Thanks for the correction, have an upvote! It appears the Coppermind is outdated then.

[OB] The Evil Spren

How would it get into Urithiru though? Wasn't it protected against Voidbringers and such. So Barry would have been unable to get in, unless Urithirus defense has been broken. -
Highprince Adolin is going to have trouble negotiating with Highprince Bastard, just saying.

[OB] The Evil Spren

@Seeker861 Excellent point. I'll see Barry = Midnight Essence as the second most plausible after Unmade. @Steeldancer I picked a name that didn't sound Unmade-y, without a thought about Barry Allen :-D -
@Patrick Star You have a good point about the spren and changing appearances. WHen it comes to the other ones, I was mostly trying to suggest ways that the other Unmade could fit with my idea. But yeah, I admit that it isn't very likely. @The Invested Beard That is a truly minor character! I kind of like Abrobadar (one of the Shardbearers in the 4v1 fight) a bit, because he had a nice name.

Mystery Project in Sanderson's Status Bar

Where is it hinted? Reddit? The biggest question for me is why he removed Apocalypse Guard for it. Why not just throw away one of the finished ones? -
I don't find that wierd, considering that some of my favorite characters are either hated by the majority of the community, or has very little screen-time.

So, we found out who the copy-cat killer is. It is Barry the Evil Spren (that is what I will call him until we get an official name)! There is a whole bunch of questions to be asked though: 1. Is Barry a random evil spren, or an Unmade? 2. Can it do something other than copycat-hurting others? What is its purpose? I have a feeling that the attacks are a side-effect and that Barrys main function is something else, probably something that storms up the magic in Urithiru (maybe allows Voidbringers or other Odiumspren to get in?) 3. Why did it watch Shallans theatre? Seems strange. Let's discuss!
-
I have been considering something similar myself, so I can just as well voice it now: what if each Unmade is connected to a Radiant order, power-wise. The copy-cat one (if it is an Unmade, which I believe) can change appearance, or create an Illusion, which would be similar to Shallans power. It might be able to meddle with her illusions as well. If this is true, I would bet that Yelig-Nar has Division (he broke into a room somewhere and killed a bunch of people, Division fits that) and Re-Shepir, who gives birth to Midnight Essence has corrupted Soulcasting, or corrupted Regrowth. Moelach and Nergaoul doesn't really fit with all this though, but I figure it's worth posting anyway.

I don't think she is Liss. Why is everybody suspecting that every character who shows up is Liss? Didn't we have guesses on Malata being Liss as well? I have nothing against it, I just don't get why Liss would show up disguised as other people. It is possible that she is a Herald, but not Ash. Shallan would have commented on her beauty if that was the case. If she is anyone, I would bet on Vedel, but I don't find that likely either. I think she is a normal woman who seeks the power and protection of the Ghostbloods in uncertain times. I also think that she will have a role, and show up again. Having an enthusiastic new Ghostbloods-recruit to work with would make Shallans story even more interesting than it already is.

This is the fun thing about Malata: everyone seems to be reading her differently. Excited to see what is going on.

The Thrill one probably moves (it's name is Nergaoul by the way). Moelach moves as well, with the Death Rattles. Yelig-nar is capable of moving as well, but we don't know if it does that all the time. My point is that Odium probably waited for the right time to kick off a new Desolation, and laid low and prepared in silence in the meantime, which means that the Unmade probably were stuffed away waiting to be used somewhere. Remember, most of these ar single-minded, dull creatures. Moelach didn't start summoning Death Rattles until just recently (when Gavilar found the Parshendi, accoording to Coppermind), so it probably chilled out somewhere else too. In the thousand years of silence between Desolations, Odium wouldn't have much use for an Unmade that killed people, so he put it on stand-by in a place where it would be useful later on: Urithiru. It wasn't a waste, since he didn't need it for something else during that time.

We know that one of them move around. There are seven others uncounted for. I guess Odium placed it there to inconvenience humanity if they ever decided to return to Urithiru.

Entertainment Reviews(and Debate)

I agree, the mirroring is the worst part of TFA by a long shot. Also, RotJ Luke is still pretty boring, in my opinion. He has always felt bland to me. Looks like Last Jedi is gonna change that though. Disney buying Star Wars was probably the best thing that could have happened. -
They are supposed to be non-sentient (most of them are pretty non-sentient), as well as creepy, and most likely with various skill-sets and functions. They are not like the Forsaken in WoT or the Death Eaters in HP. Unmade are more... wierd. This seems to fit all those boxes. I think it can do more than just copy-cat hurting others as well, but that is its main function now.
-
So, Shallan has some seriously wierd drawings, which she has no memory of doing, featuring an endless void (notice the word void here) and horses and other nightmarish R-rated stuff. Did she make these herself? Or is it the Unmade/Voidspren? Or just her mind playing tricks on her? I am completely lost.
-
They do choose who they bond, yeah. But I feel like they have a pasture where lighteyes can go and attempt to attract one. Adolin knew that he was about to try bond a Ryshadium before he did it, so I do think they have a place where they breed Ryshadium. Elhokar probably tried, and failed, to bond one.
-
Good point there. I missed that one completely. Too busy looking for hidden agendas :-)

I'll keep on my blasphemous behavior. As I said, Kylo Ren alone makes the story of TFA more interesting than 4&5. I also find Rey more enjoyable than Luke, and I like Poe and Finn too (they can't beat Han though). And then, it is pretty too. -
Anyone who has any ideas about Malata now? She calls Shallan sister, and seems genuinely interested in the Radiants, but she doesn't seem to be too fond of the Alethi leadership, or trust them when it comes to the Desolation. She smells power-hungry to me.
-
If I were to guess, there are different kinds of Ryshadium. There seems to be a place where you can bond Ryshadium, and so I guess that humans have a bunch ready to be bonded in a pasture somewhere. I suspect that the free Ryshadium are the only ones to attract musicspren, and that it is indeed based off on the Rythms.
