  1. The other Selish magics that we know of should only require one spike to steal from since anyone with Connection to the corresponding country can use that magic.
  2. They're there. I know for sure we have two people from Mistborn, two from Sel(Elantris), at least one from Taladin(Khriss), and one from Yolen(Hoid).
  3. Wait I have a questuon, so did Rashek change them spiritually and added a blockage? And did anyone know of Hemalurgy before the Lord Ruler?
  4. I feel like using Hemalurgy you could make a shardblades, with maybe a little Feruchemy.
  5. Well what probably could happen is that they spike out Wayne's A-Bendalloy and F-Gold abilities, and them Harmony turns him into a mistwraith, and then they spike his abilities back into him, allowing him to be a Kandra.
  6. @RSharaOkay, I just considered that mistwraiths' blockages would be passed on to their children Oathbringer Spoilers Now I wonder if two inquisitors had a baby, would the baby have holes in their spiritwebs where both of the inquisitors had spikes in their spiritebs?
  7. In a different topic on the forums, I was talking about kandra with other sharders, and a more experience sharder said something different about the creation of mistwraiths than what I thought happen, so can someone just make sure that what's below is right. How I believe mistwraiths were created was that the Lord Ruler put a blockage of investiture between the physical and cognitive aspect of all full feruchemists(but one), this blockage cause them to transform into mistwriaths and lose their minds, but their spiritual aspect remain the same, so all the spiritwebs of the original mistwraiths and their children would look like normal human spiritwebs. Kandra are created when you spike a mistwraith with two spikes, this allows their cognitive aspect to interact with their physical aspect giving them sapience. So my question is are Kandras' spiritwebs similar/ or the same as regular humans.
  8. I actually have a theory that Glys is nothing new, and that every generation of truthwatchers has at least one corrupted truthwatcher spren, and using their powers to see both the future and the present the truthwatchers create a timeline for the best possible outcome.
  9. Well Kaladin has good reason to be good at everything he does. He a great medic because he trained most of his childhood, he can read glyphs because he's a medic, he can fight because he trained for most of his adulthood and part of his childhood, and he was a captain in the army, not only that but most of his flaws are countered by Sylvia telling him not to do it. He really hasn't done anything in the books that he hasn't done in his backstory besides windrunning, but the Nahel Bond helps with that.
  10. I just want to point out that atrifabrians do weird things to the gemstones to make fabrials. All gemstones can be used in altering fabrials, but only rubies and garnets can be used in pairing fabrials, and each gemstone can only be used in one sub class of pairing fabrials. Finally to pair fabrials you put them through a special process that connects them(probably in the spiritual realm.). This is without surgebinding because anyone can learn how to be an atrifabrians.
  11. I know this post is old but, I think awakening a servered arm would probably just heal the arm. If anyone is seeing this there is a convention coming up soon.
  12. Have you discovered Trell's faceless Immortals? since they are the souls of the "dead" do you think they are cognitive entries or spiritual entities, I want spiritual entities because the closest we have to spiritual entities are shadowblazes and we don't know much about them and how much Brandon has changed them after removing them from the Cosmere
  13. That's what I'm asking, can I use Tin Medallions to give primer cubes an extra level of intent.
  14. I know, but I want a mechanical metal detector
  15. Because a different person has to fill each trait and filling a trait makes it harder to add a new trait, but with Hemalurgy you can fill more than one trait at a time.
  16. I haven't read any WoB that said that but the book given reason is that because to store multiple powers you need multiple people, and each time a new person stored a power it made it harder to store a new power, but with Hemalurgy people can have between 2-4 powers before reaching the threshold where Harmony can mind control them allowing them to store a lot more powers.
  17. Truthfully the only way I can think that medallions won't be over powered is that allomantic and feruchemist abilities that were given via Hemalurgy can't be used to create medallions because Hemalurgy messes with Feruchemy.
  18. I was trying to say that the tin medallion is connected to the primer cube and gave it F-tin and is actively storing steel vision.
  19. Because I'm trying to only use the Metallic Arts
  20. Can I have a primer cube burning steel that is attach to a tin medallion that's storing the steelvision of the cube or have a tin medallion attached to a primer cube so that the primer cube uses ettmetal to project the sense that is stored in the medallion? (Trying to figure out how to create a metal detector using mechanical Metallic Arts.)
  21. At the end of Bands of Mourning, northern Scadrialians got their has on medallions. The next book in the series take place a few years later, which allow northern scadrialians time to figure out how to produce medallions with one power only. Medallions give the user the ability to store one feruchemical trait in the metal that corresponds to that trait. So what's stopping any rich or noble allomancer from ordering a medallion and becoming a compounder. With a steel medallion Wax can have near infinite speed, Wayne can have unlimited nutrition, and Marasi gets unlimited oxygen. But what is more worrying i that Set agents can become dual compounders. Take a Set allomancer give him a medallion and two spikes and now he can compound any two feruchemical traits. How can Wax and Co. defeat someone who can have infinite health and speed or unlimited speed and senses. The greater question is how will this affect the world, the power to basically become unstoppable by mixing all three metallic arts (or just two). Will Scadrial have terrorist attacks on large scales, and how will this shape wars when future governments learn hemalurgy? There will be wars where everyone is a compounder+. Edit: What happens when they realize with hemalurgy they can store up to nine traits per medallion.(Three feruchemists, each spiked with two unique feruchemical traits, using nicorsil /aluminum medallions to gain the ability to create medallions. Because the powers don't interfere with each other, but the process of multiple people storing new abilities in the nicrosil part of the medallion when there are already things stored in the medallion )
  22. I know that spren means any sentient investiture, but in this post I was referring to sapient spren when I said spren. Really what this post was about was if you all thought it was possible that instead of just pouring investiture into their souls, Odium actually changed their spiritweb to keep them a live. I know that after both processes the results are pretty much the same, but I still wonder.
  23. I was listening to a shardcast and they were complaining about how the Stormfather doesn't use the correct language to describe the Fused. This got me thinking what if the Fused are actual spren. So when Odium created the Fused, instead of pouring investiture into their spiritwebs he altered their spiritweb so that their spiritweb now resembles the spirit web of sprem. The Rebirth Syndrome that the Fused face could be caused by the use or activation of Odium's magic, but it could also be caused by becoming spren*. Spren , even high spren, are shaped by what they represent, gloryspren seek glory, Cryptics are attracted to lies and truths, and Honorspren are honorable. It wouldn't be that big of jump to assume that is the Fused became spren of Odium they would be shaped by Odium's intent, intense hate, they would become spren that are built on hate. Pattern tells Shallan that when a Cryptic dies they become what they represent.(Can't find quote) The Fused die over and over again it would make sense that some won't be fully revived, and wouldn't fully regain their sapience, and become something that is driven by intense hatred. Odium doesn't like to invest in anything, but if he poured investiture into their spiritwebs, it would be almost impossible to get back if some of them leave Odium's side, while if he used investiture to change their spiritwebs, a small amount of the investiture will stay with the Fused, but the majority of the investiture will return to Odium. Odium would be more likely to perform this option because the Fused only follow Odium because he gives them the power to take back their world, they wouldn't follow Odium once they won Roshar, and wouldn't help him defeat other shards because they are not involved in the conflict. *When I say they become spren, I mean that become things similar to sapient spren.
