  1. That will be quite the twist.
  2. Thinking out of my head the next possibility - Mraize asks Shallan to kill Jasnah. Boom!
  3. I dont know will this happen but that would be an absolutely epic scene written by Brandon. Just imagine Kaladin controlling the storms like a total badass.
  4. fixed)
  5. Part Two gonna be:
  6. Btw, i think by the end of the Part 2 we will get Kaladin/Jasnah/Elhokar team moving to Kholinar. Doubt Shallan will left Urithiru as well as Dalinar. Jasnah on other hand probably will defend the walls of Kholinar from Thunderclasts and Elhokar wanted to visit the city with Kaladin. Put 2+2= fabulous non-chalant scholar woman+savage angry soldier+hero wannabe soft guy trio gonna rock the Book 3.
  7. Brandon tends to surprise us so i can only guess there won't be some spark of sympathy between them at least in the beginning. It will range from "exchanging some simple words about the work" to "Shallan/Kaladin second meeting Jasnah Edition".
  8. Shalln gonna be left out i think. I see Kaladin new view on Parshendi problem conflicting with Dalinar's view on it. I think we need both their POV's to see how they will deal with this problem. Would be strange if we will get thoughts of Dalinar on Kaladin's matter, but not Kaladin's thoughts on Dalinar's matter. Plus Kaladin being left out also means Syl being left out and she is the most talkative sprean out of all that are bonded with Radiants. To not hear her for the 30+ chapters gonna be unbearable. p.s. i see Kaladin has ALOT stuff to witness to be excluded from the list of POVs. Amaram stuff, Dalinar stuff, Shallan stuff. I doubt Sanderson would skip his thoughts on all this conflicting stuff.
  9. I expected the last chapter to end with someone entering the room yelling "Stormblessed has returned", but it was "Yeah, i heard that bridge boy has returned". That was... refreshing. Kaladin's spren fan base grows everyday anyway. Syl, Yixli, glorysprens, hundred of windsprens. Who's next? Unmade? Dude can't catch a break.
  10. I stopped reading review here Its an extremely spoiler review id say. Not only author spoiled the return of Dalinar's memory, he also confirmed the conclusion of Dalinar's arc. While its pretty logical conclusion i dont want someone else to confirmed it like this. I suggest the site to tell everyone no to read it because i assume many peopel will share my experience. 17th shard review was much much much better.
  11. Dont know where to post this. Its about 17th shard review and Odium champion. Following quotes hit me: First quote means the thing we expected to happend much later will happen in this book. Well, most of us thought the fight against Odium Champion will happen somewhere in the 5th book or even later. But i think the last quote hide the following text:
  12. Im pretty sure it will be Kaladin. Nothing in shown Shallan and Dalinar parts 1 hints on their disappear in part 2. Kaladin line on other hand probably gonna end on "Oh shet" cliffhanger moment. Then we hear nothing about him in Part 2 and in Part 3 we see him... god knwo in what shape. Hope Voibringers wont hurt or change him.
  13. Ill take a guess and say that Oathbringer was written by multiple authors including Dalinar, Jasnah and maybe someone else.
  14. Yeah, i guess Dalinar arc was ended in the 28 chapter with bright solution to his politic arc. His Part 2 arc will start with his "remarkable showcase for the humankind leaders". Wouldnt be surprised if we will get the three Kaladin chapters in a row next week as an epic conclusion of the Part 1.
  15. Well, i guess, that the ending of Part 1 Shallan. I guess we will get the ending of the Part 1 Dalinar in the next chapter, and two chapters of Part 1 Kaladin.
  16. I guess its either it or one of the power cores of Urithiru. For some reason, maybe the size of the city, i doubt the single one pillar of gems is able to provide an energy to the whole city, especially if "Urithiru is the ancient spaceship" theory will be confirmed. I bet there will be another pillar or pillars found somewhere else.
  17. Didn't read the whole topic but here i need to say it - in before the spren bonded with Dalinar is Unmade. Not a theory just some crazy thoughts.
