  1. Uhh, what makes you think that 2 hazekillers per limb is even close to the amount needed to hold down an inquisitor who can flare pewter??
  2. Well, this came up on the wiki The Steel spikes inserted into eye sockets allow the Inquisitor to navigate via the blue Allomantic lines from the traces of metals in everything. comes from the coppermind so take with a grain of salt but it sounds like there were two.
  3. QUESTION In other worlds, are we seeing any magics already? Like, Allomancy might be in Roshar? BRANDON SANDERSON You've seen people using Allomancy in Roshar before. Soooo... Have any of ya'll seen this happening before? Can't recall anything other than Hoid(?) pouring metal shavings in his drink when talking to Shallan's dad. EDIT: comes from here if interested http://www.theoryland.com/intvmain.php?i=1052#79
  4. I actually don't think there's a single post like this, maybe for just cosmere characters but not for everything. That being said, the one I'd like to see have to spikes is none other than LUFFY. (from one piece if you didn't know you uncultured swine). He'd be an electrum compounder for determination cause that's the single thing I see him getting.
  5. Even though I love One Piece, the impact dial probably wasn't the best analogy to use here since the impact dial is acting surprisingly like a metalmind. It stores the forces that are being acted on it, and then releases it all at once. EDIT: spelling
  6. To be fair, the wind runners of now probably know as much as the windrunners of old did about these things.
  7. Shouldn't this be in Mistborn? Not general brandon discussion.
  8. Well, we know that Ati and Leras still had a body, and Vin had one too, as she simply falls from the mists like the other two and the only difference was that her hair turned white iirc. Sazed's body was the only one described as being vaporized, but I don't know how it all works out.
  9. In Alloy of Law, gold is stated to be very expensive, on the bar with platinum, but not as much as aluminum. Also, Miles was desperately in need of gold for his compounding, and it's stated that gold is hard to come by unless you have the money.
  10. You could argue that there's a small bit of influence from Ruin when you burn Atium, as I think everyone who burns it gets a bit of bloodlust. Not koloss bloodlust, but to make them take moves they might not normally have. There's only a small bit of influence because the majority of the power is being burned up anyway.

    Pathism

I find it ironic that the religion which holds Sazed as god has a faith which leaves much to be interpreted by yourself, with only a few vague rules. This was the kind of religion that Sazed would immediately label untrue, and probably why he refuses to be worshipped.
  12. Is Awakening end-neutral? Also it only has the one shard so that might be an example if it is.
  13. Don't know how useful that first one would be, other than like a fun roadside trick. The second one has some potential, but it seems the mobility while using it would be lacking. Also, "Last one, however, is barriers. Forming skin level barriers on the body, essentially, that increase defensive properties akin to Armament Haki from One Piece.", upvote cause One Piece.
  14. Sorry to say it once more, but Reckoners isn't part of the cosmere.
  15. I actually like this name a lot.
  16. So I was rereading the first mistborn series and when Sazed was fighting Kandra, he very distinctly says that he stops tapping weight, but then uses speed to smash a hammer into the Kandra. I can't quote it right now, but it went along the lines of 'He wasn't tapping weight anymore, but he had speed.' So I don't really know right now if it would hurt you or not, but that's probably the best example we have considering the only attribute he was tapping was speed.
  17. We know that feruchemy was formed as a result of 2 shards with opposite intent both choosing the same planet to stay and cultivate. Could a magic system similar to feruchemy be formed on other planets with shards of opposite intent but with a different focus? (instead of metal)
  18. Also Nightblood feeds upon investiture so violently that it will kill you if you don't have enough at hand. This, plus the innate investiture, are what makes it so powerful.
  19. She had that one large bead stored in TenSoo!n's shoulder, so probably not.
  20. Do we know that you have any repercussions from stopping compounding? I mean you might crave it but there's nothing actually changing after you stop tapping (as far as we know).
  21. Isn't the whole point of feruchemy that whatever you put in is the same amount coming out? I don't recall Sazed ever saying that, any quotes?
  22. Some kinds of feruchemy when compounded seem really easy to get addicted to, when compounding of course. Stuff like cadmium (which I think when burning a metal mind, you feel more alive, or more oxgenated, but like extreme amounts of it), bronze, Gold, Tin if you're a masochist like Spook, brass, chromium (?), and bend alloy. Then you have the stuff that'd be weird to compound regularly like weight. Would there be other types of investiture that are addicting?

    Soothing/Rioting

Can you soothe or riot your own emotions?
  24. Well, if it really is Vin's earring, a Kandra might have held on to it, in their body, until Sazed to,d them to give it to Wax.
