  1. Answer to the first question I think would be yes. Second one I think you would remain an Elantrian as the Shaod is a one time event, not an ongoing process. In the book Raoden figured out that the reason the Reod did what it did was that in the instant that the Shaod took someone, they became trapped in that moment as the Dor had no way of completing the transformation.
  2. Isn't part of Ruin represented by a room full of black mist already?
  3. Yeah, from my own experience some of the best lessons you learn from your parents are the ones that you don't ever really talk to them about.
  4. Ah parents. They love us, but they also LOVE US.
  5. I understand the Forescout reputation...it just looked like something else at first.
  6. It's about info dumping and making people squeeeeee.
  7. Me likey. Have an upvote.
  8. Eventually if this keeps up Wayne's going to mention reading this crazy book about a world where people can give life to inanimate objects and come back from the dead as investiture vampires. Sanderception.
  9. [Rob Schneider voice] You can do eet! [/Rob Schneider voice] But seriously, everything you've posted so far has given me nothing but good vibes about the whole situation. Having been in the position of the people looking to hire you I can tell you that no answer on that last correspondence is not really a bad thing. I know it's scary stepping out and doing something big and new, but it will be all the more worth it when you look back in a few months and think, "Did all of this really work out this well? Amazing."
  10. When you hang out on the 17th Shard forums too much during down time at work... Yeah I should probably find something constructive to do but I work for the County so...
  11. I'm never one to pass up the obvious.
  12. If trees could scream, would we be so cavalier about cutting them down? We might, if they screamed all the time, for no good reason.
  13. Well, technically if you make a promise to kill a man and then never go against that promise, working to fulfill it you would remain within the bounds of honor. If you see it in your minds eye as upholding your honor to get revenge on someone you see as evil. Yeah it's all pretty subjective if you think about it.
  14. Is that a banana in your drawer or are you just happy to see me?
  15. So no one really got this was a play on a Martin Luther King Jr. quote? Are we suggesting there should be a civil rights movement in Alethkar? I say yes.
  16. Some call you...Tim.
  17. I think everyone's on the same page here. We should really bring this up with Peter next time he's around and see if there's some way to enact stricter quality control on these blubs...
  18. On the whole, most connections to a beardspren take lots of time and honestly not everyone can form the bond. I have heard that consistently exposing your beardspren to a razorspren forces it to utilize it's regenerative properties and strengthens it immensely, however this could be lore that was created by the razorspren to trick us into hurting the beardspren.
  19. Yes and yes. BTW if you haven't read The Great Divorce you should pick it up.
  20. San Tropez man. San Tropez.
  21. Mostly male. There are only a small amount of females.
  22. I don't know I feel they're two different intents. Honor is about pacts and binding, keeping your word. Mercy is more about compassion and forgiveness.
