True. My alternative theory for the Skybreakers being the ones who didn't forswear also involves a cooperation between the Knights and the highspren leadership in Shadesmar. I would probably post it, but it isn't all that original and most of it was borrowed from other people. Plus, I dislike posting theories because my e-book misbehaves and skips whole pages when I try to search for especific words instead of reading the book in order.

Dual wielding shardblades and honorblades (spoilers)
DreamEternal replied to NathanielHellman's topic in Stormlight Archive
I think they still had the same powers, but Ishar somehow gated their progression behind the oaths... Somehow. And I agree that Ishar did what is best, it is just that it doens't stop what is best from being scary.- 31 replies

Dual wielding shardblades and honorblades (spoilers)
DreamEternal replied to NathanielHellman's topic in Stormlight Archive
According to the in-world book Words of Radiance, the Herald Ishar threatened to destroy all surgebinders who refused to have the oaths thrust on to them, if I remember correctly. Heralds are scary...- 31 replies

The problem is that investiture isn't really enegy in many of its forms, while not being exactly matter either in others. You can create things out of pure investiture, like atium beads, but it also seems to manifest in the form of a wave or even an attribute of an object.

Oh. If that is true, there goes my joke theory. A pity, since I would try to find a way to link it with my (somewhat... Ok, not really) more serious suspicion that Renarin is part of one of Roshar's many conspiracies. Ghostblood=Illuminati, Sons of Honor= Knights Templar, anyone? Or would the Diagram be better for the Illuminati?

Vander, which book had the so called map of Europe? I just can't find it in the SA covers.

Although the meme is nice, I'd say that it explains why he isn't a evil guy. Big difference.

"Deport us... from the Highway?", questioned Robert Iradal. That was getting more unusual by the second. First he was trying to find his way to a shardpool, them trying to study an class four alleymatic entity that thought it was a shard, but surely wasn't, and now he had to deal with the constables?"That car is traped in a temporal paralel intersection intermediated by the cognitive realm. Just think hard enough and try to convince the car it isn't broken. Now, may I leave, because this place is way too crazy for me.". Truth to be told, he wasn't going to leave. He would come back with enough preparation to not die a temporaly displacing death should he say the wrong thing.

Theory: Wayne and murder under the influence of emotional allomancy
DreamEternal replied to Numuhuku's topic in Mistborn
You must understand there isn't much in the way of formal law in the Roughs. Perhaps he was indeed a criminal in the run in the lands overseen by the lawman that wanted to hang him, but while he was under Wax's protection and commited no crimes, he was as good as innocent from the point of view of the Roughs, wich in pratice only means "not important enough to be worth the trouble killing". -
WoA spoilers(kinda):

That is... hilarious. If I ever find that map on the cover, I will try to make a joke theory about it.

*Shadows of Self Spoilers* Anyone Else Think Harmony is Messed up?
DreamEternal replied to mattig89ch's topic in Mistborn
Again, that is just a theory. Skaa(I think..?) calls his version Star Trell.EDIT: and You Who Refuses to Read Mistborn, you should at least try the Stormlight Archive. It is fantasy, but the world is more alien than most Sci-Fi I know of. -
Killing a Steel Inquisitor. What would it take?
DreamEternal replied to Thermophile's topic in Mistborn
In my opinion, the best way is to cover the Inquisitor in arrows to distract him, hamper his mobility and force him to land, them throw as many pikeman at him as you can and hope they can impale him many at once to hold him down, them chop off his head or dismember him or crush him into a bloody pulp or just impale him so much his torso is but a bloody pulp. You could lose anything between dozens and hundreds of hazekillers, but it could work, in the same way mobbing a shardbearer with spearmen can work once in fifty years. -
I would disagree with this part, since I think his arc is nearing its closing point. He is somewhat short on personal issues and conflicts currently, only having the reunion with his parents to call personal right now. The bridgemen are as safe as a soldier could be, he assumed his role as a Radiant, now the he only needs to go back to where it all started to bring closure to his current arc.Yes, there will still be the visit to Kholinar and the True Desolation to deal with, but those aren't as personal, and while some characters like Dalinar can make any duty feel personal from their PoV, Kalading just can't. I am not saying we will stop seeing his PoV, but that he will stop stealing space some characters *cough*Adolin*cough*Szeth*cough* need and didn't get. EDIT: Saying this as someone who likes Kaladin, but just thinks this series can work better by cycling out characters who finished their arc in order to give others the spotlight. After all, the world is litteraly ending, and that means the lifes and stories of many should center on a few central events, not that many important events should orbit the lifes of a few.

Killing a Steel Inquisitor. What would it take?
DreamEternal replied to Thermophile's topic in Mistborn
Plus fifty to cover him with arrows, ten to impale him with wooden pikes so he can be immobile, and at least two hundred to die before the archers hit him enough times. -
He would most likely try to send a group of agents to kill him or make sure he is killed instead of taking over. Shards find it easier to circunvent their intents if they do so as indirecty as possible if Preservation is any indication.

Where's WalDo: The Kandra Worldhopper
DreamEternal replied to Kobold King's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Acvording to Rock, some of then can, and his visit to the waters of life is oart if that. According to Brandon, it is also because Horneaters(and Herdazians) are part parshendi. -
Nightwatcher Boon/Bane (Game)

Granted. Unsheated Nightblood is stuck to your hand. Enjoy your investiture while it lasts. I wish to stop procrastinating. -
I think the Stormfather is becoming redundant...

...I think the Stormfather has a lot of explaining to do then.

This is for Zane, and the love that was never meant to be: Sonata Arctica- Don't Say a Word EDIT: Some excerpts of the lyrics that reminded me of him: "Vade retro, alter ego, move aside, I'm choking on this life I think I tolerate your hate, as long as you're afraid All I wanted was to be with you and suffer every day..." "I read a book about a man, a love, a woman, how they died How I was waved aside, listen how the headless doves cry I truly see a madman in the mirror when I'm weak I spent a year in love before I realized it's me" "It won't be long now, love, like mist I slowly fill the room I place a black candle on your chest, The path of night is manifest"

Perhaps, but would he want to? Kelsier was all about meddling with things, but Rashek just gave me the impression of someone who was storming tired of being a eternal tyrant and so bored with existence he started to get sloppy, since he was so horrible at dealing with surprises he was unable to react to Vin mist-fueled push.

*Shadows of Self Spoilers* Anyone Else Think Harmony is Messed up?
DreamEternal replied to mattig89ch's topic in Mistborn
Unfortunately for Wayne, Brandon told us Ranette is homosexual. Not that he had any chance anyway He already told Wax he makes mistakes, and the nature of his powers makes it hard for him to act. Plus, we don't know the whole story. We can blame Sazed for being over-secretive, or for choosing agents without considering how much knowledge he can share, perhaps even say he is an incompetent god(he only had a few centuries to learn), but it is too soon to assume he isn't a good person like he was before Ascending.
