  1. I know, right? Though I'm still not sure why Twei or Seonid didn't protect me. Meta knew this would be the last night because of how many people we were killing, and it doesn't matter if the villagers die. They still win. The lovers have to survive.
  2. Absolutely. You're up.
  3. Who: Lady Kyara and Lord Bradek Wilson What: Trying for an heir When: Third action Where: Keep Wilson Why: To produce offspring as heirs to strengthen the house and for alliances with other houses Names: Male - Elerek, Female - Alysha
  4. It is not. The next hint is a warning to Delightful: it's 6 hours long. And it's a little cheesy, but rather fantastic at the same time. For a plot-based hint, the golden retriever was not always a golden retriever. He used to be a ruler himself.
  5. Well then. Clearly I shouldn't have gone to Jurassic World again tonight. Can't believe that kill got stolen for me. I was totally gearing up to give him a very personal and up-close relationship with fire too. Disappointed. It's a good thing Araris is already dead, because if he wasn't, I'd probably kill him for killing Claincy. In fact, Araris is on my Original Wilson's kill list now. She doesn't take kindly to people stealing kills out from under her.
  6. Despite Ren's evidence, I'm going to retract my vote on Clanky. I noticed in my skim-through of the game that when Winter called out my suspicions, she hesitated saying anything incriminating about Luckat and really calling Luckat out, but she didn't have any reservations on Clanky. It's not certain, but where she protected one teammate, I'd think she'd protect the other in the same post, and since she didn't, I don't think Clanky is her teammate. Regardless, I'll let the poison decide. I'm not sure I'll be on to place another vote, and right now with the numbers as low as they are, any vote I place will decide the lynch and I don't particularly feel comfortable with that. If I were to vote, I'd vote Emerald. I'll try to check the thread, but I've got a somewhat busy night tonight so I might not be able to. We'll see.
  7. Nope. You're sort of on the right track though. The group is being hunted by the incompetent offspring of a non-human king. EDIT: Additional hint: The offspring love to swear and their favorite epithet is telling people to taste Legolas. Sort of. The medium is a miniseries.
  8. I'd RP my response to this, but some of the things I want to say will be awkward trying to RP. Meta, you and I play this game very differently. When you're in a position of authority, you believe in holding secrets back from the village and centering all information. I believe in full disclosure, except on the most critical pieces of information. I believe in discussion. You believe in lynching and killing to find information. I cannot even describe how opposed I am to that idea. Role information is entirely pointless without discussion to back it up and give it relevance. You're upset that I revealed that the Elantrians have a kill ability to the entire thread. I can understand that. However, Neo made his comment here in the thread, implying that I'm the Odiv who was trying to hide out in Elantris. As I just discovered their kill ability, when I read that, I feared for my life. So you can bet that I'm going to defend myself here in the thread. Just like I have every time I've been accused of being the Odiv. You didn't even give me a chance to defend myself to you before you went and accused me here in the thread about something that, once again, I wasn't. Did you expect me to just sit back and take it? Did you expect me to not fight back? However, even with fighting back, I still consider every word I say. Never make the mistake of thinking that I haven't thought through my words before I post. I did consider not revealing the fireballs. Had I been the only one taken by the Shaod last night, I probably wouldn't have said anything about them. But the fact is that Clanky was taken as well, and he's a pretty big Cultist candidate. If he is a Cultist, the Cultists already know about all the Elantrian abilities, so withholding them here only keeps information from the village. You may not care about that because you know all the abilities so you hold all the information. But once again, this is a playstyle difference. You believe in keeping information to yourself and a very small group of people that you control. I do not. Full disclosure. That's how I play. Plain and simple. And if you want to debate about how Clanky might not be a Cultist, then I'll debate with you about how you cut off all communication to me for the last 4 cycles just because I might be the Odiv. I don't particularly like being cut off from every aspect of the game besides the thread. I work best when I know what's going on. I got blindsided by your near-certain (and wrong) accusation and that accusation ended up siccing both Hael and Neo on me. I'm not a fan of that. So don't berate me for not playing the game how you play it and defending myself against false accusations. I've been honest this entire time. I've been open this entire time. And what has it gotten me? A whole lot of silence. A whole lot of Odiv-accusals. I'm not on your team but I've been helping you this whole game. Or at least trying to, if you hadn't neutered my ability to help. I'd vote for you right now just to show my displeasure with your leadership, but that would be pointless. So I'll place my three votes where they'll do a bit of good by putting more pressure on Clanky.
