    Unlike Seonid, I'm not so certain that one of the eliminators didn't jump on the Meta-lynch train. It's unlikely, but it is still possible. However, my eye is on Seonid for the eliminator position as opposed to Emerald. Hael and Honey Badger are worth looking into as well, but personally, I'm most suspicious of Kipper. He seemed too certain about it and then when it was proven that Winter was actually a Cultist he didn't hesitate to gloat about his initial rightness. I think most of the rest abstained from getting involved at all--including posting. While Winter was talking about the deal the Cultists were making with the Gyorn and the Lovers here in the thread, I was talking to her in the PM, and I know she was in communication with at least one of her teammates in the doc. I tracked who was online or had been online in the last hour of that time period. The people who did not get involved at all: Mckeedee (who was online a lot around there and constantly checking the thread and board, but never posted, which I think is somewhat out of character for him, considering how vocal he's been in past cycles with similar circumstances) Clanky Zas (unknown if he got involved, as he's in Elantris) Luckat The following people were also online at that period of time (or around there) and only posted in the thread to place a vote on Winter: Dow Araris Out of the above, I'm most interesting in Mckeedee and Luckat, though the rest are definitely on my watchlist as well. Winter also mentioned that at least one of the Cultists was very interested in killing me last night. I understand this could be fruitless, but I find that fact interesting. Did they kill me because I was vocal? Perhaps, though Kas was just as much vocal, if not more-so. Plus, my voice ended up helping get Maill, an innocent lynched. That's a help to them more than anything. So was it something I said? Perhaps. I'll have to go over that, because the only thing that I really remember saying was to Bort, but he engaged me in that argument a little too heavily for an eliminator so I'm not sure he is. Unless they were trying to make him seem like an eliminator, but that gets us nowhere. Was it my threat level? Maybe, though that still begs the question of why me over people like Meta, Kas, Alvron, Twei, and Claincy. I'm far more a threat on team evil than I am on team good, and I've always said that, and it's always true (though I'm trying to fix that, but I tend to not be given much of a chance). I still feel that if I was voicing suspicions in the wrong direction, my threat level would work in their favor so they wouldn't have to worry about killing me. Unless they just always have a semi-irrational fear of me, though if that's the case, out of the unconfirmed players, that makes me wonder about Luckat and Claincy the most. Jain's on that list as well as is Araris. Anyway, that's my current list. My strongest suspicions are towards Mckeedee, Luckat, and Kipper with secondaries of Claincy, Clanky, and Seonid, backed up lastly by Dow, Jain, and Araris. And Ostrich is someone I think needs be scanned, though I'm not sure he's an eliminator, since he's gone dead silent, and that's not how he was in MR6 (though he was quiet in that game, but he made sure to speak up once in a while as well).

    Kiireon pursed her lips and eyed the trembling man before her. She was intrigued by his words, she couldn't deny that. Intrigued and a little flattered too. She leaned forward. "Retribution shall not fall on your head, my dear subject. At least, not by my hand." She grinned and continued, "With such sweet words, it's no wonder Kaian is so taken with you. If you didn't seem to be in such bliss with him, I might consider a little something myself." She shrugged. "Ah, well. Love. 'Tis a fickle thing, and hard to predict. Comes at the worst times for the strangest of people....." She trailed off and stared at the wall for a moment before remembering the man before her. "I wish you two the best, should you be a true Arelish Citizen. And if not.....well. I'll just have to console the poor Kaian after you are gone."

    The Benevolent Lady Kiireon doesn't wish to tell those who seek to make reparations what they must or should do. She allows them to make the reparations they feel are necessary and if those are not enough, then she will strike in a most unbenevolent fashion. Are you saying that you want to be lovers with Kaian and Kiireon? Kaian might not appreciate you poetry-cheating on him. I have no idea who Sydney Scoville is, and Google doesn't seem to know either.... This list does not exist. And if it did, everybody would be on it. Except for those who can't have sugar. And dairy. And gluten. But everyone else. I don't discriminate when it comes to cookies. Cookies all around!

