  1. I don't think he ever switched, but he did use both. (Except when going back to the Homeland, then he hid OreSeur's spikes outside.) I'm pretty sure there is a WoB on that subject already, or maybe even a quote from the books, but I can't find it.
  2. Yeah, it could be Adonalsium's pool. Adonalsium did create the place, after all.
  3. Pretty sure this is just because the body would get used to the constant healing (it was about gold compounding, right?), meaning it couldn't sustain itself on 'normal' healing anymore. Also, we know that Inquisitors reused spikes. Kandra could be different though. Their spikes help them think, which doesn't seem to be the case for Inquisitors (or indeed humans). Inquisitor spikes don't have the same attributes as blessings either, for the particular case you mentioned. I think if you spiked a mistwraith, you could use any blessings, but that you can't switch blessings once they've started getting sentient. At least not without making them feel very uncomfortable. It might be like trying to squeeze round thoughts through a square hole, so to speak.
  4. I'm not sure the "He was born as one" refers to the "he's functionally immortal". One uses the adjective "immortal", the other refers back to a noun. I think it's more likely that part of the question got cut/not recorded. Something about how he became a dragon, or something. I dunno. Edit: found the transcript of the audio recording: So yeah, the Theoryland version is a bit confusing.
  5. Yes. When summoned, it forms vines before snapping into physical form. I think we know too little about the Edgedancers to say if Adolin fits or not. The only one we've seen is Lift, and she might be a very odd Edgedancer by all accounts.
  6. I think the formatting broke down a bit. The question about burned out eyes is in there twice, for example, but with an answer to a different question the second time.
  7. I thought most of them were okay... As others have said, I think Dalinar should be more powerfully built, and it would be odd for Jasnah to not have epicanthic folds if both her mother and uncle do (of course, it would be weird if she didn't have them regardless, but at least I understand their reasoning for (some) Jah Kavedians not to have them).
  8. Mistborn spoilers: I do agree that it isn't proof though. Very interesting, but... I don't see what Adolin could have done in particular to start a Shardblade revival...
  9. We don't know what Renarin has experienced. Like Adolin, he lost his mother. He also doesn't fit into the role his society expects him to fill. There could be a multitude of things in his life that could be considered "traumatic experiences".
  10. Just remember to exclude atium
  11. Yeah, I think this is a big part of the Cosmere - showing what can happen when certain parts of God are isolated. Anger, and even hatred, can be good, and useful - but only with the proper context.
  12. I don't remember. I mean, the vast majority of it comes from crem, so there might not be THAT much variation. I'd like for it to be, though.
  13. I like this. I'm having a hard time imagining (eastern) Roshar as anything other than a dull gray. But that's not true - there are lots of plants, and not all stones are gray.
  14. Like Yata says, Nightblood has been compared to other splinters by Brandon. I think it might be a little more complicated, since Nightblood seems to be a bunch of Investure connected to a physical object (would Nightblood, or its mind, still exist if the blade itself disappeared?), and not just sentient Investiture. (Cosmere spoilers) So the short answer is yes, Nightblood is a splinter. The slightly longer answer is still yes, but it might be a little bit more complicated than that.
  15. Cosmere theories is Cosmere-wide too. It tends to contain things other than theories quite often.
  16. I think Brandon recently RAFO'd a question about whether or not Adolin was "broken enough" to become a Radiant. So we don't really know that yet. He HAS lost his mother, and we don't know that much of his past other than that. I kind of would prefer if Adolin didn't become a knight as well, but I think Dustbringer would be my first choice if he did. Mostly because it's one of the orders we know least about. Or Edgedancer, if it involves reviving his sword. Adolin having Lift as a teacher would be hilarious. Maybe Adolin could become Shallan's squire! That would give him some (unknown) powers, possibly. He'd be kind of like a WoT warder, I guess.
  17. Weeeell... It's generally a good idea to put huge lists of images in spoiler tags, so they don't take up so much space for people who want to scroll past them. Otherwise, there is nothing wrong with pug pictures.
  18. She could base her research on second-hand accounts, but she'd probably only do that if the planet was inaccessible, which it doesn't seem like it is.
  19. I guess, but I preeetty much consider WoBs canon, unless contradicting the actual books (or later WoBs, as in this case).
  20. This has been retconned (Secret History spoilers):
  21. It's also a plant!
  22. I was thinking about something just today - when Taln (or the-person-who-thinks-he's-Taln, to use his full name) returns, he's speaking perfect Alethi. Languages must change a lot between Desolations - I'm pretty sure the Heralds can use Connection translation. (Now that I think about it, I may have seen someone else write something about that, but I don't remember where)
  23. This post is much funnier if you read the "me" as meaning "my".
  24. We know he has Yolish Lightweaving (which is different from the Rosharan Lightweaving, but can produce some of the same effects). Other than that, I don't think we know much (except maybe some things that have appeared in early unpublished books Brandon wrote, that aren't necessarily canon anymore).
