  1. The glasses work like a HUD, giving you important reminders about things you think of, and overlaying appointments in a calender in your vision. However to pull something up you have to remember it, so while your glasses will remember a piece of information about something, or a date, if you don't remember enough about it to trigger them with a keyword, they can't pull up the information for you. I want to awaken a pair of gloves with the command. "Mimic my hands, become dexterous and controlled remotely."
  2. For some reason (Probably rewatching the Cinema Snob episode on Shock Treatment), the chorus of "You need a little, oooooh, shock treatment" has now been replaced in my head with "You need a little, gooold compounding!" xD
  3. So, I've been re-reading the Annotations for Warbreaker on Brandon's site for the last couple of days, and something just jumped out at me... Brandon mentions in the annotation for chapter fifty five that Yesteel is "much better at sneaking than Vasher or Vivenna." This, combined with the fact that Vasher has worldhopped before coming to Roshar as Zahel, makes me wonder if the reason he came to Roshar, aside from simply having easy access to Stormlight, was to hunt Yesteel. If I remember correctly, he and Vivenna were headed after Yesteel at the end of Warbreaker, in the sequel Brandon will eventually get to writing, which clearly takes place before the events of Stormlight. I'm wondering if during that sequel, Yesteel flees Nalthis entirely, possibly to Roshar. He could be around somewhere, completely missed by us, since we (to the best of my recollection) have never had a description of his appearance/personality.... Though the appearance part is rather moot, since as a likely Returned as well, he'd be able to alter his appearance the way Vasher can. If I had to speculate, I might guess that during the events of Nightblood (I don't think Brandon has ever given another planned name for the sequel), it might be where we learn the precise method on how Nightblood was created, probably from Yesteel himself, telling it to Vivenna. This would explain how she came to create her own Shardblade, since I don't think Vasher, no matter how much he likes/trusts her, would give her the precise method for Awakening a sword like that, and probably wouldn't let her experiment/figure it out herself given the possible outcomes. Any thoughts to support/oppose any of this?
  4. Technically he nicknamed Rashek/The Lord Ruler as Lord Tyrant...
  5. Dayumn, didn't even need a second clue! ^^ Good guess!
  6. The glasses see things you do not, making you aware of details and things you would normally overlook. However, the command "Be like my eyes" means that they get tired like your eyes, and dry out. Unable to blink, you constantly have to gently spray them with water, or put them in their case to make them "blink" and rest them. I want to awaken a hoodie with the command. "Keep me cool in heat."
  7. Alrighty... This character isn't from a major Shardworld.
  8. Granted. However, you didn't wish to become a Sprenblade, so your bond has been broken, and you're left with someone swinging around your corpse by the feet as you scream into the mind of anyone who can hear it. I wish to be able to use Force Lightning.
  9. Hey everyone, just had an idea for a game that I think hasn't been done before... Basically it's the same as the Nightwatcher Boon/Bane game, but with Awakening. The first person picks an object and command, and the next person decides how the command will be interpreted, the effects etc, then gives their own object and command. For example - I want to awaken a sword with the command "Inflict emotional wounds only". The next person could decide to give the sword Allomancy when held/drawn, have it fuzz like a shardblade when it connects and then deaden the emotions of the enemy the way Vin's Duralimin Soothing did, or just have the sword become sentient like Nightblood, but insult the weilder to demoralise him. I hope you all like it I'll start us off! I want to awaken a pair of shoes with the command "Soothe my sore feet".
  10. Did not expect to be in a list like that, but I'll do my best to look this over when I get a chance ^-^
  11. Granted, but it has limitations. It's very easy to accidentally undo something without meaning to, there's no CTRL+Y to redo things, and it's very easy to accidentally undo more than you meant to. I wish I could copy and paste food in real life
  12. BING BING BING! I was wondering if anyone would get this one! Your turn!
  13. A master of THEIR magic ^^ And Szeth is around 35, if I remember correctly... This character is from Sel!
  14. Nope, nobody has it yet! This character has seen a master of their magic at work, and up close.
  15. Nope and nope! The character is old by normal human levels ^^
  16. Nope, nope and nope! This character is old ^^ And I'll give you another hint, one of those three guesses got the planet they're from correct.
  17. Alrighty... This character... Hmmm.... This character has lead people before.
  18. In Soviet Roshar, Spren bond YOU! Or alternatively, depending on how you look at it; In Soviet Roshar, YOU bond Spren!
  19. @Gancho Libre , glad you liked it! Haha, it sparked a quick little something from me while I was at work ~ Granted. However, this is what everyone calls you from now on, including yourself. You have to introduce yourself at parties and job interviews as BitKip, get business cards and driving licences with it as your name, and never even be allowed a nickname. Hopefully it won't wear on you! I wish I had 3D Maneouver Gear with an unlimited supply of gas.
  20. What's the weirdest, or most mundane thing the Nightwatcher has ever been asked for? The Boon/Bane thread recently had a request for a single jellybean and it's got me curious
  21. Hmmm.... I'mma go with Taravangeon ^^
  22. Ishar got it! ^^ Good guesses though, everyone!