    Yes, because if she'd gone to you to talk about how useless she felt, with a purely hopeless and lost tone and that she was thinking about bailing on the game, you would've been convinced she's a Cultist. I'll keep that in mind.

    Her Royal Highness, Lady Kiireon doesn't like having her name misspelled. She keeps muttering something about how retribution is important. I'm not sure what she's talking about, but it sounds like the "reo" needs to be there. Kas decided he didn't want to be lovers with Kipper and has taken to forging a bond with Hael. It seems to be swimmingly for them both, judging by the poetry they keep composing for each other. I think I'm going to echo Meta's request: Get a room, you two.

    And now​ would be a good time for our vote manipulation roles to jump in. Winter's vote is prime for the Duke/Duchess who already used their power, especially since she'll die so she can't mess with your vote. I'd suggest that any village Princes/Princesses or Dukes/Duchesses pull from the people who don't vote so that the Cultist vote manipulators can't get 3 votes on Phatt. While it wouldn't be horrible to lose a priest to the Hoed, I'd prefer not to, and Meta can cover out here while Phatt gets in Elantris. EDIT: Also, have we heard anything about Phatt's scan last night?

    I just searched the PM for any mention of Phatt's name and before today, the only thing I'd said about him was that I was suspicious of his involvement in the first bandwagon (since that's what I was telling everybody at that point, until I knew for sure if he was the priest).

    Go ahead and scan me. You're going to find a Citizen Queen. If Phatt's not another priest, I'll eat my hat. Meta. Winter. Congrats, Winter. That was some nice manipulation you pulled in that PM. Never trusting you again. Pulling the helpless and lost card to appeal to my kind side only works once. PSA: Beware of anyone holding Seon Ien from here on out. That is Winter's Seon and she's probably got a Cultist as an heir. She could change that now to a villager, but if she does, the villager should just request a scan. And if she doesn't, then the Cultists are crippled in communication.

    That's not necessarily true. Hero and Tulir probably distributed the roles entirely randomly. While it would be slightly unfortunate for an inexperienced player to be the Gyorn, I have every confidence in the players on here that if they were given that role, they would rise to the challenge of it.

    I'd be surprised if the Gyorn didn't have a Seon since they're pretty much running completely blind until they choose their Odiv. I'd imagine that they'd need some way to make contacts to figure out who would be best to work with as their Odiv. Yes, it could be possible for the Gyorn to not have a Seon, but that makes their already hard job all that much more difficult.

    It's not his points on you that makes him suspicious, Winter. It's how he's focused on you and evaded other questions from anyone else about his behavior. To move things past the lynch discussion though, I noticed something else that needs discussion. Seons. We've all been skirting around this issue, and I understand why: we don't want to do something like what happened with the Spanreeds in LG5 (for those who don't know, the village lynched all the Spanreed holders in that game, expecting the eliminators to have one. The eliminators did. But they never used it, so the village just ended up lynching their own messengers one by one). However, there's an easy way to avoid that. We don't have to name the Seon holders. We just have to name Seons. I know of 7 Seons currently. Here they are: Nae Opa Ashe Ien Sao Ena Kii If anyone has been contacted by a different Seon than one listed above, please say what. This is very pertinent to what I'm about to say. Of these 7, two of their holders died and were found to be Regular Citizens. Three have claimed to be Regulars, one claimed a role (not Regular) to someone and then indicated to someone else that they were not the role they claimed, and one was the Priest. I'm almost certain that other than the Priest and the Gyorn, only regulars got Seons. Assuming that there are only 7 seons in the game, I have the Gyorn and the Cultist narrowed down to two seons. I'm not going to say which two, because I want to hear what everyone else has to say first. And obviously, for the Seons that have switched hands, this doesn't say anything about their current holder. I'm only paying attention to the role and alignment of where the Seon started.

