  1. It seems like the Unmade are doing most of the work on that front. Odium just sits at the sideline and encourages them and promising pay-rise.
  2. Thanks @Calderis! That WoB is very interesting. I feel tempted to open a topic around it actually.
  3. I for one am optimistic. After all, Peter Jackson hadn't done much except for gory horror movies (I think) before making the best movies of all time - The Lord of the Rings. I will stay positive, as I generally am positive and excited for movie adaptions (Eragon sucked though).
  4. Has anyone noted that Graves is the biggest Dalinar fanboy on Roshar? He is willing to murder in order to see him on the throne.
  5. What? No! I love all three. I just want to see them have an epic fight, with maybe one casualty.
  6. I am rooting for Mr. T the unintentional villain, since I feel it would be the most interesting storyline. If we have several factions instead of just two, things are bound to be more interesting. I defenitely NOT want a mind controlled Mr. T, just as I dont want a mind-controlled Amaram, Mraize, Ishar or other potential villains. There are more interesting things to do than mind control, most of the time. Life before Death is by the way open to interpretation. Mr. T goes life before death since he puts the life of humanity before the deaths of parts of it. Kaladins defenition of it isn't the only one.
  7. @Calderis Would you be kind enough to alert me if you find that Graves WoB you mentioned a couple of pages back. I'd love to see it. Also @lastofus has a good point. Ghostbloods, Diagram and Sons of Honor in the same place will be cool. A Mraize vs Graves vs Amaram fight anyone?
  8. Only Hatham, the sly bastard.
  9. Oh, two more things: 1. What is up with the Shin and their dislike of fabrials? 2. Anyone else who thinks that Vstim might be Navanis Thaylen contact? That could introduce Rysn and the Larkin to Team Urithiru.
  10. Maybe the Voidbringers are going to buy Azish. It wouldn't be out of character for the Azish to sell their kingdom.
  11. My thoughts: *Sylblade is awesome. Now I'll be waiting for Shallan to start thinking about her Patternblade. *Speaking of Syl, I can see how she would be a huge problem once Kaladin gets a girlfriend. I dislike how dismissive she is of Adolin though, and how biased she is towards Kaladin. *Looks like Renarin is a Truthwatcher. Well, I'll continue to say that something is wrong with him. He is just too wierd. And also, Adolin seeing his ultimate self, might that have been the Truthwatchers Resonance? Making others see their true potential, or something? *Dalinar killed a little kid? He really was a monster. Also, R.I.P Teleb. These flashbacks makes him a badass. He is Stormlights version of Legolas, and died off-screen :-( *I LOVE the Azish. They are hilarious, even though I understand Dalinars frustration. *May Aladar keeps on appearing... I like Aladar though, he comes with good suggestions. And also, his "having a bad day" line was kind of funny. *I didn't like the Thaylen queen, which makes her the first Thaylen I don't like. I wonder what is up with her though. Dalinar thought something was off. The Thaylens are on an island, so they are pretty isolated. Maybe the Voidbringers conquered it and the one writing is an Unmade/Voidbringer impostor. They would probably have a lot of parshmen around there, since they most likely trade with them. It could be theoretically possible, and due to the isolated nature of the island, take a while for Team Urithiru to discover. *Elhokar is great. I also think that his scene proves that he does care about his people, and is not in it for glory only. "Bring the bridgeman in case I screw up, so that the city will be saved anyway" implies that he isn't afraid of humiliation, and that saving the people is his first priority. *Mr. T has a Radiant. Thats fun, considering that he doesn't want any of them running around. Something is wierd here.
  12. Haha, nope. Which is why Nazh would be a better Trump than Trump himself. Also, who knows, Nazh might end up fixing whatever problem they have on Threnody.
  13. First off, Mraize is actually native to Roshar, he is Thaylen (I believe there is a WoP on this). To answer the OP he could have posed as a mercenary. Sebarials forces consisted mostly of swords for hire if I remember correctly and a scarred mercenary wouldn't draw much attention. As for what he is doing in Urithiru, I guess that he has set up a base somewhere convenient, and started exploring like everyone else. He is probably very interested in the secrets of Urithiru. I also like the fact that he most likely smuggled his suit with him while in the army. Mraize never disappoints. @Calderis Iyatil was at the warcamps when Mraize spoke to Shallan. She tried to kill Amaram.
  14. He is probably named Nazrilof J Trump, and will make Threnody great again.
  15. Hm... Matthew McCougnahey for Obliteration. Cillian Murphy might make a good Larcener. Octavia Spencer (uses Google to look her up) has to be Regalia. Timothy Spall would make a fun Curveball. Morgan Freeman for Edmund. And Evangeline Lilly could be a great Loophole. Lets give Warbreaker a go with: -Matt Damon -Allison Sudol -Anthony Mackie -Richard Dormer -Elizabeth Olsen
  16. I can now forge old, broken toasters into beautiful shiny toasters! Delightful!
  17. Agreed. @EpsilonTheFirst tell us when you are done, and what you thought! Then I'll tell you who those two other characters are, if you are interested.
  18. Welcome!
  19. The fact that Mraize saw Tyn as game all along makes me like him even more.
  20. I think the fun factor in sharing an account this way is pretty high, at least if you like to confuse people.
  21. I guess I'll put up a picture of myself:
  22. Elend has the best arc in HoA, in my opinion (there are two others with really great arcs too, but I won't spoil who they are). That book really made me love Elend. Read on. He is awesome.
  23. Its always good to bring up odd ideas for discussion (I do it quite often). That said, I don't believe Adolin was mind-controlled. Having him be controlled would feel like a bad fake-out too, so I hope it doesn't go that way.
  24. I think that there is a connection between Roshar and Ashyn (and Braize). They are all extremely wierd, close to eachother, and there are three Shards waging a war in the neighbourhood. The gravity in the city has to be magic. The floating might be the atmosphere (correct me if I'm wrong, I suck at physics) but the gravity has to be magic. I agree with the observations that magic on Ashyn has similarities to what we see on Roshar. Wonder if surges are part of what makes the gravity so wierd. A Windrunner could easily walk around upside-down. Is it possible that the powers on Roshar has influenced Ashyns magic somehow? Or did Ashyn influence Roshar. I can defenitely see Ashyn being the Tranquiline Halls now (I can see Braize being the Halls too). Either way, I think all these planets will play a role in SA. They seem to be connected.
