    Unless you're a smoker and you're used to that feeling. Edit: Also isn't it described more as a comforting warmth in the stomach than a fiery burning? So more like how a good Whiskey warms you than horrible gas pains/heartburn. I would assume if it were really uncomfortable or painful it would hamper allomancers in some way.

    Not saying it would be dust persay...more of very fine metal powder bonded with some sort of liquid mist, much like how an inhaler works presently (of course without the metal). I know it would be harmful in the long run, but only if the metal weren't burned off right away, which in this case it would be as we're talking about some sort of emergency delivery system.

    Regular spren, probably wouldn't work on because of the bond. The spren that the Parshendi "bond" with? Now I can see that working as the Parshendi don't really have to uphold any oaths or anything.

    Yeah you guys don't forget all the character development away from a hemalurgic leaning in HoA. I don't know if Brandon would really go through all the trouble of souring Spook on hemalurgy just to bring him around years later for no apparent reason.

    So that brings up another question: Is it known if the titles of the SA volumes always mirror the name of an in world book, or can it just be a line or phrase taken from one of said books, i.e. Stones Unhallowed coming from WoR?

    It's pretty commonly accepted that the letters are a correspondence and only one was written by Hoid. As for why the Seventeenth Shard is after him there are multiple discussions pertaining to theories but no real answers from any official source as of yet.

    So if indeed you can burn metal from anywhere in your body, it might be cool to see some sort of inhaler like asthmatics use with very very very fine metal powder in them during the modern era novels. That might be pretty good in a pinch for those dangerous metals. Once you burn them off they wouldn't stick around to mess up your lungs anyway.

    So if a blade s a dead (comatose) spren's physical form, wouldn't it stand to reason that you could go to the cognitive realm and find the comatose spren there as well? Not sure how you would go about bringing it back from there, the idea just tickled my little grey cells.