  9. Except for the fact that both of us weren't poisoned, and the Shaod strikes randomly.... Once again, I am not the Odiv. I'd suggest lynching me to find out, but I'd really prefer not to die and I don't think even Meta is willing to take that risk with me. And if any of you Elantrians decide to use your sweet fireballs on me, you'll regret it when I die and you realize I'm telling the truth.
  10. A repairman, his daughter, a golden retriever, and a disguised wolf plot to depose the ruler of an enchanted land.
  11. For refusing to die in Long Game 2.
  12. When are you going to play another elimination game? I need to get you back for eating my body and stealing my compounding spikes We miss you.
  13. Ah. Yeah, Night 4 was the only night I didn't have his scan in, but I assumed that it wasn't Mek because you'd never mentioned him as being clear. Unless I'm blind. Which is entirely possible....
  14. When did Mckeedee get cleared? Also, in regards to Silver, he posted 3 times on Day 7, so he's still got at least two turns before he gets replaced. Mek is actually the next one slated to be replaced due to inactivity, assuming he hasn't been using PMs. He hasn't posted since Day 6. So he should be replaced after the night. But we don't have any more pinch-hitters so maybe he won't be.
  15. I prefer the Long Games as well. More time to analyze and figure out what's going on, plus they fit better with real life, despite the fact that the typically take at least a month to play. And you can get a lot more scheming and manipulation in. The games tend to be a little more complex, whether through mechanics or role distribution and such, and that makes things more interesting for me to figure how everything meshes and all the fun problems you can encounter and have to work out. Your head does. I'm not sure about the rest of you. It's more opinions on threat rep as opposed to policies. There's nothing official and I don't think we'll ever have anything official about them. I take threat reps with a grain of salt. There are people who I view as threats because they are typically very clever players, but just because they're threats doesn't mean that I'll try to kill them immediately in any game I play where I'm evil. That's rather dependent on role and activity and what they do. Not everyone who has a high threat level is going to be a high threat every game. Just like not everyone with a low threat level is going to stay low. Players adapt and get better at fooling others when necessary. That's just an aspect of the game. Basically, I don't believe in acting solely based on the threat level. That might be because I know that I'm universally feared but I'm not actually as big a threat on team village as people seem to think I am. I can be, and when I get my sights set on someone, I rarely back down, but I get manipulated by eliminators just as much as anyone, if not more, based on how I play the game and things I refuse to do, and I don't really see that changing even though I recognize what's causing it. So just because someone is considered a dangerous player, it doesn't necessarily mean they're always a dangerous player and acting as if they are might not necessarily be wise. But those are just my own feelings on it.
  16. I started the lynch on Karlin because I legitimately thought he was the Gyorn. He was being far too quiet and he had a Seon, which I'd thought the Gyorn would have. I willingly submit myself to your scan, because you won't find my alignment as anything other than a Citizen of Arelon. I'm not sure who the Odiv is, but it's not me. I'd ask that if there's been protection on me, though, that that doesn't get removed. I'm not the Odiv, but I guarantee the Cultists will still want me dead and I don't think you really want that to happen. Jain. Have fun with my three votes.
  17. If they were doing it in the game, we'd act on it, but Hero already asked them to stop in the game and they did. Yeah, their signatures and avatars are still flipped and they're referring to each other by the other's name outside of the games, but not only is that not in the game, their usernames are still the same so if you focus just on that, it's easy enough to tell them apart, despite Kas calling Wyrm Kas and vice versa. I have a feeling it's only going to last for a little longer anyway. They're both having identity crises. Moreso Kas than Wyrm, but still. Of course, Kas might just embrace an existential crisis like that....Hm. Should be interesting to watch.
