at all. He looked back at the Anarchist and paused, unsure at which point he had stopped talking. A job, he was trying to ask the man if he could participate on whatever heist he was planning. "Here." he reached into his pocked and scribbled a few numbers on a slip of paper. It was slightly smudged, but it should work. "Contact me if you need a hand?" He withstood the impulse to smack himself on the head. That was exactly what he had said earlier. "Or maybe we could meet for a drink later?" There, that was better, far better. His hand shivvered slightly when he held the slip of paper out for the Anarchist to take. He needed to eat, soon. Later. For now, if things worked out well, he might end up with two possibilities for work now and then. And that was better than anything he'd imagined. @Lord_Silberfarben @Gears

  18. @Kings_way Here you are! As usual, comments see below in green. ============= Hello and welcome to the Alleyverse @Die_eike. Comments on your character and rating see below in green.
  19. Althea looked at Gethen, Mari and Max. The ceiling was still a little bit above her head and she didn't want to risk lieaving someone stuck down here. Looking around she saw a larger piece of rock lying on the ground to one side and knelt down next to it. It's surface was slimy, covered by grime and something that might have been some plants and she felt a surge of relief at the thought that they would be out of this place soon. Inhaling a little bit of stormlight she turned the rock into a piece of rope. It wasn't long, but long enough to reach the manhole above them. Hopefully that would help the other three to get out of the place as well, without her needing to elsecall them all out of it. She could, but the she didn't have enough knowledge about the situation above ground to determine whether it was worth it or not. Another advantage was the simple fact that she prefered not to show off too much of her powers. She doubted they would be stupid enough to consider her a beginner, but then there was a huge difference between a beginner and herself. She'd been elsecalling a few minor things now and then so far and she liked it that way. "Can you catch the rope?" she called up to Brin and help it up. "It should be long enough that you can tie it to a pole nearby, so that we can climb out." @BringerOfLight

  21. I can't take a closer look till monday, sorry. Working with the index is a pain on mobile. I like the idea though, but I want to compare to some other powers before approving and probably read a bit about type IV awakened objects.
  22. Wita nodded, then considered what to do next. "Can you disarm them?" she inquired silently, looking back into the room, trying to come up with something good. "And if we had something like a fine powder, it might destroy their sight for a while, while we - " she paused, realizing where she might get some powder from and closed her eyes, breathing quickening. Fire. Why did it always come back to fire? There definitely would be fire fighting tools around, enough for both of them, but the thought to use it - Stopping herself she started storing again, her eyes unfocusing. Breathe. The only though left - breathe. In and out. In and out. "I'm not sure." she continued slowly, her voice drawing out the words. "Unconcious maybe - oxygen, remove -" she paused and shook her head. "I need a second." she whispered and hugged herself, pressed her eyes close. Just a moment, nothing but a moment for herself, to push it all away again and then she could think about all of it again. Just a short moment.
  23. "I don't think so." Althea shook her head. "Maybe the prisoner saw where he was going and went there to meet him, help him get away?" she suggested. If Tyrian had send a signal, it had been way earlier, probably as soon as he realized he was facing several opponents instead of only her. So he had no chance to convey his plan to use the basement to escape. The moment Max had started to riot him - he wouldn't have thought about sending a signal just like herself he had cared about nothing but getting away. A shadow crossed over her face and she jumped in surprise when suddenly a gunshot rang out, leaving her ears hurt slightly. Despite that - she was grateful for it, glad that it had jostled her out of her dark thoughts, driven them away quickly. Glancing upward she looked at the metal disk again, wondered what good a single bullet might do. Surprise made her study it for a while longer. Fascinating. "Try it." she told Max. "Can you see the dent over there? I think that could have been a lock of some sorts." Stepping back in case someone was waiting above or preparing to drop down on them the moment they opened the exit she readied herself, mentally touched the walls and the air around them. She found it easier to souldcast things if they already knew her, if she established contact upfront. It shortened the time she needed to discuss with them, to bribe them into doing what she wanted them to do. Brashen sat down on her shoulder, and watched what was about to happen. He was curious, but the fact that he was relaxed, relaxed her as well. It hinted at either a very good ambush, or no threat nearby. And while she wasn't entirely sure what she prefered it was nice to know that nothing obvious was going to happen. Keeping her attention on their surroundings she shifted her weight to her left leg and waited. Max was here, weapon in his hand. They had a Skybreaker, a very keen eyed shot with a gun and Mari. From the way she walked, moved with confidence, how quickly she had reacted to Gethen pulling the gun - whatever her skills were she definitely wasn't to be underestimated. If someone was waiting for them - they were in for quite a fight. =========== @Kings_way
