Arthos gathered fire in his left hand and set the wind to swirling around him. "The elements are mine to command, yes."

"Crime? I've been wandering a series of caverns likely for longer than you've been alive. There were no crimes." Arthos took no notice of the change of scenery. There wasn't time for that. He did take notice of the bending that took place. "How did you hide your augmentations?"

I'm extremely tempted to say it's either Vin or Dox in some form of Scadrian script.

"Very well. You who would claim to be higher enough to imprison us. Why are we here?" Arthos asked, automatically assuming the people around him were on a similar level to him in power, because why else would they be jailed together?

Arthos slowly faded back into consciousness, the dullness brought on by being merged with metal slowing his return, but he still realized something was wrong. The whispers were gone. The whispers that had plagued him in the cave, the backdrop of the last two thousand years of his life, gone at last? It was...eerily quiet. The spectres and the Spirit gone from his head felt odd. Only his own thoughts sat in his head, booming in the emptiness. He found that, after dreaming for so long of this moment, it was not to his taste. He needed to get back. He anchored fully in his mind and body once more, the gemlights in his joints bursting to life, and he swirled Air under his body to lever himself into a fully sitting position and opened his eyes to behold this new cage. The passive boosting of Sight allowing him to take in more, quicker, and Memory allowed him to feel as though he'd never forget it. "My name is Arthos Kalin," he said, glowing eyes focusing on each of them in turn. "Why am I here, and what must I do to leave?"

First section has been disappeared by myself because I realized I was letting my tiredness make me angry and not channeling it well. My bad. I'm all for the recreation of the world to shuffle things up a little, it's an interesting prospect.

What is the Cutest thing in the Cosmere? Why?
Invocation replied to Karger's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I gotta say the cutest thing in the cosmere would be Chiri-Chiri, because tiny Investiture-eating flying thing is adorable.- 80 replies

That's what they want you to think!

Bands of Mourning, while Wax and Steris are going to Kelesina's party.

I would have thought that it would take a little while for it to form fully. Depends on how they did the creation, though. Theoretically I suppose that amount of Investiture coalescing could have sped the process up, especially if they chose to create humans directly during the creation of the planet as opposed to seeding the development into the planet and leaving it alone. It might also depend on if the Shards count for the development of the CR and if they carry extra weight.

I want this to happen now, specifically in sitcom style.

My worldbuilding is either incredibly precise and detailed or the equivalent of Psychostick's "We Ran Out Of CD Space." In the first scenario, I plan obsessively. Make maps, playlists, magic systems, rules, countries, codes of law, themes, characters, snippets, and histories. In the second, I stay up for five or so days and then chug three gallons of Mountain Dew I've put a ton of yarrow into to soak to alter my perception doubly - sleep deprivation and the yarrow's natural effect in concentration. (I don't recommend this to anyone, it ends with you feeling like your head got jackhammered for five straight days and peeled off the jackhammer and tossed in front of a train then run over by a steamroller before being tossed into a pool filled with salt and lemon juice and dunked repeatedly.)

Dullforms can have spren. One of the ways mentioned to acquire dullform (in WoR, if I recall correctly) is to "bond the wrong spren." Slaveform has no spren and dullform is a form that appears to mimic that crippling due to an incomplete bond while still allowing them to retain some complex thought, even if it is hard to use. If they didn't have any complex thought, the dullform spies would never have been a thing.

Just as a note, the character intro threads that were discussed a bit earlier are up if anyone wants to use them.

The Rhythms are an intriguing thing. They relate, somehow, to a certain phenomenon that spans the cosmere, and they just appear as Rhythms in their Rosharan manifestation. It might be related to the Seeker powers from Mistborn (given that they could hear the Rhythms if one went to Roshar) but we don't know. That's WOB territory. Some other species in the cosmere can interact with some version of the Rhythms, apparently, and that's a new one for me. All in all, the Rhythms are definitely strange and I do agree that the beads are probably rattling to the Rhythms, though I think it's more the other way around: the Rhythms in their Rosharan form are a result of the beads themselves reacting to various spren and the Listeners are picking up on it due to their gemhearts and the spren inside linking them into the Cognitive Realm.

Kind of sort of. Dalinar said they buffed the paint out of his to get it back to the grey when he first got his, which is pretty much sanding from what I understand.

Zerameth Adovani woke up, slumped in a corner. Where...am I? How did I get here? Brief flashes of memory pass before him - a cracking sound and pain from his head, but it felt like it might have been a dream. Like nothing was real. His head felt fine. The only concrete information he had was his name and the feeling of the booth beneath him. Then suddenly he was somewhere else. ------ "Daddy, why do we hunt the big chulls?" he said. "We hunt the chasmfiends for their hearts. The gems they give us let us make more food, Zerameth. I've explained this to you multiple times," his father said, terse as ever, his face set in a seemingly permanent disapproving scowl. He muttered one final word, at the edge of hearing: "Disgraceful." -------- And then he was back in his seat, disoriented. What...just happened? Was that me? The details were already fading, fragmenting in his head; a dream fading into the wind.

This is one of those mostly subjective things, so while I disagree with you, I also recognize there's no 100% correct answer to this and respect your different viewpoint.

That makes a lot more sense now. I was kind of confused.

Okay so it is actually fine I'm using one of my own magic systems then. Great! I'm hopping into using my Zestan system, then. It's very interesting and if anyone's curious about using it for their character too, just PM me. John you can PM me too if you want the full explanation on it.

Lance looked at Rudo incredulously. "They actually took all your metalminds? I've still got two on me. You need to work on hiding a few for emergencies. Anyway, let them come. I can handle it."

Probably via forming a physical body in the same way as Autonomy's avatars.

Dying isn't mutually exclusive with a happy ending if the character dies in a good way.
