  1. Sorry, I have a few doubts. First of all. AoL take place 341 years after HoA, you stop your table for space problem or quite other 150 years are meaningless to the decay ? Second, we know that many (k) earrings are made using a single Inquisitor's Spike, therefore Wax's earring must have 1/k of the Hemalurgyc charge left after 341 years of decay. It's possible that if not splittered the Spike would have a low (but usefull) charge left ?
  2. It's like I thought the whole time, but it's great to have a WoB about, thanks
  3. If this is true I am very ashamed! Feruchemy is my favorite Manifestation of Investiture and to me it's just became more (very more) powerfull
  4. Well I have to misunderstanding the whole thing until now then. I understood that there is a upper limit on the storable amount, if this is 50%, 70%, ecc... is meaningless but I thought that there is a upperlimit (not the 100% of course XD ), like if you have a pipe of X size. It can't pass more than X attribute at time.
  5. It's unclear if you may store all the youthness made by a Durallumin-powered Atiummind. Or if your Feruchemical Storage-limit apply also at the compounding
  6. To be honest, i ever thought to the shardblade as "sharp" (at least in the Physical Realm).
  7. I die a little everyday from the SoS's release because I can't read it for months (until it will be traslate in my country) and every new post with [shadow of Self Spoiler] is a stab to my heart. Probably at the Bands of Mourning's release I wll still wait for SoS....
  8. Using a Logarithmic function to express the Hemalurgyc Decay is the only possible way, or at least It's the only that came to my mind.
  9. After my previous post about the Solid-Stormlight, I read a WoB about the "Crem is some kind of Shard poop", therefore could be the crem the "solid Investiture" of Roshar ? I don't say "solid stormlight" because Stormlight could be Honor's Investiture and Crem Cultivation's Investiture (or the Opposite).
  10. The liquid form are probably the Shardpool of Honor or Cultivation. By the way I don't think there is a Solid form to Stormlight, the Scadrial's Lerasium is quite odd because the Scadrail focus is a "object" (metal), if Roshar has some non-physical focus (my idea is "the bond") it's unlikely to have "solid Stormlight. The most seems to think that Roshar's focus is "gem", if this is true (but i don't think) we could see "solid Stormlight" (or Tanavastheart )
  11. Mine too: Q: The victim of Hemalurgy must have some Ruin's Investiture? If no must the spike made of Atium or Atium's Alloy ? Q: What kind of Spike, Marsh had as "regolar Inquisitor" during The Final Empire ? Q: Have a Splinter have to be sentience (at least a bit) to be called Splinter ?
  12. Anyone know what Spike Marsh ha as "regolar Inquisitor" (while Rashek was still alive) ? I remember He had 11 Spike but I don't know what kind
  13. Sorry but I don't understand what "vin=elend=100% mistborn". If you are saying simply that both of them are mistborn (in the meaning od "able to burn every metals" you have right), but if you say that Vin was as powerfull as Elend you have wrong. Elend was as powerfull as the "firsts nine allomancers" of the Final Empire (I keep Rashek off because I don't know if he was "only" a Lerasium-Mistborn) and in 1000 years the Allomantic's Legacy of them was weakened. Also Vin stated that Elend is more strong than her, and if it isn't enough for you. The Kandra was afraid of the Allomancer because in the first years of the Final Empire, a Mistborn (there isn't misting) could take over a Kandra's mind and controlling it. Vin can't do this without using the Durallumin while the "ancient mistborn" didn't know that metal.
  14. That was my questions Anyway from his answer I think that to be a Ferring isn't a requirement to tap into a metalmind. But you of course must have the right "Identity" to do that. Unluky in my question I had to use Hemalurgy as example of power-loss. And the Hemalurgy change deeply the victim
  15. Steel or Iron, the "metal sense" is quite cool, but probably Steel is better by the "moviment" applications. Also if without Iron the Steel alone isn't enough for the Mistborn's movements.
