You realize that those citations mean specific chapter and the link to the summary of that chapter is only for sake of convenience?

Coppermind strikes again! it seems we have it down to only two candidates.
-
Yep, we had. Multiple ones IIRC.

In case somebody missed that, here's that thread:

We need to introduce some background information on how Allomancy works to properly explain Compounding. The simplest definition is that it’s powering Feruchemy with Allomancy. Or it’s end-positive Feruchemy. In opposition to normal Feruchemy, power is gained How does it work? First of all, Compounder is a person who has Allomantic and Feruchemical powers tied to the same metal. Compounding itself consists of allomantically burning feruchemically filled metal (metalmind). How does that work? Let’s take example of iron. Normally burning iron allows to Pull on metals. However, while burning iron metalmind Compounder becomes multiple time heavier. Why? In normal process of burning metal its molecular structure shapes the Investiture flowing in; but when the metal is also a filled metalmind (that Compounder has access to), the feruchemical charge overwrites the filter. Then instead of causing an allomantic effect, Investiture causes a burst of feruchemical attribute (it was speculated to be tenfold of what was stored). At the same time, it’s possible to store that great amount of power in another metalmind, then burn that one repeating Compounding process; as a result one gains an exponential increase of feruchemical power. Note that metal is normally consumed in the process, as it is burned away. For purposes of almost all Compounders it means a virtually infinite amount of feruchemical attribute. Why not all? Here we have to explain one of basic limits of Feruchemy. Law of diminishing returns Although it’s an end-neutral art, one has to be prepared to deal with losses. A proportional increase of gained power requires to spend more than proportionally greater gathered power. For example, if Skimmer has stored weight, he could for some time - let’s say an hour - be twice as heavy. Hovever, if he wanted to double the gained weight*, it will last less than half an hour. If he wanted to multiply it sixty times**, it will last much less than a minute. In other words, the more or the faster you draw from metalmind, the greater the losses. It’s because some of the power is used to “compress” the rest. The more you have to “compress”, the more power is wasted on that. Usually it’s not really important - how often do somebody needs to weigh few tons or be muscular like a koloss? However, it’s probably a serious problem for Bloodmakes - they usually need to regenerate multiple times faster, healing serious wounds in a matter of seconds. Double atium In the case of prolonging one’s life by Compounding age the problem is very serious. TLR at the end of his life to stay young had to use around a thousand years - energy loss must have been a serious matter. What’s worse, he had to tap atium all the time to stay alive. Additionaly - in contrast to other attributes - he had to spend more and more of youth because the aging process happened normally (age is written in Spiritweb). In the end, to maintain his youth, he would have needed to Compound atium constantly, burning metalminds all the time, and then even that wouldn’t suffice. It’s hard to tell when that moment would occur though. Therefore, double atium does not provide infinitely long life (in opposition to other known to us methods). * so he would have been three times as heavy: his usual weight + double from Feruchemy ** like above: he would have been sixty one times heavier

I meant WoBs. Multiple WoBs on him using Allomancy and zero on him having burned lerasium or being Mistborn. I did even say that's an issue that's creating a lot of confusion but Brandon firmly stood by "you have seen him use Allomancy".

I just bought Dresden Files books 5 to 9 -
We know he used Allomancy. We have multiple confirmations on him using Allomancy. We have zero confirmations on him having burned lerasium, even when Brandon was directly asked for clarification on this one.

It's about experience. Weiry has been doing this for much longer time than us. We just need to keep doing this and eventually we'll get there

Shards Against Humanity: The Crowdsourced Deck
Oversleep replied to Necessary Eagle's topic in General Discussion
This is gonna have two levels of spoilers, just in case It was longer but the editor bugged and I had to rework a larger part of that from memory. Some things are probably missing and I'll probably never remember them again. -
Well, we already know he's legitimate.

Ah, the classic "how do we kill the regenerator" issue. Traditionally, there are four ways to do it: Remove the healing factor - e.g. rip out all of the gold, spike out both gold Allomancy and Feruchemy (only one of them is not sufficient), Soulstamp him not be a Compounder, Leech him (dangerous since the Leecher would need lots and lots of chromium and good grip and they could blow themselves up Miles style) Exploit the weakness, if there's any - e.g. aluminum in wounds prevents healing, therefore an aluminum schrapnel bullet in the brain should do the trick Outpace the ability to heal - e.g. deal so much damage it will drain all of the metalminds dry. This is of course quite hard to do since once you have goldminds inside of your body (like @Calderis would do), you can Compound for a very, very long time. Swim a sea of acid long time. Therefore we have to rely on either somehow immobilizing the Compounder, like throwing into volcano or into the Sun, dropping a mountain on him... the rest is left as an exercise to the reader Use unusual methods of destruction - methods which cannot be countered by healing - e.g. Soulcast him into something else, destroy with Nightblood, probably teleport into Selish subastral so that Dor rips him to pieces or to Braize with a card saying "Rayse is a crybaby" etc And that's about it.

What if Dawnsingers were actually... dawnform Listeners? -
Extesian may be the one that prompted it but it is me who made the connection And the other relevant WoB: Also, you should have posted that:

None. IIRC Aon Ati was actually made so that "Matisse" (which Hope of Elantris is tribute to) could be an Aonic name.

I think it may be one of the fresher WoBs.

@Slowswift IIRC Gavilar's branch of Kholins was not actually the heirs to the Kholinar's rule until Gavilar started his conquest.

I mean, on Roshar - how would they shine? Black light? I know there is darklight in the Gavilar's dark orb but I doubt it's Skybreaker gem
