  1. I seem to recall an old WoB where Brandon talked of Gravitation with Skybreakers and Windrunners, in that it was mostly the same but ever so slightly different
  2. My guess is it allows Odium to detect other sources of Investiture, and senswing Vasher isn't a native, would have Nalthis in his sights next; alternatively, If the flavour/nature of Investiture has any effect on him as he consumes it, it's possible he may go full on zombie rage mode to reference iZombie, or it will definitely alter his personality somewhat
  3. I have a feeling it may be related to how a person personifies objects, inherently giving them a gender, like with Kaladin's old spears
  4. Saw the Taravangian thing coming. I wonder if he'll still try to kill/betray Dadinar
  5. Dungoof, my storming tablet and autocorrect! Indeed M, just recently watched it on Netflix. Edited!
  6. i have the Moana soundtrack stuck in my head. This makes me both very happy....and very storming annoyed at the same time. EDIT: because the tabletspren hates me
  7. How many chaptersvare there in Part 1? And eek, soon!
  8. This talk of displays is giving me an amusing image of whenever a character levels in a game. I would interpret the WoB as saying its only for some orders and not the surgebinders themselves but for me it is close call. I am certainly intrigued as to why this is case, regardless of who it applies to. As for your theory C, I would currently agree with it as it kind of reminds me when you have an epiphany; the idea behind it is simple in essence, but the amount of effort to actually come to it's realisation would be like climbing a mountain you made out of a molehill. The harder you work against it, the more you slap yourself for being a chullhead for not understanding it sooner when you finally do.
  9. The betas must be having a good chuckle over our theorising and thoughts, as I swear I'm hearing diabolical cackling in the distance
  10. IIRC, the 'forersight-is-bad' mindset came from the downfall of the Heirocracy, as the Ardents/priests claimed to be receiving visions from someone/thing/where, with which they tried to seize control etc. etc. hence why now they're practically servants but don't quote me on that. I would say Truthwatchers primarily see the present and future, but could possibly also see the past
  11. Don't forget, minor Cosmere spoilers
  12. On the wait for the next chapters, how hyped I am on a scale from 1 to Even...I just can't
  13. Given Mraize's comments, I would find it incredibly funny if Tezim is a Worldhopper or Dysian Amian or a Worldhopping shape shifter
  14. A Capella recently; Spotify is pretty decent with that and its even made a Daily Mix for me that is purely A Capella
  15. I can't remember if it was this group of chapters or the previous ones that reiterated Hatham's colours as red and gold but does anyone else get slightly...paranoid and over reactive whenever they see that combination considering..other Cosmere appearances
  16. Also, just to point out; the Szeth passage says a 100 levels, possible typo?
  17. It's something I've been wondering myself lately. We don't know if the Nightwatcher existed prior to H&C's arrival, like the Stormfather, or if she was created by Cultivation at some point. If she did exist, i wonder what their/her original purpose was/is
  18. Renarin's behaviour seems to be pretty much what I expect from a Truthwatcher, given what little we know of them. I see a parallel to The Sword of Truth (I know) novels and it's debate on prophecy with free will versus predestination. It seems to be a trait I associate with those struck with the burden of knowing too much, although in Renarin's case, he may not know how he knows exactly. I'm very eager for the book now to see how the character developments play out
  19. My bet is that Renarin has possibly seen something either Odium's champion, or at least the who/what the Unmade are Also, high five for spren having multiple genders
  20. Sweet! Thanks @axcellence 22:30 makes it a little more bearable Whelp, no spoilers, tablet crammed up, no idea how to remove the boxes.
  21. What time is that? (Currently in Darwin, Oz so that is GMT +9:30) cause this wait is killing me :'(
  22. For the first part, only the Godking's priests know about needing a Returned child, so Dedelin would have been none the wiser. As for the other part, I'm pretty sure they either would have came up with an excuse, or teach them how to. It's probable we'll find out in the eventual sequel