  16. Of course! in my ranking I used a Mistoborn turn to an Inquisitor and therefore with double-everything. I edited the post to avoid misunderstoonding
  17. To me the "family affinity" is wrong, or at least is wrong as "innate potential" with surgebinding. Anyway there is "side factor" about the family. One of the requirement for the Nahel Bond is to be a "broken" people, and to broke a people is needed a great/tragic event, the member or your family is probably (at least someone of them) broken by the same event like you. About the Kholin's family they have a lot (if not most) political powers and Influence. Therefore the Spren may try to bond with such Influent people.
  18. We may burn the metalmind and the normal metal at the same time I think (it's quite a "different power") but I don't think there is any benefit in doing this. The Connection is a Spiritual Attribute of yours. When you tap the metalmind, you strenghten it, but is quite a passive ability I suppose. There isn't any output or similar phenomenom that could recive a bost from the time bubble. To me is the Spirtitual Version of "became taller/shorter", everyone Spiritual's aspect see you better and you could see better the other Spiritual's Aspect.
  19. I really don't know. Maybe i overrated Vin with my 1.5x but not of so much. To me you understimated Elend, His power is the only "reference" we have. He was as powerfull as (or more powerfull) than the Average Inquisitor (with double powers) therefore Elend must had something like 2x. here I try to ranking the Allomancers powers (I would to use a range instead of a value): Rashek 2.0-2.2x (it's unclear if Rashek was a standard Lerasium-Mistborn of Sliver-Mistborn) Elend (& any Lerasium Allomancer) 1.9-2.0x (double powerfull than an standard allomancer) Inquisitors (mistborn based) 1.5-2.0x (using the double of the "standard allomancer" with a minus for the Decay) Vin 1.4-1.6x (she was more powerfull than other regolar allomancer of a significant amount) Other Allomancer 0.8-1.2x (to consider weak and Strong Allomancer)
  20. I agree with Oudeis. If The Spren dies during the Spiking you obtain a Dead Shardblade. If the Sprem living quite well during the Spiking, probably dies by the Not-Oath-Affinity to the new Partner. Anyway I think that the Spren doesn't survive to the Spiking, because for an X time (that could be just a moment) He will be without a "partner" resulting in a immediate Broken-Bond.
  21. I was simply using the "only 5%" as synonymous for "little charge" referring to the previous Moogle's post. About the decay I was using the new information in the first post: I suppose that with this model my exposition of Vin's Earring and her ability to pierce coppercloud may be likely acceptable. There is just a great doubt: "A mistborn had the same strenght with all the metals ?" (I don't know if there is a WoB about)
  22. To be honest when I read for the first time "Kinetic Investiture", I thought that it will be a "Potential Investiture" for what he called "Innate Investiture". Like the kinetic and potential energy, the meaning is quite the same with the two type of Investiture.
  23. But I don't say that a normal (or powerfull) Seeker of the Vin's era could piercea coppercloud alone. Well the problem is that we don't know how an Allomancer's power is hight or low. We could made some speculations but they aren't "sure" of course. For example: We know that the "Average Inquisitor" may pierce the "average coppercloud". From this fact we could say that "twice the Average Seeker's power could pierce the coppercloud of the average Smooker". Then we must decide "how many powerfull Was Vin compared to the Average Allomancer". From now I will use SAP as "Standard Allomantic Power". Vin had k*SAP amount of power, where 1<k<2. The range (I know is quite large) is simply made by the fact that Vin is stronger then the SAP and that she alone can't pierce a SAP Coppercloud while an Iquisitor (2*SAP) can do it. We can't make this count accurate, it only a estimation. But I will use the average value of the range, K=1,5 therefore with this (hypothetical) data, Vin was about one and half power the power of an average Allomancer. If we suppose that Vin's Sister was a Seeker with SAP level and the Her's Spike had lost 50% if the Hemalurgyc's charge (probably with the new Information about the Decay this is a presumable estimate), Vin was a Seeker as powerfull as an Inquisitor while she had her earring (If the Vin's sister was as powerfull as Vin, the "needed" charge is only the 30%). .
  24. Can someone ask him if the Spiked-One (the Victim) need to have Ruin's Investiture.?
  25. I agree with the Autonomy ----> Indipendence and we make some Speculation about its Manifestation of Investiture. PS: There is any place in the forum to talk about White Sand ?
