  1. Actually, @Pagerunner, only the second film dealt with a stone, the first was focused on Thor growing up mentally. Granted, the Tesseract was hinted at in the post credits but it had no relevance prior to that. I actually enjoyed both the first two films, definitely not worth the harsh criticism some people give them. We know from Ultron that Thor had a vision, and Heimdall was saying something about going blind but I can't quite remember, need a rewatch. Now, as for the Soul Stone, I don't think we'll see that in either Thor or GotG2. Whilst it may be possible and likely, given Hela is god of the Norse underworld, so souls may be in play here, I have a feeling they will probably save it for Black Panther. The colours and abilities of the stones have been switched a little bit so it isn't a direct adaptation (you should read where they actually come from, comics be cray cray) It all depends on how much they're borrowing from comic event book, obviously with some Planet Hulk elements (I look forward to hearing how Hulk/Banner got off world in the first place) (Speaking of comics, the Contest games is actually based on the Secret Wars: Battle world print run of the same name, if memory serves!)
  2. Woops , yeah, sorry A! Brainfart...yeah I doubt they would but as a standalone, I think it could work and more then see how it performs before making connections would be better, especially if they govthe Agent Venom or Planet Symbiote routes
  3. Before the Sony/marvel-disney agreement with Spiderman appearing in Civil War, The Amazing Spiderman 2 was supposed to be followed up by said Venom movie, as in it has been in the idea works ever since TAS2. That is, if I'm remembering correctly so I don't think it was planned to be in the MCU from the start. Spiderman may prove otherwise
  4. IIRC @Argent, the venom movie was a leftover idea from TAS2
  5. I'm still!l tracking the last 20-. Damnation they are hidden fair!y well
  6. You can organise the menu screens by pressing either Y or X I believe. It arranges the armour into either sets or piece type, similarly to materials, groups by type I.e ores, bugs etc.
  7. I liked it. Not as great as the others, but still great. I liked the overall theme of innocence and essentially growing up. Would have preferred more visuals of K'un L'un and more background on Gao but it's only season 1
  8. It isn't technically confirmed, but there is a hint in the first album memory. I just can't wrap my head around the timeline, period. Where do people even get the idea there's 3 anyway, I could ha e sworn its fan-made anyway
  9. @Deliiiiiightful I've swallowed two and had two fly in my nostrils. Is this backpacker Strayan enough yet? (And I've discovered Daryl Braithwaite's Horses!!!)
  10. mosquitoes and flies -.- regional Oz has the most annoying creepy crawlies
  11. I'm not really buzzing with questions (surprisingly) but even if I was I would still avoid posting, it just doesn't seem the right thing for an ama such as this
  12. Do we actually have confirmation or a picture as to how big an Eye Spike actually was? My head canon is a little less wider than a standard Nikon/insertothercamerabrand lens cap, in a rounded square shape...but I'm not sure how I arrived at that
  13. I didn't mind the GN itself, a threw me once or twice but I hadn't read one for over half a year and the style isn't as clearcut as I'm used to. Defo buying Vol. 2 although $50/$60 for a hardback makes me want to QQ (although, as I'm planning on heading back to the UK for birthday in July it shouldn't be too bad).
  14. Especially, with Bavadin and the recent Topic on the definition of Autonomy, it actually fits quite well
  15. Or perhaps they draw the water out of the lichen
  16. Interesting
  17. Darius Rucker - Wagon wheel
  18. Ambition Investing in Threnody, if only slightly, could link up to what Nazh says to Kels about becoming a C-Shadow in SH, in that there are rituals and the like involved, making it sound like something to perhaps aspire or strive toward. Doesn't the essay mention that Ambition was fatally wounded in the system? So could it be possible they suffered a Shardic bleed out of sorts after they left? As for the Shard in space, I'm of the opinion that would actually be Ambition, or rather, their corpse. Perhaps a question to ask would be how much Investiture, compared Shard's full potential, is required to have a Perpendicularity form. Maybe then we can extrapolate Threnody's and FotS' Shardpool situation
  19. Only just caught up on all 4 shows' seasons from 2015/2016. Arrow I found to be a little draggy but the first half was pretty dope. The whole not telling felicity about William could have been avoided if he'd said something really vague about being sworn to secrecy and that he really couldn't tell her. Flash...I found Barry to be a lot whinier than was necessary but still a good season. Would have preferred Wally to be the son from the future but...eh. Cisco as Vibe/Reverb is definitely one of the best moments. It'll be a long time before I can see the current series but I was seriously hoping for more adverse and beneficial effects due to Flashpoint, especially if it reverberates across the other shows (Laurel coming back to life as Earth 2 Black Siren but good instead) Legends....overall, I quite liked it but time travel shows will always annoy me when they don't keep the science rules consistent. Seeing as how they ended the show and killed Savage in three different time periods, surely the whole him taking over scenario should never have happened...unless because it wasn't done by chay-ara. Just...ergh. Supergirl, I actually really loved this show although the forced romance between kara and jimmy is just...blargh. Kat is my fave although Melissa has actually brought Kara to life in ways I wouldn't have expected
  20. I'm thinking Yondu from the GotG movie would be a better choice in terms of weapon choice
  21. By deep sand, I actually meant deep under the sand, beyond the arid surface layers, not the actual place. By brain farted on the actual phrasing x)
  22. I've been of the impression that it might be similar to Paolini's Inheritance saga (Eragon). He calls up the water from the deep sand.
  23. I believe Mr. T foresaw that the Ever storm was inevitable, at least that's the vibe I'm getting
  24. If it was black, then presumably it was Ruin given Vin's description of Ruin at the Well.
