  1. I have been watching The 100 recently and think Bob Morley would make a great Moash. Also, Kaladin, Kekua Kekomano. He plays young Aquaman in Aquaman. He pretty much looks exactly like Kal, and is the right age. And for Dalinar, Temuera Morrison. The ultimate movie dad: he plays the father of Boba Fett, Moana and Aquaman. I also think Oscar Isaac would be a really great Kabsal.
  2. I will do you one better, why is Obrodai?
  3. I think he generally does four or five. The final ones usually go quite quickly. First draft is the slow one, and after that things get sped up. Also, for Stormlight I think he does first and second drafts at the same time. When he finishes one part he sends it to his editor, and then the editor sends it back, and Brandon edits it. So second draft is already partially done (someone correct me if I got this wrong).
  4. The horse girls name is Jenet. Hope Brandon brings her back. I am not much for shipping, but my two cents is that Kaladin and Jasnah would annoy me, but Kaladin and Rysn sounds fun.
  5. Kaladin is not turning down a dark path. Here is a WoB, which I put in a spoiler tag because it spoils the ending of Game of Thrones:

  9. I hate the outlining bar. I always see Stormlight on 90 percent and get incredibly happy, and sees that its not the first draft bar...
  10. Pretty sure it was Elariel. Shan was from that family.
  11. I thought about that too. Rust sounds scadrian.

  13. I just appreciate this guy. He is one of the commanders in Dalinars army, and a shardbearer. He has a cool name as well. I hope he gets something to do in SA4.
  14. Some Ghostblood stuff. Mraize should get something to do. Its about time. I want to see Chana and Ishar. Nale being a badass, and interacting with Moash. Taln growing sane.
  15. I am in the moral wierd zone where I see very few people, if anyone, as evil. Sadeas is the worst person in SA so far, in my opinion, but is he evil? No. He is selfless in certain things (how he protected Gavilar during Szeths attack is one of the bravest actions in the series in my opinion). But he does a chull ton of evil actions. Human beings are complex, so you cant narrow them down to evil. There is always a good side to all persons, and that cant be disregarded. Actions cant be valued like that. If you kill one guy but save another, are you good or bad? I’d say neither. So by that standard, no one is irredeemable, because there is always some fraction of good in everyone. And people change. People grow. I have done things I deeply regret, but I have learned from those, and wont do them again. Dalinar is the same. He has faced his crimes, and atones for his sins. This is why OB is such a powerful book, and why Dalinars arc is so fantastic: because it beautifully deals with redemption, and showcases that the most important step a man can take is the next one.
  16. They are on Vax.
  17. Moelach feels like the Unmade who was last in the line when Odium was giving them Evil Tasks. And so Odium gave him ”make people say creepy rust when they die” since that was what was left. Seriously though, what Cal said.
  18. The fact that Danlan hangs out with Graves points toward her being with the Diagram, but what if she is a Ghostblood. Think about it: 1. Danlan attracts Adolins attention the day after arriving in the warcamps, and he immediately makes her a scribe. She then keeps courting him for a while, probably to prove her worth as a scribe for Dalinar. When she has made herself valuable, she makes sure that Adolin stops courting her. Granted, this only proves that Danlan wants to be Dalinars scribe, and not that she is related to the Ghostbloods. 2. Why would Diagram want a scribe close to Dalinar? Sure, they can spy on him, but Graves already trusts Dalinar, so why spy on him? Who doesnt trust Dalinar though? The Ghostbloods, who presumably dont trust anyone. And who has a history of placing undercover spies in Vorin society? The GBs. 3. Danlan later appears with Graves team. This is where it gets interesting. Mraize does not have a high opinion of Mr T, but likes to watch potential wildcards (he spies on Ialai in OB). Thus, he has Danlan infiltrate Graves team, just like Kabsal infiltrated the Ardents. The fact that Danlan didnt join Graves in OB supports this, in my mind. So, not packed with evidence, but a fun thought? What do you guys think?
  19. I just got this scene in my head of Jasnah teaching a philosophy class, and murdering someone in front of 30 students at the first lesson, before giving them a paper about said murder as honework. Edit: @Tommen welcome to the forums! Hope you enjoy! I consider your points about Tvlavk interesting. The guy is obviously a douche, but you are right in that Shallan didnt treat him fairly. Thanks for pointing out something I hadn’t considered before!
  20. Yes, but she might still want to visit Scadrial, because of that heritage. It is not unlikely to assume Iyatil has been poking around there a bit.
  21. One thing that speaks for Kelsier being a Ghostblood/the boss is the fact that Iyatil is originally from Scadrial. She has since moved away, but I wouldnt be surprised if she keeps in touch with her native planet. After all, she holds on to the culture quite tightly.
  22. I think its the combination of it being a graphic novel, which isnt everyones cup of tea, and the fact that the previous ones were not that great. I still havent read any of them.
  23. What about Bob Morley for Moash?
  24. Nale kills him for breaking a bunch of laws. And then Odium is like: ”Bro, why did you kill my Vyre?” And Nale is like: ”He broke the law, and the punishment is death, you old piece of Adonalsium.” And then Odium goes full Marshall Eriksen-mode and rewrites the law, so that it pardons Moash and works for stuff that happened in the past, so Nale has to kill himself.
  25. Nale is an issue in the Radiant-section though.
