  1. I thought he was The One Above All, or was that Jack Kirby? jW
  2. Let's not forget either that the Cryptic we've seen seems to be inordinately terrible at lying. If that's normal, calling them Liespren really is a misnomer anyways. They're fascinated by lies, but perhaps that's because they can only innately understand truth. jW
  3. I don't know for sure about that last part. Listeners are more rooted in the Cognitive I believe I've understood, so perhaps for a human, speaking it is just usually necessary to cement the ideal fully in their Cognitive Identity. That would explain some of the differences. I suspect the Rythyms help with the correct mindset for the Listeners too. jW
  4. That seemed to me to simply be perspective: their aura diminished because the Breaths left them, and everything seems comparatively more…drab. jW
  5. Definitely precedent for putting it on Netflix anyways, since they have 4-5 others either already available or announced. I'd say there's a fairly decent chance of that. jW
  6. Windrunners don't have Soulcasting (they get Gravitation and Adhesion). In addition, I'd worry about the impacts of soulcasting anything that's in your stomach into metal, that seems potentially very dangerous. jW
  7. Yep, and I think we've seen the same formation show up elsewhere. There's something fishy about it too, more than just stars that appear red, I think. jW
  8. That implies to me that he's sick because of storing so much health, so he's sleeping while his body recovers from that. jW
  9. Good to know. That definitely supports the theory and all but destroys mine, unless they were splintered far earlier than I thought. I guess it's possible that happened before "modern" Elantris and Arelon, but I suspect that's not the case. I think it happened not long before the Reod. jW
  10. Yeah, that would point to Mack if so, but it could definitely be misdirection. I mean, the show is almost as tricky as Mistborn. There's always another secret. jW
  11. I remember a WoB relating to that, but I don't recall it now. Was it specific about that point, or more vague? jW
  12. My assumption would have been whatever ancient people built Elantris originally (IIRC, the Arelish people found it intact but empty, settled in the city and countryside, then after a few generations, began turning into Elantrians as we know them). Skaze wouldn't have to be inherently evil, so they could have both been created with good intentions. In fact, I'd like to know if the behaviors of either Seons or Skaze changed significantly following the splintering of D&D. jW
  13. She's been telling herself that Andrew was already dead, so Lash isn't him. His death may break something inside her finally, though. Where did you hear about a "Fallen Agent"? Edit: Oh, right, Daisy's vision. May is a good bet, or Mack may be a likely candidate actually. I'd bet they won't kill Coulson or Daisy at least, and they've already almost killed Fitzsimmons too many times for it to have the same impact.jW
  14. Yeah, if Hive had pulled off the kill I'd have been less annoyed, but the chain dude? That was weak. jW
  15. Kinda can't figure out what they're going to be able to do about Hive now. Lash had the ability to kill him, but didn't? And now he's gone, so Hive seems mostly unstoppable to me. Maybe a nuke would do the trick. jW
  16. Cap and his team are fugitives though, and while maybe Iron Man won't try to track them down again himself, there's going to be huge ramifications if police forces around the world consider him a criminal, or especially if they have orders to shoot on sight. jW
  17. Chimichanga!
  18. Formerly one-armed. Now he has a stub that grows a bit each highstorm. :-P (I know that's not quite accurate, but it's funny.) jW
  19. No idea why you got a bunch of downvotes there. I offset one, because that's exactly how I interpreted it too. jW
  20. Looked at my bookmarks folder and a couple more I don't think were mentioned: Ctrl+Alt+Del Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal (don't always agree with their politics, but they're amusing anyways) Zap! (finished) Gone with the Blastwave (rarely updated) jW
  21. Here, to be specific: Civil War Reactions thread jW
  22. To continue the metaphor, Taravangian's plan would be akin to pruning a plant to make it hardier, while the Knights Radiant will try to shelter it and prevent it from being damaged any more than is unavoidable. jW
  23. I'd be 99% certain that he doesn't, based on the WoB that's says "he doesn't have Hemalurgy". That's somewhat weird wording for a magic like Hemalurgy that doesn't seem to require Initiation, but I'd say it almost certainly means no spikes in him either. jW
