  1. The fish sticks comment is a trick to weed out the uninformed. It is absolutely imperative that you give Brandon fish sticks. One per book you want signed. Trust me
  2. Woah. This is... wow. I never noticed this before, but it does seem that Honor is asking Dalinar to unite all the worlds against Odium. If this is true, it would be the most amazing story ever. Do you think the later Oaths of the order of the Bondsmiths could hint toward this? Could this be a hint that Dalinar will be the character to have an effect beyond the Greater Roshar area?
  3. If I were adapting TFE, I think I would have to cut out most everything with Camon in the beginning. Vin scamming the nobleman in the beginning would be cut as well, Soothing him, etc. I'd also get rid of Kelsier's interaction with the skaa before he attacks the nobleman's house. Most of Mistborn training, except for the first time, would probably have to be removed. I think that either most everything that takes place in Club's shop or Renoux's mansion would be removed, just doing scenes from one of them. Vin's pewter drag would have to be taken out as well. Kelsier visiting the skaa rebellion would have to be removed, maybe even the entire skaa rebellion, as they become much less useful after they are destroyed. Instead of that whole scene, maybe it could just show Ham and Kelsier seeding a few rebellious groups among the skaa to prepare for the uprising. I know it would take away from the story as a whole, but I feel that when there are too many plots in a movie it gets hard to keep track of them all. With all of this gone, more attention could be put to character development, with the balls and meetings of the crew. Spook, Sazed, Breeze, and the rest could get more screentime. The action scenes could be given full attention, without cutting them shorter. But that's just the ideas of a guy who's never even thought about adapting a movie before. *shrug*
  4. Hoid's knowledge and power. That way, I can travel wherever I want in the Cosmere and still interact with people, and not worry about being attacked by other Shards (lookin' at you, Odium!) Would you rather visit the Purelake or Shinovar?
  5. It's also likely that Ym was not far enough along in his oaths and use of his powers to be able to heal a Shardblade would. Additionally, I think the blade pierced his spine, which is basically an insta-kill, Radiant or not.
  6. For some reason, when I write sentences, I tend to combine words. For instance, when writing (not typing) "the ear" I would write "thear". I think it's just that I think faster than I write. Additionally, when I'm translating sentences from another language (latin), I will translate a word in my head but write it down untranslated. I'll read "quis" think "who" and write "quis". I'm a smart
  7. All we know is that Lift knew her mother at least long enough for her mother to tell her that she was Reshi.
  8. But that takes effort. And requires me to be wearing a shirt.
  9. In real life, I'm a kind of physical person. Not painful or anything, I just give a lot of little fake punches to people, put my arm around them, that kind of thing. I also tend to talk with a lot of contractions, and text using them as well. It's weird, I'll text with correct grammar, spelling, capitaliziation, but in my texts I'll use y'all, y'know, kinda, things like that.
  10. I like this idea a lot. Instead of donating your organs to science, you can carry something that lets emergency responders know that if you are fatally injured, you have Metallic powers that you are willing to pass on to someone else. While it does seem a little bit brutal, as the person still needs to be alive in order to have their powers spiked out, I would imagine the in-universe equivalent of morphine or a similar painkiller would be administered before the spiking.
  11. Doorknobs are my worst enemy in this regard.
  12. It's so shocking too. One minute, I'm peacefully walking, listening to music, then bam! A sudden pop and abscense of noise. Makes me jump.
  13. That magical attraction between my headphones cord and literally anything it can catch on to for the sole purpose of being pulled out of my ear.
  14. Do we know if a savant would stay longer than, say, a Misting? Because it could be related to the "channels" that Investiture wears in a person's soul over time and use.
  15. I thought it was just called Oathbringer because that was the name of Dalinar's old Shardblade?
  16. Vampires sound funnier, I guess?
  17. That's not exactly what I meant. It was just a joke that introverted people get energy from being alone, and extroverts get energy from being around people, so when an extrovert is around an introvert they gain energy while the other loses it. Wow, explaining it makes it sound a lot less funny
  18. Extroverts who are friends with introverts are energy vampires. (Random thought brought to you by weird friend-group conversations)
  19. I was going to edit a batman mask over TwiLyght's profile image, but sadly my iPad turns transparent backgrounds white.
  20. Oh, okay. I've seen that. I guess I'll watch it again, though, it'll still be fun!
  21. Is this one of the ones that leaked? Because I think I watched those already.
  22. Finished bingeing every episode of Steven Universe so far. I really love a lot of these cartoons that end up actually having some great messages. And awesome action. And feels.
