  1. All three are phenomenal when it comes to using a-Steel, but who is the best? Wax, the Lawman? Vin, the Ascendant Warrior? Or Kelsier, the Survivor?
  2. That is when it is time to start hyping Ant-Man, Fantastic Beasts, Aquaman, Game of Thrones and the Peter Jackson produced fantasy movie about cities that move (based on a book by Philip Reeve?) which name I have forgotten. You will have Infinity War around the same time as Star Wars too.
  3. Only two left? Huh. Thought it would be three.
  4. Nice! I'm not that jealous though. Im happy to get the last three chapters on tuesday, and then go get the book the 14th, and read while eating candy. Its always good to have something to look forward too (after OB its Star Wars, then its Black Panther... this is why nerds like us are happy).
  5. I am catholic, and while you are probably correct about the fact that the Bible has wierd stuff in it, Jesus himself never allowed murders of any kind, and his sentiments are the deciding factor in what catholics believe. You do however make a very good point about that humans read holy texts with the goal of making them fit their own lines of thought. And it is also true that some things (the abortion issue for example) has been decided by church leaders, and not by God. That said, those leaders have tried to do what they think fits with what Jesus would have wanted. So the goal is to have morality madeby God, but humans are humans, and thus open to fail.
  6. I usually start to like characters for silly reasons, like names or the fact that they look cool. I think Amaram has a nice name, but I also like him because I find him interesting, with his willingness to sacrifice a lot in order to accomplish his goal. I have symphaty for him because of how he regrets having to do what he does, and I also like him because I feel that he tries to be good when his commitment to the Sons of Honor doesn't stop him. In addition, he has the potential to be a badass. Also, defending him all the time gives me an attatchment to him.
  7. Huh, no Apocalypse Guard. I guess Mystery Project is something for that publisher then. I am interested in AG, but not so much that this bothers me. Like @Ammanas says, if this gets us closer to Mistborn I'm good. We should consider that he might want to try again after Mystery Project, and so there is a risk that this will actually push up the timetable. Fingers crossed that this is Death by Pizza! I can see the point here. The Calamity ending felt a bit unclear and very rushed.
  8. Good idea. Though the Batman voice isn't really scary, which is why I don't like it. But it could work.
  9. He has a fan (me). I want to see if there are any others out there, so that we can unite around our Amaram love. Great post! I agree.
  10. With the curse of never being able to stop taunting others.
  11. I doubt the Nightwatcher has anything to do with his inability to cause harm. I feel like that is something that has to do with the Shattering and his origin on Yolen. That said, he might have gone to the Nightwatcher for something else.
  12. So the third one (Disk Dude, as named on Discord), is the third uberspren? Heard it before, and it does sound likely. I doubt it is a Herald (adding just one into that mix wouldn't make sense). I dont thinn its Odium either. Good job!
  13. A place for all Amaram fans to gather and discuss Amaram and his awesomeness. I wonder if there will ever be another member...
  14. @Leyrann is most likely correct. I don't know if it is outright confirmed, but Cultivation and Honor teamworking to create the Radiants is more or less seen as a fact by people on here.
  15. Yesssss.... liessssss.... also, I'm pretty much Patterns brother now! Yesss!
  16. This kind of deserves to be necroed, cause it shouldn't be dead in the first place.
  17. I heard that it is one of the largest fantasy books ever.
  18. Is this your real-life little brother? No matter whose brother @Lopen'sMissingArm is, I'm going to wish him a happy stay.
  19. Welcome! Have upvotes on the house! I like that username!
  20. I just wanted to point out that Amaram and T being bad is hard to argue for morality-wise, since their views are so differebt from ours. I'm glad you have religion.
  21. I'd say that the god you talk about would be evil, if he thought that rape and torture were okay things to do. Fortunately I (and most other religious people) doesn't believe in a God like that. And yes, God decide stuff. He is not democratic. Why? Well, because he is omnipotent and knows what is best for us.
  22. @hoser What you need to do is to up and downvote them constantly, and mention them in random threads to irritate them. After a few hours, they will feel tortured.
  23. This is what I hope. Unfortunately, I am a bit of a pessimist on these kinds of topics, but the non-pessimistic part agrees. The thing is that T and Amaram (especially T) considers their view of the world to be right. That was quite clear in the hanging hogmen discussion in this weeks Dalinar chapter. I don't think you can call T a worse person than Dalinar based on this. They both do what they think is right, and the fact that we happen to agree with Dalinar doesn't make T a worse person. I respectfully disagree. I am religious, and I am very sure about that I would be a worse person than I am now if I hadn't been religious.
  24. @The Invested Beard Thank you for spreading the awesomeness of Pringles and defending them from Peters lies.