  18. That question has no correct answer due to the way it's been worded. You're asking me to measure it on a scale on which the gif you want me to compare it to doesn't even fit. So how am I supposed to measure it? I refuse to answer until I'm given an appropriate scale of judgement. Preferably one that replaces the word "glorious" with "terrifying," but I leave it to you to find the right scale. .....Oh, now that's an interesting question. The problem is that I don't have to much to pay with. You've taken Claincy's blood from me (or at least the future holding of it), and I've already bribed you with the future gift of Meta's heart, and I lost my MEC suit and all of my money to a really shoddily placed bet. I'd offer a game of restraint, wherein I'd refuse to kill you even if it would be strategic, but I can see that potentially having game-breaking issues, so I shan't. Hm. The person who delivers Kas' head to me will be paid with one of the following (your choice): An RP of at least 500 words in length about how much the Bloodthirsty Goddess Original Wilson is indebted to you. A song parody written by me for you. You can even choose the song I parody. And if you're really lucky, I might even record it. Possibly. I desperately hope no one takes that second offer.....
  19. Well, since Gamma's highly paranoid, and he's killed me twice (for no good reason!), I shall have to go with Meta. This Divinity is unhappy with the Fiend. (Also, I'm insulted that Meta can pick himself and I'm not even an option for him. Fie to you, Wyrmimir) If I could replay any game, I would play MR5 again, and the only major thing I would change is my use of the Syphon. Instead of Syphoning Bort's life, I would Syphon Gamma's, ridding him of his pesky detonator glass and forcing him to use up his Reviver early on. I would still arrange a last minute lynch on him as well. I would also not make that alliance with Araris, because he tried to kill me twice before admitting that he'd broken it. Definitely won't be me. I'm pretty sure your next game is the Shardship one, so Gamma and Meta can fight over which one you get to kill.
  20. I'm noticing that some people are just giving up if their description isn't guessed. Remember that the whole idea is to also add hints if people aren't getting it. Based on the OP, the idea was to go through these at least once a day (since the hints would be updated every 1-2 hours). The game has been dragging lately, but I think by throwing in the additional hints, it'll move it along a lot faster.
  21. I've never taken the huge Harry Potter sorting hat test, but on Pottermore, I'm Gryffindor, and most other quizzes I take, I get Gryffindor. My secondary is probably Ravenclaw, but that's a pretty minor second. I'm very, very Gryffindor.
  22. Since Wyrm is unavailable, and I've already asked him about this, I'll c/p my question and his response. Q: Can we only build a canal from one city to another city on each action? A: Generally speaking, yes. You could build more canals, but it would cost you more than if it were just one, and there would be an additional 'inefficency' cost. So you can do it the way your request has it laid out, but it'll be insanely inefficient. Kyara had been awake for far too long. Between Lord Urbain's graffiti on her Keep and the rest of the drama unfolding around the city (What had happened with Farrsolin? And what exactly was Erikell's role in all of it?), she and Bradek were almost to the point of throwing in the towel, finding a quiet town in one of the outer dominances, settling down there, and ignoring everything going on in Luthadel. But she knew they couldn't do that. They needed to stay to support the Lord Ruler. He needed them. Kyara had been the first step forward and even though she hadn't received a bead in exchange for her loyalty like many of the other lords, she knew it was because those lords needed the bribe to stay true. She didn't. The Lord Ruler trusted her to stay loyal even without additional power flowing through her veins, and she wasn't about to let him down. Still, she could tell many of the Allomancers looked down on her and the rest for their lack of abilities. They thought they were better than the rest of them. She refused to let their snide remarks make her back down. If they thought she was lesser than them for not being an Allomancer herself, she would prove them wrong. Not through force, as that wasn't her nature. But through sheer indomitable will. She would make her mark.
  23. I would've died Night 2 3 if Orlok hadn't given me his pendant. So my prediction for getting hit was accurate. I simply survived it. But I'm not surviving another hit. Not unless a Warrior's got my back (unlikely), and I'm going to take another hit. It's only a matter of time. I'm not sure what direction the hit's going to come from, but I'll die. I'm saying that I can see why the Gyorn would think that I would be an excellent choice. In his position, I would be very likely to choose myself as Odiv. But he'll regret that if he does it. It's a miracle I've survived this long. But my luck is going to run out. It always does. I'm not the strategic choice for Odiv, regardless of my now-triple vote. Take all my upvotes. All of them. I can't believe you beat me to it. EDIT: fixed my horrendous memory of when I got hit. Night 3. Not Night 2....Shameful.