    Meta, why have you been blindly tearing after Winter, but cautioning the rest of us against tunnel-vision? Kipper, what exactly is it about her explanation that feels eliminator-ish to you? She just got done GMing a game. It was her first time ever GMing. Do you really think that that kind of an experience wouldn't tweak a person's playstyle? Your reasoning for voting for her is a stretch at best. And for those of you looking at Winter's change and thinking this is a sudden mid-game change, let me direct your attention here. That's her first post in the game. While her post may not be as detailed in analysis as Kas or mine, Winter has never been one to analyze or strategize. She just hasn't. But let's look at her past two games: LG11, where she was evil, and MR6, where she was the GM. I have a rather strong feeling that the back-to-back nature of these games where she had to strategize with her team as a Spiked and then where she saw strategies and analysis and the entire big picture as a GM taught her a lot. And now she wants to try it out. I don't think lynching someone when they have perfectly good reasons for changing their playstyle is a good precedent to set. Now, lynching someone who has absolutely no reason to change their playstyle and is playing radically different than they ever have in the past? Sure. But that's not Winter. There are plenty of reasons for her to be playing the way she is. And if you're wondering about why she stopped analyzing and strategizing, well. She's not stupid. She knows people pay attention to playstyles and she knew hers was different and she knew people would find her change suspicious. So she tried to stop. But that didn't work either. That just got Meta on her back (though I suspect that he's coming down on her like he is because he's a Cultist who suspects she has an important role rather than a regular who just wants to try something different), and it got her feeling miserable about the game enough that she almost bailed on it and had pinch-hitter take over. Yes, I've been in contact with her. I'm 99% certain she is not a Cultist and I'm 90% she's a villager. Lynching her would be a mistake.

    I didn't convince him. I didn't have any contact with him. He sent it to me of his own volition, probably because he had a feeling that I was a villager based on my comments in the thread and he knew I'd need it eventually.

    There was another pendant, yes. Orlok sent it to me Day One. And I thank him heartily for it, because I knew I'd be getting attacked eventually (probably tonight), and I was right. It would be nice if we can get the results of Phatt's scan asap, since I'd really like to lynch one of the Cultists. I'm not a fan of nearly dying.

    I do remember thinking that something was off when I first read it, but since I agreed with the first bit of it and I was trying to write up a different post at the same time and do two or three other things, I wasn't able to think about most of those posts done in the last couple hours yesterday. But I'd say you're right. At that point in time, I was sort of writing Meta off as being an eliminator since he'd been so helpful, but I am (and was) far more certain about Wonko and Phatt, and while I disagree with the reasoning behind lynching Zas when it's a simple thing to figure out Zas' alignment, I don't think they meant it as a ruse to distract from the Maill lynch (which was a mislynch anyway, and we probably should've been able to figure that out since no one was contesting it at all). A part of me is also looking at the use of exclamation points, particularly in that last sentence, but Meta loves exclamation points, so that's probably a pointless thing to look at. And that is another very excellent point. Blast, I'm cursing myself at writing Meta off because if I hadn't, that would've red-flagged me. As it was, I just sort of went "Oh, he's just getting distracted by Kas' trolling" and I'm just sitting here ignoring it a la Kas' Wit trolling (seriously, though: anyone who's trying to figure out Kas right now, don't even bother. He excels at trolling in the thread, and it's a little pointless to attempt figuring out until we have more information. If nothing else, someone can vote for him tomorrow and we'll know if he's a Dula or if Snoopy's vote was cancelled because he's a Lover or he's lying about the Keeper vote). But, yeah. It's obvious that the warriors need to focus on Phatt rather than two people who may or may not be Lovers. I will second that suggestion for poisoning Meta.

    A list? There have been two vote manipulation roles using their powers thus far this game. We have no indication of more. The Prince(ss) has used their power all three Days and the Duke/Duchess used theirs once. Since the Prince(ss) is almost assuredly a Cultist, that's giving the Cultists one name. And that's assuming that the person is even a villager to begin with. I'd be happy to take the discussion to PMs. Alas, I don't have a Seon. And most of the people in the game don't have Seons. So that's much easier said than done. Pretty much just leaves the thread, and for two names, one of which is definitely a Cultist and another who could be? Worth it. Kas, I'd like to submit Bort's name for the poison.

