  1. Hah, don't worry about everything, plenty of other people are willing to correct people though we tend to be slower so you can leave it to others.
  2. I agree, just the way you worded it (no.) implied that it was a fact that that was not the case and I'm clarifying.
  3. I think he was suggesting on top of that using minor soulcasting, not exclusively soulcasting to convince.
  4. Well, the issue is that there are 13 total murals, so if those were actually stormfather nightwatcher and other, then we have a Spren mural that is not one of the Spren a Radient bonds mixed in with 12 images of Radient Spren.
  5. This makes me feel both better and worse about my copy arriving "by November 15th"
  6. It's a little known fact but the shattering was because adonalsium read this book by his alternate self.
  7. It's more about what we expect then what we want (though some people want to see it as they consider it a interesting plot point and arc)
  8. The reply about addiction could be about the Blackthorn and the thrill. (Also alcohol for him to)
  9. Well, symbolic lion for courage? and also, I thought Frost wasn't a shard, weren't all the people involved in the shattering human?
  10. @Isaiah Zayth Umm... First when did Jashnah soulcast rope on that ship? If you meant shallen she didn't either, she soulcast the boat making it so the ropes weren't secured to anything... In fact I don't remember if she even did that much I think she just soulcast the bottom of the boat away letting them get free if possible. You might be referring to the non-canon bit from Jasnah after she fully entered the CR, but that wasn't 100% canon last I checked.
  11. Oh... Sorry I must have miss remembered. I probably should have checked what you said but it's hard to on mobile...
  12. While I understand completely your point of view, I do have one thing to add, (you are Christian if I remember the discussion right) there are many many cases of God committing what is in essence mass murder with the flood, the city of something (the guy that died for looking back) and while revelations is not exact, we can assume that a lot of people would die. So I understand your view on murder = wrong, but I would like to hear your opinion on those events (assuming I'm not missremembering you saying you were Christian...), personally I believe more that within the complete context of a situation there is an absolute morality (sort of a middle ground I guess that agrees with tarvagian, saving humanity at great cost)
  13. An biography by the family of the Spren that formed Oathbringer. Nightblood after gaining intelligence from bonding with szeth Stick after he bonds a radiant as a stickblade
  14. The cosmere timeline is around 10K years by WoB, and I'm 99% sure another said that stormlight is around the middle, so 5000-4500=500
  15. Considering it's Dalinar's book i would expect 1-2 Kaladin chapters and at least one Dalinar chapter, either 2 Kaladin, one Dalinar, or One Kaladin, One Dalinar and one flashback
  16. When I was reading the last two chapters this week I noticed that there were only 10 murals of what are presumably Radiant Spren, however, the most commen theory as to what the bondsmith a bond are 3 different God-Spren, however these murals would imply that there is only one bondsmith Spren. Does anyone have a way to reconcile these things because I'm not sure and i like the bondsmith theory.
  17. The person that (peet?) was dating at the tavern probably.
  18. Or her family, that would be far worse for her, seeing her mother with burned out eyes, her father strangled, her brother with a ruined leg, and whatever else she still suppresses, that would be way worse for her.
  19. Well, if you consider breaking as giving the torturer what they wanted (the heralds to abandon the oathpact) then only nine broke, and that is a very commen usage of the word.
  20. Well, breaking bonds feels more opposite then corrupted, I think it would be more likly the opposite of an order that encourages others to fight, but sadly lightweavers are taken, do we know of any others that did that? The reason I prefer corrupted to opposite is because that is really the sense I get from the unmade we saw, and same with the death rattles being more like corrupted truth watchers then opposite.
  21. The nightmother feels less opposite and more like a corrupted Radient, it creates illusions to cause fear and chaos instead of moral support.
  22. I like the unmade being related to heralds that abandoned theory, because nine heralds abandoned, and I don't think there is any mention of them existing before the abandoning of the oathpact.
  23. Was there any mention of them existing before the oathpact was abandoned? Also, only nine abandoned, Taln stayed bonded to the oathpact.
  24. Well, when it tried to bond Shallen, would her new strength be closer to stormform, Radiant, or champion? That's what I want to know really. Also does anyone else feel like skirmishes like such would be a bad idea because the Unmade seems to be able to learn...
  25. Well, we seem to have confirmation that not only can an unmade bond a radiant by seperate groups their bond, but that the killer is an unmade, and we found the stormlight cache! Beyond that, multiple people can see a vision at once, Unmade appear to be related to Spren in the same way that Radient Spren are, and the creature doesn't appear to copy accidental harm, only harm intentionally committed! A single Radient appears to be able to capture a Unmade as well! Is each unmade similar to a different order or Radient as this one is?
