  1. Feruchemical Brass to fake a sicky, gold for same.
  2. I don't have my copy of AoL could you give the exact quote? He may be referring to the most common type of Allomancer which he fights, or sees, the most common type employed. I don't think that there is any disparity in the ratio of mistings.
  3. Well obviously they are a bit different since there's magic But I don't think he'll just handwavium his explanation we figured that it has to do with time bubbles in some manner so there isn't any breaking of the speed of light in that reference frame.
  4. Storing weight in one metalmind while tapping it from another. Just because.
  5. I think we have WoB on this, I'll see if I can find the quote. The Shards could have created humans based on what they already knew while the original humans remained on their homeworld. He can use illusion magics so his appearance isn't a fair indicator. He has some method of forward time travel IIRC but he is also far older than he should be so still somewhat valid. A They wouldn't be born with the ability but they may be able to gain it, by eating Lerasium for example. It's both that make the unique abilities I think. On the tranquiline halls being another shardworld, that one has definitely been discussed, I can't remember much against it but I think Brandon has said that either Honor or Odium were not native to Roshar, can't remember which (May have been both) On the second, we don't know that Odium isn't still on Roshar, besides his presence might only be necessary to give them the abilities, not to use them. I'm going to go search for some supporting quotes.
  6. Gotta go with Plate beating Blade, the Blade is much more limited in defence and offensively they're relatively the same, but the longer it drags on the more it favours the Blade.
  7. New dp! My attempt to make an inquisitor-type look with gimp :P

  8. Spike yourself with your own allomantic ability!
  9. This one's my favourite so far, I was just about to say the same thing but with shoes. Upvote for Lightflame! (Also, try to just edit your post, instead of double posting if you can.)
  10. Steelpush the switch for the kettle. Ironpull the lock to let people in. Put Brandon in a Bendalloy bubble so SA2 gets finished quicker (Not useless but it needs to be said as often as possible ) Soulcast flies instead of using a flyswatter. At easter just soulcast real eggs into chocolate instead of buying from the shops. Awaken a pen to 'do paperwork' Soulcast your name onto someone else's homework. Use Aon Tia to get things from the fridge. Soulcast something into fire instead of using a heater. Soulcast your shoes into ice, and perform a quarter-lashing on yourself, then skate wherever you need to go. (Actually that one sounds fun) When I read this one I just imagined a fledgling Allomancer accidentally pulling too hard and flinging a Labrador into some kids.
  11. Set up a spanreed in the next room so you don't have to bother talking.
  12. Inquisitor spikes can see through your measly closet!
  13. But we have cookies in the dark alleys, everyone loves cookies.
  14. You'd just be stealing the extra bit that gives them allomancy, not the whole of preservation, otherwise spiking a mistborn it should be possible to either get all of their abilities or one ability at 16x strength. Also yay for someone else voting Hemalurgy!
  15. More relevant quotes! (Actually just the one) So other people can receive breaths.
  16. Yes the planets were there before the shards, Brandon confirmed that they were named pre-shattering I think. I doubt they'd actually be able to soulcast the whole planet but I was talking more about the scope of it, a soulcaster could turn a whole army into statues, a windrunner could create a black hole with a reverse lashing or throw buildings around with multiple lashings.
  17. Yeah I don't think that it's likely that Brandon would remove the only limitation of surgebinders, if they didn't have to worry about conserving stormlight then they would be hugely destructive, they could soulcast the whole planet into flames.
  18. If you used a thin iron wire for the ironmind it could still work, that's one of my favourite twinborns, Iron feruchemy with tin allomancy. Human kite with enhanced senses=epic sentry
  19. I'd have to side with you there, I have a huge fear of dementia or anything like it. But I could probably deal with multiple-personality disorder, although I suppose you'd have to experience it to know for sure.
  20. Insanity is still better than death
  21. Yeah I remember that one, but it also counteracts the emotional allomancy weakness also it seems somewhat more humane to the person you just killed if their mind gets to live on If you had a group of twinborns who between them had all the allomantic and feruchemical abilities and they all agreed to join into one twinawesome with mental fortitude spikes they would all get to share the fun. But yeah 16 minds in one body= Certain insanity
  22. Not for the same ability, but if you non-lethally spiked a mistborn for say Chromium could you then spike them lethally for Nicrosil? Or one of the other attributes? Mental fortitude perhaps.
  23. I got Hemalurgically spiked and I have an invisible friend, he tells me to... Actually he says I'm not supposed to talk about that.
  24. It might do, depends how thick the plating is A bullet is only shot once so as long as it can stand that initial shot without losing the plating then it's good, but a gun is going to be firing over and over so it's subject to a lot more wear.