  18. Shallan and Adolin for a Roshar's Bonnie and Clyde? Its an interesting idea. Just imagine what happen if Adolin will realize no one gonna shame him or shed a tear about Sadeas, and he will decide to bring the justice in the Unithiru? He will start killing righ and left. Amaram, Ialai, some one else. And what if Shallan gonna tolerate him, at least in the beginning? I doubt that will actually happen but we are 27 chapters in and it doesnt seem Brandon gonna punish Adolin any soon. What if he want to spin his arc this way?
  19. Absolutely agree with opinions on this page. Dalinar made some pretty bad decisions which is pretty horrifying considering he is Bondsmith and Bondsmith's attribute is Guiding. I believe Brandon does it intentionally because Bondsmith's another attribute is Pious. Dalinar seems like an opposite person to pious. He is not very good Bondsmith is he?
  20. Eh, "Syl's words struck uncomfortably close to the truth" phrase didn't make me feel that Kaladin "almost like Shallan". Syl said he likes Shallan. "Close to the truth" make us interpret this statement as either "Kaladin less than likes Shallan" or "Kaladin more than likes Shallan". And i didn't get the impression that Kaladin less that liked Shallan after the chasm scene. I got an impression that he actually liked her, and Syl basically confirmed that with her statement. And that excludes the first option. For me this dialogue suggests that Kaladin not only definitely likes Shallan, but has towards her something more than that. That was the whole point of that conversation - to confirm and make readers sure Kaladin developed towards Shallan something more than just sympathy and friendly feelings.
  21. Kaladin is the only person besides probably Jasnah that doesnt buy Shallan's bs and tell her about this. At least that feeling i got from every thought and word he had watching Shallan and Adolin and later her alone. And im pretty sure Shallan got it so she didnt try to bs him, at least in private. I cant wait to see what Brandon has for their next meeting.
  22. I kinda doubt Sanderson wants Shallan to progress in the bad way. Ultimately he doesnt let his MC to do this. I think he has a "two books long" arcs planned for each of his main characters. Kaladin's main problems were solved during the TWoK and WoR. By the time of OB, we got his better and (for me) much more likable version. It doesnt mean there is no room left for him to progress further, but in OB he already started to deal with the secondary issues. The same with Dalinar. In TWoK and WoR we saw him successfully transforming into Dalinar Bondsmith from Dalinar BondBreaker. He still has job to do but ultimately he became much better person. OB left him to deal with his past, while his present self is more or less safe. The same will happen with Shallan, i believe. She didn't get much development during TWoK, but got a lot in WoR. She has a second book where the changes will happen. OB for her, i believe, is what the WoR was for Kaladin. I guess by the time of SA4 Shallan will deal with her mind problems. I highly doubt Sanderson wants to prolong her sanity-insanity arc for the next two books. It would be kinda boring and repetitive. Sanderson would most likely let her deal with secondary issues in SA4/5 and focus on Szeth and Jasnah main issues.
  23. At least now the only way i see the things may get worse is if Kaladin not knowing about Shallan's knowledges would lie to her about Helaran's death under the pressure of shame. I hope that won't happen since Kaladin is pretty honest guy, but everyone have their moments of sudden weakness. When it comes to possible outcome someone has already brought the overall possible arc between them in the main Shalladin thread. Shallan learned the truth, Kaladin will learn what she learned and decide to step back, then in this book or the next one under the certain circumstances they will hook together and get over it thus become either of close friends or couple. I guess here everything depends on their perception. Shallan may be fine having the Kaladin's child and knowing he murdered her brother or she may not be fine with it. Sometimes the logic can't help and only the subconscious matters.
  24. Woah, love this theory. Dalinar and Amaram greet each other, Shallan says "Bastard" because she hates Amaram, Dalinar tells her to leave, she does it gladly, and the scene of accepting Amaram the Highprince made her realize its not him she should hate but Kaladin instead. It comes in the form of Adolin. Then she prefer to leave Adolin to be alone. Why? Maybe she subconsciously want to break up with him so she tries to make him hurt her in her mind with these words? Maybe she wants to be alone? Following scene with a bunch of chaotic pictures add the element of insanity to the previous scene. I just imagine Shallan walking off the HQ room alone thinking about Amaram, Adolin, Kaladin and Helaran while drawing these insane pictures on the walk. Its really creepy. Now, im not trying to made up some Shaladin stuff, just playing with mysteries. I dont think this is true, but i think its very interesting and mindlowing theory.
