Hey I can join! Oldest of 4 with a 5 year gap between me and my youngest sister. I kinda wish I wasn’t the oldest though...there are a few perks sure, but I think the cons outweigh the pros. I do get my own car for a while though, so that’s fun. Best ‘being oldest’ perk so far. Once my siblings start being able to drive we’ll have to share, but for now it’s all mine.

I don’t think Sylladin is gonna happen, and honestly, I think a romantic relationship would be a step down compared to the intimacy they already have with the Nahel Bond. Their souls are literally combined, I don’t think you can get more intimate than that. There’s no good real world analogy for it, because it’s somehow platonic, but at the same time so much more intimate than any possible relationship irl. I’m perfectly happy with their relationship as it is, and I severely doubt that anything romantic would ever stem from it.

I’m all for Rlain being gay, and it does definitely seem like that’s where Brandon’s going, but I wonder if it will make the character seem...idk a little forced? Like, it feels like Brandon is trying to make Rlain as marginalized as possible. 1. He’s a listener, so discriminated by humans for being a different species. 2. He’s a listener, so discriminated by singers for being a different culture. 3. One of only 2 bridge 4 members without a spren (until the end). 4. When he finally gets a spren, it’s corrupted and different, further making him stand out, even among radiants. 5. And now he’s most likely gay. It feels like Brandon is trying to shove all the Minority Representation into this one character.

I’ve been getting shocked by things an unreal amount the last few days. It’s actually really weird. Like static shocks, but they hurt more. I haven’t been rubbing my socks on carpet or anything, so I have no idea why they keep happening. I can’t think of any possible cause at all, and so I am left with but one possible conclusion.

This was honestly the most emotional part of the book for me. Obviously this whole section is super emotional, Teft and Moash and Tien and 4th Ideal and Lirin, and allllll of it, but watching his scars finally heal tied it all together in a way that was just beautiful. I think that everything else was building up to that exact moment. It’s the emotional climax of the book imo.

It can be completely random, but the adjective needs to be really long. Literally any adjective, just as many letters as possible.
Current nominee is Pulchritudinous, which apparently means beautiful, and I got the idea from this post:
If anyone can give me a longer adjective I’ll do that instead.

I WOULD LIKE TO NOMINATE MYSELF. but Daaaaannnnnex, there’s already 10 people. Yeah, but Chaos said in the last election thread that he would prefer to be left out of Forum Games. So there’s one open spot. Also technically Gears never nominated the shadow leader, he just stated that it was already ruling over us, so one could argue that there are 2 open spots.

I still think Bearer is Elim, I don’t think that the entire team is Inactive, just most of them. The Elim who was been submitting all the kills might’ve been inactive, but Elim!Bearer thought that they would just submit the kill like they had been. Im still confused as to how TLR could do a scan this cycle. He scanned AnonOb last cycle successfully, how could he do Fadran this time? And why couldn’t he do one next cycle after Fadran, if he could do one after AnonOb?

Well I’m just gonna do my same vote as before, Bearer. The fact that the Elims didn’t send in a kill further supports my claim that the Elims are mainly inactives.

Same reasons as Sart’s vote on TJ really. They had the idea to look at the Illwei vote, which was a fairly sketchy lynch in hindsight, and that made me look into Bearer. He’s been almost completely silent this whole game, except for jumping on Illwei, and voting Turtle. Both of which sound like things he was told to do via the Elim doc. Illwei was attacking gears, so gears might’ve been like “hey, someone vote for Illwei, he was on to me.” And then later, bearer just pops in out of nowhere to jump on the turtle bandwagon, as if his Elim teammates were pressuring him to be more active. Mainly it’s just because of his inactivity, it fits with my read of the Elim team: Being very quiet, not influencing a ton. They completely missed the chance to mess with the PM chain.

I mean, the assassination wasn’t even planned until that night, so personally I doubt it. Could theoretically still be a Sleepless ig, probably not trying to stop the assassination though.

I’ve got to say, I got mildly bored in the middle of the book, when we see the entire storyline from the perspective of a Cremling. And then it dies. So all the rest of the pages were blank. Other than that though, the book was great.

My guess is that he’s a Kandra. 1. The number 16 is seen the most on Scadrial 2. Kandra can go a long time without food. 3. Sixteen is bald, and Kandra can’t create hair on their own.

Then why the heck was this epigraph in a SA book? There’s no connection at all if this was the case. A complete non-sequitur. I agree, it is very obvious that Harmony is working on having Wax be his “sword”, Wax even literally calls himself “harmony’s sword” at one point, but I see no reason at all for why Kal couldn’t be also. I think Wax is going to resign, or die, and Kal is going to replace him. He just fits so well. Much better than Wax does.

I think that’s just something Gears does, he intentionally claims Elim in every game so that when he actually is people can’t tell. Or something. Honestly not sure. As for TJ, I hesitantly read them as village. Edit: Looking back at that vote though, Bearer seems very suspicious, and they fit my Elim Team Profile pretty well.

Adonalsium and the Investituren’t were in a row that the chain was roleblocked by a little more sense to me. “Investituren’t”??????? Whaaaat???? Also, I think MR46 influenced this a lot “chain” “roleblocked”
