  1. Oh I agree with you. That post was literally me typing as the thought was forming lol. And I didn't mean to imply that Sadeas was one of the remembered forgotten. Was just genuinely curious what that meant for Adolin.
  2. I'd go with Pewter, Steel, & Brass(if it lets me store mental speed. If not, then whatever kind of spike that does effect mental speed). For zombies you want to be strong as all get out. That physical speed would sync nicely with Pewter. And a Brass spike for the reasons above.
  3. I guess stabbing Sadeas in the eyeball could be seen as being caring & compassionate. Towards his father and family. Certainly not towards Sadeas.
  4. Much obliged for that bit of info, sir.
  5. Oh OK. In that case I meant (spoiler tags since its not Mistborn boards)
  6. Could be. I mean, Night blood knows he's a sword(I think), and I'm pretty sure he knows he needs a person to carry/weild him. His Cognitive Realm form might just be a sword, with his mind still in the sword, but with a "person" he moves and speaks through. That would be cool.
  7. Is there any reason TLR himself couldn't have made the trip? I mean he did survive being burnt to bones basically. I think it's plausible for him to have made it to Southern Scadrial without that whole death problem.
  8. Man did I love to hate Umbridge. And no, no resemblance that I can see. Then again, my lenses are pretty strong. Just glad to have a drawing of Steris. Her face kept changing because my mind had no image to link it to.
  9. Would be cool if bonding a deathspren at the point of death allowed you to forsee your own death, or others near you or close(relationship-wise) to you, to possibly stop it.
  10. Yeah I was thinking it didn't hold up when I remembered Szeth is a beast with Lashings from the very first time we see his POV. I doubt he would be so skilled if he wasn't already bonded to it before becoming Truthless.
  11. I agree with everyone who says they made him Truthless because they thought he was lying/wrong about the Final Desolations coming. But, I think the reason he has an Honorblade is because they consider it the most dangerous weapon they have. Which would probably make it the most shameful weapon to ever touch. Why not force a Truthless to bond it? I don't think he already had it bonded because he was a stone shaman.
  12. He might not have any plate. He is supposed to be a Radiant without shards, IIRC.
  13. Kinda dealing with that problem right now actually. Someone seemed to think I intentionally tried to skirt the rules, even though I censored myself. Didn't know that it as one word was considered a work around. Good to know. But besides all that goodness, and behind Adolin offing Sadeas, it would have to be Kal saving Dalinar and his troops at the tower. A good 2nd place I think.
  14. Yes. But does he like bacon with maple syrup? That's the true mystery in my eyes.
  15. Definitely when Adolin took down Sadeas. I was sreaming in my head "JUST KILL HIM". And then he did. In epic fashion. I felt chills.
  16. I don't know what books you have read so far, so I'm not going to spoil anything from another series. Suffice to say people can die and remain around in a certain form that I won't spoil for you either.
  17. Dude you confused the hell outta me until I saw commerce instead of Cosmere lol. This "predicitive" text are striving hard to make me look as stupid as possible.
  18. All I know is that when he was stuck with those arrows, and he didn't kill the dude, I was like "Okay, he's not that bad." Yeah, didn't even know you couldnt just put asterisks because I had no idea it would just change it to chull. Otherwise, that's what I would have put. But thanks the for the report big guy. Ya know, instead of just saying something to me. Wasn't trying to skirt anything.
  19. That. Is. Awesome. I've been wanting to see someone's Nightwatcher POV. I would even have even been fine with Tooks visit(if there truly was such a visit). Who knows, maybe he was telling the truth about "stealing" the Black Sphere from her/it. That would be awesome too see, especially since basically everyone assumes he lied about it. Me included. Ya know, or Dals, too. Either or.
  20. damnation! And here I thought my knowledge base of the Cosmere was growing. Sad to say, I am lost.*Have been found. Ok,in my defence, I've only read that book once, and her last name really didn't stick. Not gonna be able to forget it now. Embarrassment is one of our best tools for cataloguing info I'm learning.
  21. I wonder what the AOE for the simple rules is. These Threnodites(I like it better than Threnodians, sry Alfa) really need to star sciencin'. I mean I know silver can create a border(blocking the simple rules? Or maybe the Shades can still detect it, but the silver in the border walls stops them.?). Really I'm just wondering if Yata is correct, saying you need to be near a Shade for the Simple Rules to take effect, or if it's effect on the FOH is pervasive.
  22. I wanna agree with Havoc. But it was always in my mind that Roshar was going to be completely destroyed. But idk if tht will happen at the end of book 5. And if it did happen, what would happen to any KR who happened to flee the planet? Would they even be able to get SL anymore? That's the only problem I see with that idea. But, Brandon did say we've already read the end of the series, and Tanavasts vision for Dalinar did show the the ground being ripped up into the sky IIRC. Seems like a world ending event to me. Just a guess.
  23. Pretty sure they are all gonna be titles of in world books. At least for the first 5 books, I think. I'm sure someone will find a WoB on it.
  24. Yeah, I'm really interested to see what's in it. Loved the chapters when Shallan was reading Words of Radiance. Still hard to believe we're only two books in.
  25. I'm still not convinced Adolin has shown us any bravery or courage. I've been trying to recall a scene where he is truly terrified and doesn't want, at all, to do what needs to be done, and yet still does it. Not at the Tower. That was a desperate fight for survival. Not with the dueling challenges. He truly does enjoy battle, he just wants a fair fight even in battle. Now that's noble, but not brave. Hell, Renarin shows more bravery on a constant basis than Adolin. Don't get me wrong. I love Adolin. And if anyone does remember a specific snippet where he shows courage and bravery, please, feel free to shut me down.
