I was thinking that it may apply to Eshonai (who was last seen falling into a chasm). To be honest, this feels like it could apply to way too many characters lol. Nale, Kaladin, Szeth, and Eshonai all somewhat fit the bill.

I'm currently caught up with finals, so I won't be able to read Edgedancer for another week or so. I was wondering if there was any new information on what Gavilar's Black Sphere is that was introduced in the Novella. I'll be reading it ASAP to search for anything, but don't have the time right now.

You know, other than cutting out an entire story arc. Also, the PS4 game has better character models and a better framerate.

Hm, if we think that Oathbringer is a legendary sword, that implies that there must have been a legendary swordsman who once wielded it. And since shardblades are so large, I think we have a good idea of who that was. He even has a unique shardplate variation (berserker armor, for those unfamiliar with the manga): (Please do this, Brandon, I NEED something to distract me from the travesty of the 2016 Berserk Anime)

It's really just convenience on Brandon's part. The big thing with KR's is that they need some sort of trauma to absorb a spren, and death's a super easy (and universal) way to inflict trauma.

At least one of Kaladin's oaths (definitely the fifth one, at least) will deal with leading. Concerning the OP's idea, I'd actually argue that the opposite would be true if the 4th oath dealt with that, meaning that Kaladin would swear to protect others even at the cost of his own life. After all, as All-Might/Alex Louis Armstrong said, "Embody what it means to be a hero. Nothing is nobler than self-sacrifice."

He's going to have a fight with Kaladin (because why not), and Kal's going to absolutely annihilate him, and somehow unbond him from his shardblade. Then, in a moment of desperation, Amaram is going to reach for the stick next to him to use as a weapon, only for the stick to wrap around his neck and strangle him to death. In short, death by stick.

Rawrbert's idea sounds good at first, but I find it hard to believe that there wasn't a single Radiant who made his armor look like Optimus Prime, so I'm going to have to disregard it

If I remember correctly, there was a suspicious medical worker for Taravangian that Shallan saw in WoK that may be a herald (one of the healing ones, probably, like Paliah). Don't have the book atm, so can't join up with you on your quest.

I'm still in (or head of, at this point? no idea lol) the "unmade-in-a-box" camp. For OP, since they probably haven't seen my posts on it, the idea's that Gavilar had Yelig-nar (Blightwind) trapped in the sphere, and the Parshendi finding out about it caused them to assassinate him, since we know they really didn't want anything to do with the unmade and (presumably, from Amaram's actions) that Gavilar wanted to cause another desolation.

He's getting resurrected as Sataneas. Lightflame said so, and as far as I'm concerned, his word is law.

Kaladin and Shallan saw 2 unmade heading towards Narak during the highstorm in the chasms. I'm pretty sure the second unmade (described as "alien and sleek") is Re-Shephir. Also, if the unmade-in-a-box is correct, Yelig-nar's in Gavilar's sphere (and also yapping at Szeth later on).

The tower, the crown, and the spear

I always figured that it was referring to Kaladin finally becoming a Radiant (the title) and saving Dalinar (the crown) after Sadeas' betrayal (at the tower). The spear is self-explanatory. -

I'm more referring to how you don't "win" space invaders. More waves just keep coming with more and tougher enemies until you die.

Yeah, the Heralds could presumably make much better use of their honorblades than a normal person, and each herald was worth an army by themselves, since they could repel desolations before the radiants formed (albeit with much higher casualty numbers).
