Just a notification for an upvote. Well, thank you, I guess that answers it!

It's kind of a common thing for me to accidentally hit the downvote button instead of the upvote button. I'm on a small touchscreen most of the time, so that's probably the cause. My question: if I downvote a post, and then quickly change and upvote it, does the person get a notification?

Well, casting came in. While I think I had a good audition, I was placed in the ensemble. Which isn't bad! It's just a little bit frustrating because it seems the person who got the role I was trying for only got it because they are a senior and it's their last performance. Oh well, it'll be a fun musical and maybe I'll get a better role next year!

Thanks, bleeder. I think it went well! I totally forgot the first lines of the song when they began the accompaniment, but it came back to me by the time I had to sing. Overall, I think it went about as well as it could have, so that's good!

Well, I'm about to go for an audition for my school musical. I'm fairly sure that I will be put on the ensemble, but still... the brain weasels and stomach-upsetting weasels have combined forces. Ah well, auditions are always hard.

Well, I expect the Identity of the ship would change, but not very much. If you built a second ship out of the original parts, it would be different, as it no longer is thought of or thinks of itself as part of the original ship.

I would assume that it's simply because it is much harder to create an Allomantic medallion than a normal one. In order to create an Allomantic medallion, wouldn't you need to be a Twinborn with Feruchemical nicrosil and whatever Allomantic power you will be storing?

What, exactly, are you referring to? I know of the ship of Theseus, but what is the thing that is being replaced in your question?

Based on the similar thread about adapting Mistborn: TFE to a movie, I ask: if you were in charge of turning the Stormlight Archive into a movie, how would you go about doing it? What would receive more screentime? What, more importantly, would you have to get rid of? But that's just my thoughts. What are yours?

I'm a Ferring! Woohoo, Metallic Arts! But what kind of a Ferring am I? I'd like to be a Steelrunner... but a brute would be fun as well, hm, a sparker or an archivist would be very useful... but a sentry would be amazing as well... I don't know.

My crazy little pet idea began in a dream. In the dream, my Latin teacher (for some odd reason, dreams are weird) taught me how to "push" through solid objects. Essentially intangiblility, but only in one direction, like I could push my fingers into a wall and then pull myself up it. It felt like pushing on some sort of thin shell over a thick, viscous substance, as if pushing a piece of ceramic into jelly, if that simile makes any sense. That dream stuck with me, and I kept expanding upon it in my mind. Imagining pushing more than just my fingertips into solid matter, even pushing my whole body through it. It would not be the same as intangibility, because pushing through stuff would take more strength, I guess. (I'm going somewhere with this, I promise.) Then, I had a really weird idea. What if I pushed against thin air, and felt the barrier of the very dimension? So it developed into a multiverse idea. Now the multiverse idea I have a little bit more of a plan on. It gradually developed into a sort of story in my mind, a character who discovered this power somehow (probably not crazy Latin teacher dreams) and accidentally fell into the space between alternate realities. This, I imagined as an endless field of white, where anything that entered it was in a sort of suspended state (not needing to breathe, eat, drink, etc.) however, I also had the weird idea that this endless space, while still white, was an abscense of light, and appeared dim when viewed from an outside world. I have no idea where I was going with this, but it's been in my head for months. *shrug*

What... is your name? What... is your quest? And what... is the average flight speed of an unladen swallow?

Can Nightblood feed off of the Investiture of the things it kills? For instance, taking the Breath from Lifeless? Because if it can do that, the power requirement is a lot less important in a large scale battle. Effectively, it would become more dangerous the longer it is used and the more people it kills.