    Forgive me if I take that comment with a cup of salt. I don't trust you one iota, and while I appreciate the anonymity you're giving the Duke/Duchess, the fact remains that we asked the vote manipulation roles to not use their ability. The Duke/Duchess chose to. They took a risk. While I think they are probably a villager, there's a chance that they're an eliminator too and your protection is actually a hindrance. Or you could be an eliminator and you and your teammates are figuring out who the Duke/Duchess is at this very moment in the doc. Each is game different. Each game has different problems that the village has to overcome. Not only that, but depending on the players, the dynamic will be different. Yes, there are some players who are absolutely against talking about any roles whatsoever. And there are some roles I feel that way about. In this particular game, we shouldn't be trying to publicly discover who the Priest and the Warriors are. Unfortunately, the Priest is now public. I'm positive that we can't do much more damage than that (unless the warriors became public knowledge as well, and then we're rather SOL). So yeah, I don't think talking about vote manipulation roles when villagers aren't supposed to be using them right now anyway will hurt much. On the contrary, it could help find an eliminator or two.

    I disagree. The warriors focus should be on Phatt, though if a warrior has a seon and hasn't used it already, it would much appreciated if they'd get in touch with me. If both have seons, we can direct their protection better. It would be redundant to have Phatt protected twice tonight since that would leave him open for a hit tomorrow. The cultists could well just not even bother hitting at him tonight because they figure he'll be protected. And as for why I'm offering myself: normally i wouldn't do that, because I don't expect people to trust me, but Phatt cleared me. I suppose if you want to use Ren, that would work too, but we're the only two that have been absolutely cleared by Phatt. And since I'm sure there are people wondering if Phatt is actually the Priest, I was about 80% certain he was after my PM conversation with him the night he got taken by the Shaod, but I wasn't about to say that here in the thread nor was I about to admit that I was anything more than uncertain about his alignment here in the thread either, since I was trying to protect him until I could guarantee that he was, in fact, the Priest. Unfortunately, he's been outed and now we just need to keep him alive, since he's still the best way to find the Odiv without just killing all of the converts.

    It's true, but I feel like if you were a Cultist, you wouldn't have cautioned me about it at all. And you didn't really blab my role. It was really just the timing of your comment. I count my role-out on my own head, though if I'd had a more important role, I would've found some way to keep it under-wraps. Queen may be the ruler, but in terms of what I can do, there are far bigger threats out there. It's all part of the plan. I'm simply waiting for him to cross me so I can say "Off with his head!" For one who claims to not want to be on my list, you're doing an awful lot to poke me at every opportunity. I'm starting to see your disclaimers for what they really are: a weak attempt at covering your true desires to be on every list I have. (Not that I have lists, and even if I did, I wouldn't fall to such clear manipulation.....or would I?) Considering that the Priest has been outed, and Hael's not trying to figure out the Warriors, I don't think it really matters if the Cultists learn who the Dula is or the Duke/Duchess. The discussion on the vote manipulations could help lead us to the Prince(ss), who I think multiple people agree is a Cultist. Is there a reason you don't want us discussing this? Could that reason perhaps be because, as I said last night, you are a Cultist?

    Spencer said that he didn't get a PM about the Duke/Duchess in Cycle 1, so that was the Prince(ss). I also think that the Prince(ss) is a Cultist. And I would also agree about Wonko, since when I was about to reveal my role to him and other pertinent information in a PM (yes, I know, I said don't roleclaim in PMs, but I had a momentary lapse of judgement and I was nearly certain Wonko was good anyway), rather than eagerly waiting to take my juicy morsels of info, he cautioned me against such foolhardy ideas, saying that he couldn't trust himself not to reveal anything to others accidentally. This strikes me as particularly village-like. A Cultist would surely champ at the bit for any good intel.
