  1. Being a Cognitive Shadow does not grant any enhanced abilities by itself. Our prime example of CS inhabiting bodies are Returned and their enhanced physical abilities are due to their Divine Breath.
  2. You can't destroy Investiture. You can't kill power. However, what you can do is kill the Vessel so that nobody guides the power and fragment the Investiture so nobody can pick it up. That's what Splintering a Shard is. Splinters or pieces of Shard existing are largely irrelevant.
  3. Yes, that's the WoB I'm going off. Of course, with Feruchemical nicrosil around we have to ask what it means to be stronger Feruchemist too.
  4. Taln's ninja skills without Honorblade point to some kind of augmentations. My theory is that Cultivation enhanced their bodies and Honor gave them Surges. Not to mention they seem to be able to detect Stormlight (Nale sensed Lift metabolizing into Stormlight, Taln reacted to Shallan Lightweaving).
  5. Innate. But Shards could have granted them some, right? That wouldn't count as innate?
  6. What do you mean? I don't recall any information on that. BTW, we do know what it means to be a weaker Feruchemist.
  7. There are several WoBs on these things (some of which has been misremembered to some extent). I'll add more if I find something.
  8. Yes; but they also get out more power out of the metal. I asked Brandon that. (It's not verbatim though) I still feel bad that I did not record that.
  9. Fan-made best-guess
  10. If you find it, let me know

  12. Basically I got there form Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag OST. Was looking for something to get in the high seas, naval mindset.
  13. Probably not. Steel speeds up the body, zinc speeds up the mind. These are not relevant to how magic works. Hovewer, you can do that by tapping nicrosil and strengthening your magic (note that we only know for sure it makes it possible to burn metals faster, we're not sure what greater Feruchemical Strength implies).
  14. The direction of the implication How do I explain this... I say focii are picked out of possible stuff (which has to have some properties). You say that the stuff focii are picked out of is special (those properties are significant). "Squares have to be rectangles" versus "Since squares are rectangles, rectangles are special". Something like that.
  15. I would never solve that. I would never think that way.
  16. I see where you're coming from. However, my thinking is completely opposite. You say focii are important everywhere due to their nature; I say that focii are things that share some properties which are prerequisities to be able to be a focus.
  17. Ugh... I got the but I haven't figured out what A is yet. Is what I got so far correct at least? I've made some progress with y=2 but not much more.
  18. In my opinion, Transistor is better than Bastion. But both are great. I can't wait to play Pyre
  19. Also, your previous post feels like you think that heart is univeral bindpoint or something. It's just got several so that it frequently picks up.
  20. Please don't shift the responsibility for our doings to God. Blaming God for something that is the effect of our actions is very... enraging.
  21. The heart has several bindpoints. Anyway, if you're using bullets as spikes then you have to rely on luck anyway. Hope you hit a correct bindpoint somewhere.
  22. Is this how it was supposed to be?
  23. But the whole thing is designed with the premise they can continue to heal even after being shot! It's just that they cannot move anymore.
