I would like to help with this! I love board games, I've played a ton of them. This would be after the stormlight game, but an Alcatraz bluffing game comes to mind as a possibility.

Long Game 64: Choose Your Own Sanderson Adventure!

To clarify, can multiple special basic mechanics be established? Assuming they're straightforward enough you don't veto them?- 421 replies

Long Game 64: Choose Your Own Sanderson Adventure!
Kidpen replied to little wilson's topic in Sanderson Elimination
So are you making nothing? If experience reads the rules and decides to claim the world then I'll choose something else, but if not then this game is officially taking place on Earth. Specifically, the Earth from Alcatraz VS the Evil Librarians. Signing up as Arthur Smedry, after Port Arthur.- 421 replies

I got one a while ago! I believe I discussed it with you, but essentially what happened is somebody at my school registered accounts like Kidpen's Friend, Kidpen's Best Friend, and so on. For obvious reasons, and along with another account from a different friend at my school, this hit the multiple account detector, so I got a warning point, along with a 'restricted from posting, 2 days and 10 minutes'. I cleared up the issue, and now it says 1 warning point and No restrictions being applied. I can still see the old warning message, along with a button that pops up a list of all my warning messages (1).

If You Had 3 Reality Altering Wishes, What Would You Do?
Kidpen replied to a topic in General Discussion
See, but the thing is that if I was omnipotent I would just make myself not bored anymore. Also it occured to me that the first wish may result in me understanding every wish I could possibly make, resulting in an overload of information, possibly putting me in a vegetative state, unable to make any wish to undo it. That's why I would have a friend poised to undo the wish should such a scenario take place. Edit: Also, interesting thing on wishes. https://www.lesswrong.com/posts/4ARaTpNX62uaL86j6/the-hidden-complexity-of-wishes -

In case you're wondering I didn't respond to this because I was busy adjusting to my new angst-centric lifestyle. I'm now gay, in the bpd tag, and have written a literally impossibly gory short story. That's how you're supposed to use these right. You take it and then do everything it says.

Ohhh it's just the random button on superpower wiki. I love this thing . Anyways, I got multiversal lordship. I rule the multiverse. Bow down.

Happy birthday @Fifth Scholar and @Amanuensis!

Mmmk. Alv Bard I remembered part of what was in the post! I don't know what role you think I have or how you got the info, but I will take it.

Alright hold up, I need to object to this. Unless the people in the Research subset has more information, I don't think it's all that likely that the EBI agents know who they are. It seems much more reasonable to me to keep their identity secret unless one of them dies tomorrow, considering that it's looking like 3 people per subset except communications. Gosh dang it. I wrote a much longer post that I thought I posted but apparently not, and now this is all that's left. I'm going to stick a vote on Rath Alv almost entirely for keeping myself alive purposes. That being said I would switch to Bard if somebody else does.

I have! It's one of my favorites, and it has a ton of remixes.

Rath your end vote on Abstrucity still seems mildly to moderately suspicious to me. ... and that's literally it. I'm very open to other lynch targets, but I thought I'd try getting the ball rolling early this cycle.

Are you included in these four players?
-
I'd just like to say that I don't completely agree with clearing Bard, considering that even if Bard wasn't the one to give up the info, it would still get out, so elim!bard would almost definitely be better off having released the info.

Yeah, checks out, just making sure I didn't miss something.

Mmmmmk. So you think that every time your personality changes you become a distinctly different person? How would you distinguish it from death, in that case? Or is it the same and you're OK with dying essentially every moment?

Under the assumption that he made up the Sparkles subset, or for some other reason I can't think of?

I said a little while ago that I've been listening to Homestuck music, and I would still very much recommend it, but lately I've been stuck on one specific artist from that group named Michael Guy Bowman. He's the only one I know of that has a large following outside of Homestuck, along with the fact that most others do mostly instrumental songs. He does mostly rock stuff, but it's a kind of eclectic mix of genres generally. I'm a huge fan and would recommend. Bandcamp: https://bowman.bandcamp.com List of good songs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGQn4ZUgHa4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stFYm4iM74c&list=OLAK5uy_mSKmyelfcGkm9w7Ex-cmUC1PI5peXGP4k&index=2&t=0s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfA0PDMOFr8&list=OLAK5uy_nB5-QshLTbHnnUmt-jJYSI7qVSWKEPCF0&index=2&t=0s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9XA_P5g_4w&list=OLAK5uy_kT4A-zOvA1ht-UCuwStN-uoVIdxS7S7Qw&index=8&t=0s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=beWrYV5T6Og&list=OLAK5uy_lYknNHJL8lxjOMGGPFqMizSSGGlM0hE4w&index=6&t=0s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m10LaZrlpEk&list=OLAK5uy_lYknNHJL8lxjOMGGPFqMizSSGGlM0hE4w&index=5&t=0s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtQ8O8dfRhw&list=OLAK5uy_lYknNHJL8lxjOMGGPFqMizSSGGlM0hE4w&index=3&t=0s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAXQLTWeyro&list=OLAK5uy_lYknNHJL8lxjOMGGPFqMizSSGGlM0hE4w&index=8&t=0s

The arguments against Elkanah are as follows: They downplayed the threat of the elim team. I don't feel at all like this is a reasonable thing to base an elim read off of, in a game where the elim team is the only enemy. They definitely aren't right about that theory, but I don't think it's the type of thing someone would say from an elim mindset. They voted for Abstrusity based off of your faulty reasoning. I didn't like the Abstrusity lynch, obviously, but Elkanah voting on it seemed moderately reasonable given the information we had. And this severely downplays the fact that you did, in fact, vote on Abstrucity first. The only other person on the train was Venture, who wanted to save himself. Playstyle changed severely. This is a valid read sometimes, but in this specific case I don't think it indicates an elim. Elkanah has very much agreed that they changed their playstyle heavily in this game, and for me that makes it read more as a general switch than an alignment based switch. At the moment Elkanah has, if anything, a moderate village read from me. I'm not totally sold on your elimness, but the case is by far the strongest out of all the players, and you certainly haven't given any reasonable alternatives, in my view.

Alright, I get most of what you're saying. For the record when I said consistent consciousness I didn't mean just consciousness, I meant in the sense of the Star Trek Problem. As in, when your consciousness stops, that's the same as death, and even if you come back that's another person. Does that make sleep death? Maybe. So you think the particular combination of brain, memories, mind, and body is what makes a person themselves? Any of those changing would result in a totally (in the sense of a similar but distinguishable) different person.

Oooooh I love all of this stuff. I'm super late, but I especially love your digital stuff from, like, 11 months ago. Idk why, I just have a thing for digital art I think.
