    Pretty much trying to Aon yourself onto another planet would involve figuring out exactly where it is and where you want to land on it, work out the angle and distance, and draw it out. You have to factor in the fact that due to the distance being multiple lightyears where you see it to be isn't actually where it is, and that since both Sel and the target are both moving through space ridiculously quickly, by the time you finish drawing the numbers would be off, so you gotta calculate ahead and have perfect timing to not risk sending yourself into the vacuum of space. And then you can't come back once you get there due to distance decay of AonDor strength, and even if you hack it to work without the large Elantrian Aon it might still not be strong enough. And you'll need to math it out again. There is nothing basic about any Aon when used for complex applications, let alone using Tia to skip outer space.

    I suppose in hindsight a feruchemical atium spike does probably have to be made out of atium huh. Probably can't hold 300 years if TLR's entire bracer is recharged every two weeks for a 1000+ year stretch. The amount of attribute he'll need to tap would've increased exponentially by now.

    One of my former highschool teachers reportedly had to narrate an audiobook once. He made it to the last page and then wound up going into Fresh Prince of Bel Air. I'd assume he edited that out to actually hand the recording in, but I never found out.

    Partly supported by the fact that the one bag of atium Marsh picked up from that kandra isn't likely able to maintain his lifespan for as long as he probably intends to stick around. A large portion of it would have to go towards metalmind forging, unless he had spikes made of the stuff to begin with for storing (unlikely).

    How do you know it's range is what's boosted? For all we know it just increases the immediate clarity. And maybe pierces copperclouds perhaps?

    Why would a couple of alien godlike beings who really had no business being here cause major, world-changing repercussions? The slight shift in the magic system I vaguely remember seeing mentioned somewhere today and the seon/skaze outbreak are big enough.
