  1. From my experience, it does get harder later on, yes, but it depends a lot on how you play. I did try to dilute my experience points a bit by switching in multiple party members (still had the exp share on), and I didn't really choose team members to balance out my weaknesses, so maybe it will be different for you. I also tried not to use any items in important battles, which worked until the very last battle. I would not have gotten through that one without items (though partially because I missed some really important hits, but that's Stone Edge for you). There was one other reason why that particular battle was difficult for me: I only really lost once that I remember... but the reason was pretty hilarious Also, a potentially very important PSA about what happens after just beating the game (obvious spoilers, but I tried to avoid specific details): Time to do post-game stuff, breeding, and to fill out the Pokédex! Edit: Also, does anyone know what determines if a wild Pokémon that visits your Poké Pelago decides to stay? Because a shiny Lapras just showed up for me, and none of the earlier visitors seem to have stayed...
  2. Golden hair (or blonde, I guess?) is very common in Rira, where Adolin's and Renarin's mother is from. It's possible that Vedel has a connection to Rira, but I see no reason why she would have any specific connection to Dalinar's wife.
  3. Was there any doubt about this? We knew that (the Aons at the center of) Seons are splinters, and that Skaze are very similar to Seons. I mean, I don't know if it was ever confirmed, but... were there any other theories?
  4. Well, considering Hoid actually knew Frost from before the Shattering, I wouldn't find that very odd. I'm still leaning towards Frost not being a Vessel, but still.

    Aluminum

I think it has more to do with the fact that aluminium is very hard to come by, until certain technologies are invented, at which point it becomes very abundant. The Mistborn series was planned to span over generations, and we will (probably) get to see very different attitudes to aluminium over time. In the first trilogy, aluminium was very rare, even when you don't consider that TLR did not allow the knowledge of it to spread. In the W&W books, aluminium is known, and very, very valuable - because it is very rare, and very useful. In the next trilogy, assuming Scadrial's crust is anything like Earth's, aluminium will probably be very cheap in comparison - more expensive than on Earth, likely, because it has more uses, but still cheap.
  6. Here, probably? http://coppermind.net/wiki/Kwaan's_inscription
  7. If it was a translation issue, would the extra five days really help? I think it has to be something else... Since gen 6, Grass has some nice utility in being immune to powder moves (including rage powder), as well as Leech Seed since previous generations. But yeah, the type matchups aren't super great. Treecko is my favorite <3 I have never chosen the Water starter (since gen 2, where I used all three starters in one playthrough, two of them received through trades). Not because I have anything against Water starters... it's just the way things have turned out. This generation will not break the pattern, I'm afraid. #TeamRowlet all the way.
  8. I can't even get Sun until Wednesday, because Europe ;_; It's so weird though, I don't understand why the European date is five days after literally the rest of the world...
  9. @LeftVash, that's a pretty major spoiler for an unrelated book series.
  10. Nice to get some clarification on Mistings and bad alloys! That one's been nagging at me since someone (maybe it was you, Yata?) brought the problem up a while back.
  11. Plot twist: Everyone else is trying to do the same to you.
  12. Well, "commonly" in Scadrial's case is once every 1024 years... But yeah, I can't think of anything we've seen so far on Roshar that would compare. Maybe the Dawnshards? But are people using them, even if it's only once per millenium or whatever? Maybe it's something that only happens during Desolations? Yeah, I believe he has commented on this. I think he invented the name a long time ago, and then thought he'd have to change it, once Microsoft's thing came. Until the project was abandoned.
  13. The threads that have been started already are about information from previews that have been officially released.
  14. I think it still applies to Sel, since the shards and their magic are still there, and are still invested in the planet. I'm not sure if Roshar counts, since Odium has not invested there - he's just in the same solar system.
  15. You could argue the Shin own them now, as long as the original owners don't want them back.
  16. Well, if it was Nale, then taking any other Blade would be stealing, wouldn't it?
  17. Ah, ok. Then it's just my definition that's wrong.
  18. I doubt the Shin as a people would the descendants of the Skybreakers, since they are an ethnicity, and there weren't even that many Skybreakers to begin with. The Skybreakers could have been the core that started the Stone Shamans or something like that, but yeah, it's just a theory.
  19. Really? I thought Mistborn was closer to 10000 years after the Shattering, and it would be ~1024 years between cycles.
  20. Depends on your definition, I guess. "Normal" energy is added to the universe through Awakening, because it makes things move. Then again, Feruchemy has been stated to be end-neutral, and it can add or remove energy, so maybe it's just my definition that's wrong.
  21. I found this on tumblr yesterday and I am still smiling
  22. Hm... I don't see why a potential remnant of a bond would stay if the spren died first... The other way around, yes, because a spren isn't really dead, but... I think the bond breaks if the human dies. That's how the bonds to deadblades and honorblades seem to work, anyway. Regardless, I found this WoB, which I don't think is the same one I've seen before on the subject (the other one just said it would be difficult, I believe): So the "most cases" doesn't rule out that it could be done in Adolin's case, but it seems like for most spren, it's just flat out not possible.
