Easily forgotten and sometimes killed. New Year's Resolutions are like glass

I would sleep, but then I'd forget how embarrassing it was to sit next to my crush.

Elantris Leatherbound Question about Devotion's Shardpool
baby replied to Youngy's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Maybe a shard chooses to let their power through? We need to more about shards in general. -
Saitama. 'Nuff said.

Just asking, but have either of you read the endings? It certainly sounds like you have. I already have questions for Lost Metal, and that's a sad feeling. Especially since it's not due til 2018 .-.

Okay I saw the epilogue on amazon and that's like... spoiling so much rn.

Don't kandra have an intelligence spike somewhere?
-
Hemalurgy doesn't work like that. A specific trait or ability stolen by a specific spike goes into a specific place on the body. Whatever it creates is going to change wildly depending on what you choose. It's also likely that you won't change much at all, so you'd just be super smart, to answer your second question.

I'm pretty sure that I read somewhere that Harmony changed the way feruchemy interacts with allomancy, thus allowing twinborns.
-
Pretty sure Brandon said that Preservation was mucking up the system to allow that to happen. As in, that number isn't natural. By the way, I don't think we even know if atium mistings by themselves are natural.

So VenDell says people have been experimenting with the idea, and the results have been..... promising? I can't fathom how the results could be anything but right or wrong.

I'm pretty sure there's a WoB somewhere that says that some shards are simply better at seeing the future than others, and that this is based on intent because Ruin just wants to ruin everything NOW. Thus, not as great a future sight.

Well, the originators were the people who came out of the caves and rebuilt mankind as leaders, so Tindwyl maybe not so much. I can't see the title Lady Truth really fit to Beldre or Allrianne, are there any other women who were kinda prominent in the series?
-
Hiiiiiiii! Introductory upvote. I'd advise you to read Warbreaker, as it clears up some stuff that happens at the end of WoR. After Warbreaker, the Mistborn trilogy's probably the best thing to read.

Not sure if I read that right, but Sazed widely changed the planet and the topography. If Southern Scadrial was burnt to a crisp, I doubt that Sazed would've left it like that. Also, I don't understand why giving the Southerners a bit of Ruin to save them was necessary.

INTERVIEW: Sep, 2012 Cosmere Q&A - 17th Shard (Verbatim) FIREARCADIA Is there any use to being a Copper compounder, from a feruchemical point of view? I think the same point would also apply to an Aluminium compounder. BRANDON SANDERSON Some combinations, like some abilities themselves, aren't really that useful. That said, being able to compound copper...that could do some things. Aluminum, not so much. This was three years ago, so maybe things might have changed though.

We just got a WoB in the Orem signing that Investiture is a finite resource, if that's what that was pertaining to. [01:04:44] chasmfriend’s son: Is there a finite amount of Investiture? Brandon: Yes. EDIT: here it is
-
So now we have a direct WoB that says Vasher came to Roshar, saw shard blades and went back to Nalthis and made night blood.

Where does it say Elend burns through metals faster? He gets more power from the metal itself iirc.

I dig it.

I believe Brandon said Lightweavers don't speak oaths, instead they speak truths. That's why Shallans power growth is just different from others.

So. Rosanna from Florida won that Bands of Mourning ARC and gets to read the rest of the book.
