  1. Hoid killing Taln is interesting, and eould be a cool twist. I do think Topaz is a coincidence though. Were did we learn about Hoid being Topaz btw? Can someone point me to a source?
  2. The best Rangers Apprentice character is Gilan in my opinion, even though Halt is cool too.
  3. I just remembered her. She wasn't in WoR much, and we will never see her again, but she was extremely unlikeable, in my opinion. She was too full of herself, had a pretty condescending attitude, and felt like a pretty bad person. Anyone who agrees/disagrees? Thoughts on her?
  4. Yeah, I know a lot of people hate Hobbit. I like them. LotR is obviously better, but they are good. And as for Marvel, when have GotG Vol.3, we will have one of the best trilogies in cinematic history. Also, do both of you agree on Hobbit?
  5. Actually, @Captains Domon, I think we need to add The Hobbit Trilogy, the Captain America Trilogy and the Iron Man Trilogy to your list.
  6. I second what @Rebecca said, it was interesting and fun to read. Most people just write three sentences, so having an actual story was nice. And also, as fans of Brandon Sanderson, we really can´t complain about texts being too long :-) Anyway, I wish you a happy stay here, and hope to see you around. Who is your favorite Sanderson character btw? Mine is Kelsier.
  7. Vin. She has trust issues. Would probably think that he was trying to murder her or something. Who would be the most likely to eat some toasts, Blushweaver or Nalan?
  8. Nice job @Argent! I made something similar about Heralds and extremism some time ago, but you theory is better. I am strongly in favor of Ishar = Tezim, and your thoughts on Nale are the same as mine. Your idea on the Heralds being extreme opposites, or extreme personifications, of their traits, is nice. I think we might be able to find more patterns in there though. For example, your theory states that Jezrien might be the total opposite of leading and protecting, while Nale is the embodiment of being just and confident. That opens up for a nice pattern, where every other Herald is opposed to their traits, and every other embodies them. That would make Chana the opposite of brave and obedient, Vedel extremely loving and healing, Paliah the opposite and onwards. I was onboard on Ishar = bald ardent, before I remembered that Tezim is still around. Also, Mraize comments about Ishar aren´t that big of an obstacle. He says Tezim isn´t human. Ishar isn´t either. He is a cognitive shadow. Mraize also says that if Tezim is human, he is not of the local species. but since Ishar isn´t human, that comment doesn´t mean much. We have pretty much on Tezim = Ishar though, so I find that more likely.
  9. I doubt this. Most of the KR spren are probably created or at least affected by Honor and Cultivation. I doubt random spren alone would have the power to grant Surges. They were in some way given power by Shards.
  10. I am not the biggest fan of Moash, but I am interested in SS and I find Graves interesting. So I hope we get Moash POV. I doubt it will be in Interlude form though. Since I read @The One Who Connects theory about Rysn and the Lanceryn, I have become even more Rysn-invested than before. So I would defenitely like her as a Interlude novella character. Also, Thaylens are cool. As for new Interlude characters, one from Mraize, Nale or Amaram would be great to read.
  11. For walking on roads.
  12. I have never seen her act, but physically, I think Izzy Meikle-Small might work. She isn't too old either (21, I believe).
  13. BIG Spoilers for the Season 7 finale of GoT:
  14. For everyone who tries out writing around here: how do you outline? Brandon outlines a lot, while other authors, such as GRRM are more chill about it. What kind lf writers are you?
  15. We don't know what the relations between Heralds was before the breaking of the Oathpact though. Nalan might have had a dislike toward Jezrien and a respect for Ishar which carries over now. He might be biased, simply.
  16. Yeah. Dark magic Toaster.
  17. I'm thinking about the Ghostbloods (Mraize and Iyatil in particular). They are known worldhoppers, and so, is it possible that they know the secret to longer life? The thing that makes people like Galladon and Demoux able to live for hundreds of years.
  18. Would be fun to know your guess anyway. If you want to share of course.
  19. We know one who is somewhat psychopatic though: Mraize. He stated that torturing Shallan would be fun... if he really feels that way, doing this wouldn't be a problem for him.
  20. Average white guy? You sure you haven't gotten Nalans picture mixed up with Kalak? He looks pretty average. Nalan is the hooded one.
  21. It says I'm a Dakhor Monk... Dakhor Toaster maybe?
  22. As a fan of Elhokar, I have to agree.
  23. Rayse. And he would name it Hate. Who would be the fastest spaghetti-eater, Shallan or Jasnah?
