This book has left me so satisfied. Thank you again Brandon and I can't wait to see how crazy it gets next.

I have a weird hunch that if Adonalsium was a "being" as Khriss surmises, perhaps Hoid had some sort of relationship with/to it/him/her. Even if it's that of devoted follower. I could see this playing into him having an agenda outside of shard against shard as he sees what the original holders did as killing his loved one. Anyone remember Hoid stating in the Stormlight Archive that he wants what he could never have? Maybe that's getting Adonalsium back the way he/she/it was before being murdered...

Anyone else notice a certain similarity between the mechanics behind the language medallions and Forging on Sel? I.E. rewriting an object/person's past in the cognitive realm? Discuss.

So my reaction. Is that..no it can't...omg I can't...did they really...oh crap its...bu...wha...ARE WE REALLY GETTING THIS MUCH INFORMATION???!!! ZOOOOMMMGGGG!!!! And that about sums it up. So, so good.

I thought these took place after the first 5 stormlight books? That means that there are still 5 more to go and I'm not sure if Odium will be defeated half way through...

So finished Bands and am part of the way through Secret History and all I can say is WOW. Even being the penultimate book in this era I feel this one will be tough to beat (but of course if anyone can do it Brandon can). I think it may be one of my all time favorites. Of course that may just be because of all the answers to long standing theories and questions. So from here it seems like every book will be my favorite. And from what I've read so far of Secret History it just keeps getting better and better. ANSWEEERRRRSSSS

Yeah I bought the Kindle version. Perhaps the physical copy you can't do that. Not really sure why they would have that rule.

I pre-ordered mine with gift card money...

Yeah that's pretty acceptable. I know at some point it gets all weird and you would end up with thread titles like "That thing about the thing" and no one would be able to keep track of anything. I've been a mod on a few forums and I know that especially at times like these it's a nasty thankless job (usually for no pay ) and requires CONSTANT VIGILANCE! Thanks for taking the time to listen.

Yeah I can see how it would be a hard tightrope to walk. I mean even if there's a hint of Roshar/Stormlight/Worldhopping shenanigans in the books, I'm one of those people that doesn't even want to know that, even though I know eventually these books will all tie together and cross over. I just don't want to know when before hand. Hope that makes sense, and thanks for being understanding.

I guess maybe what might be at the root of it is not knowing if these are just speculation on connections or actual central spoilers. There was one mentioning Threnody, one talking about Stormlight connections...maybe if they are just theories a new rule could be put in place to label them as such? I didn't know I could close that feed so that will help, I just know there are probably others who might not catch that. Sorry, don't mean to be kvetchy on this it just kinda bugged me.

I just gotta say, I know there is a professed no spoiler in thread titles policy right now, but it seems like it isn't being enforced. I'm seeing an awful lot of thread titles in the recent topics blurb over on the side that have the spoiler tag, but then proceed to mention some pretty spoileriffic things from Bands or Secret History. As I have not finished Bands yet and haven't even been able to start Secret History, I'm a little put off. Sorry, don't mean to gripe it's just kinda been turning me off from wanting to come to the site to check out other stuff.

Unfortunately not true. My Kindle version of Bands arrived at around 9 PM Pacific last night. Still no Secret History.
