  1. This was foreshadowing for Kaladin getting back Syl. Mmmmhhhh
  2. Erm... Frostlands?
  3. Somebody heals his blade-wounded legs!
  4. Yeah, pretty simple ... They stabbed her... twice... so stormlight healed her... No issue... Then water came, and she Transported to Shadesmar... Don't see any issue there... Healing from a knife wound seems way easier than the instant reknitting or healing shardbalde wounds happening to Kaladin or Szeth...
  5. How crazy is for her to be Cultivation?
  6. There are still many questions about Shallan and how/why she acted... I too believe she will be the traitor...
  7. Where do we see Illumination? I agree with this, and the chart above, just that having Vev on both chapters is confusing... Also, given that "Renarin sees a spren that nobody else does" tidbit from Brandon means that Truthwatchers are actually #8 ? (since we have seen #5's spren).... Also, both Ym and Renarin have glasses; first thing Renarin did was to heal his sight, whereas Ym was still using spectacles... more confusing stuff
  8. I don't see why everyone thinks Helaran was involved with the Ghostbloods. In book 1, Amaram/Restares think it was the ghostbloods trying to kill him, but maybe it was the skybreakers. Maybe Amaram have no idea the skybreakers exist, and thus thought of the ghostbloods. It is also weird why no other skybreaker tried to kill Amaram, I would think that Heralan was there to execute justice for something amaram might have done (e.g. bring back the desolation). Thus, even with H dead, other skybreaker should pick up the justice act...
  9. I think this is the thing I am expecting most in the next (Szeth's) book - how will he use the sword? what powers it exactly? can he surgebind? will he have a spren?
  10. I think Nightblood is there to kill surgebinders. I think that's still Nalan's intention. All surgebinders are 'evil'...
  11. This act of great villainy went beyond the impudence which had hitherto been ascribed to the orders; as the fighting was particularly intense at this time, many attributed this act to a sense of inherent betrayal; and after they withdrew, about two thousand made assault upon them, destroying much of the membership; but this was only nine of the ten, as one said they would not abandon their arms and fl ee, but instead entertained great subterfuge at the expense of the other nine * what act of great villainy? * what fighting was intense? was it vs. voidbringers, or vs. themselves? * after they retreated? who? * 2000 assaulted the ones that retreated => 2000 radiants? or 2000 attacked the radiants? * what membership? * 2000 were 9 orders? My interpretation: 2000 radiants attacked a certain... society? ... that they were fighting before, but who withdrew from the fight. The radiants decided to attack them after they withdrew, then to abandon their arms and flee. We've seen Windrunners and stonewards do that. Who were they fighting? Other radiants? Szeth has no radiantblade. Rather Nalan is recruiting people and giving them objects of power, not spren. We see Darkness telling the guy that killed Gawx to give himself up to the law; that guy thought he was above azish law - did not look like he had a spren, but rather Nalan was interpreting law for him.
  12. Given that cultivationspren (like Wyndle) don't bond with parshendi, I would say that no, they are not cultivation's creation. Rather it looks like they were on Roshar before humans's arrival, probably created by Adonalsium.
  13. My theory was that the Plates are the spren damnation, hard way to be proven wrong like that
  14. * It's WoB that the recipient of Hoid's letter in TwoK is a dragon, and this looks like the reply to that letter. * Mraize is Hoid-level worldhopper, which is something very difficult to be. Maybe he's 17Shard? If that, he would be really really high-level member. But then, 17Shard work for the dragon. * "He bears the weight of God's own divine hatred, separated from the virtues that gave it context. He is what we made him to be, old friend." looks to me Hoid and the Dragon shattered Adonalsium. Maybe Hoid feels guilty of the destruction after the shattering?
  15. It would be so funny for Adolin to become Kal's squire
  16. I think Nightblood was taken from Zaher.
  17. The Dragon replies to Hoid. Anyone else thinks Dragon and Hoid splintered Adonalsium?
  18. From WoR about Rayse: "He bears the weight of God’s own divine hatred, separated from the virtue that gave it context. He is what we made him to be, old friend. " This is a message from the Dragon (Mraize?) to Hoid, I think these two splintered Adonalsium.
  19. Smokeform... "It was by Unmade hand." Anyone thinks that smokeform is achieved when bound to one Unmade? Maybe it was Venli, and now moved on and take another guise? - this time maybe human? Otherwise: parshendi are more of the cognitive, thus are dumb in the physical. How come they are smarter when bonding a spren, 100% cognitive?
  20. 1, 2, 3 can be whatever I guess...
  21. Maybe skybreakers can see past sins - that's how Nalan knows Ym's and Lift's ... transgressions... Looking at a person, "reading his soul", and saying: you are guilty, x years ago you did that.... definitely looks very divine...
  22. Good post, Moogle.
  23. I wonder how a shardpool looks like in Shadesmar I think this would be a good question for Brandon.
