I decided that my original hint was too vague in one spot. Let me restate: Before the silver, there were many, but these two were made desolate.

    I always assumed that there was more than one alloy for the god metals. How else can lerasium have various enhancement and physical effects? Obviously, Mistborn and Misting creation is an enhancement effect, but where does the physical side of things come in? This is why I think that different ratios of lerasium to base metals may produce metals with different effects.

    I personally think that an Allomancy deck would have a better chance at making a really good deck, since 4 is a more important number there. (Granted, we will probably have to make a Feruchemy and Hemalurgy deck as well, and wait until there are enough Mistings and Ferrings of each metal to fill out the suits.)

    Actually, I was picturing this: Szeth draws Nightblood, Nightblood starts sucking up all of the Stormlight. One of the Unmade shows up, and Nightblood slurps up that Odium-Investiture like a milkshake, booming "DESTROY EVIL!" (Of course this assumes that the Unmade are sentient Investiture on a similar level to the Stormfather.)

    Before the reread is the option that I would have chosen. That's when I look for all of my Cosmere easter eggs. The first time through I like to just enjoy the story without predicting exactly what will happen (magic-wise, that is).
