  1. He's pretty generous. He just gives people death instead of other gifts.
  2. We have to butter Brandon up first. Rather than directly ask, we first need to throw out a joke question to disguise our intentions, then hope he slips up on the follow up. So maybe ask "what would odium taste like if Nightblood tried to eat some of him?" My vote is on something spicy
  3. There's definitely external influence. The diagram predicted that a Bridgman would become a radiant. There is literally no way to logically determine that through any evidence he may have possessed at the time.
  4. I'm just assuming it is, since absorbing investiture seems to be Nightblood's thing. This may be a good Brandon question, but he'd probably just troll us with his answer
  5. I'm still somewhat thinking that Nightblood's going to eat odium, or maybe just part of him. I do NOT want to see what that would create, though
  6. I don't know much about 1-armed Herdazians, but I can confirm from personal experience that taking a 1-legged Herdazian out to the bar is a bad idea. They get super tipsy real quickly.
  7. What does that mean? WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME?!?!
  8. Can't think of any right now, I'm stumped
  9. Huh, I thought his wife's name was Martha
  10. This does raise a question though. If we have say an edgedancer and windrunner in plate (so, Lift and Kal), could Kal lash Lift's armor to throw her somewhere quickly? So basically this, only if it was actually good:
  11. At the moment, he's just one of Nalan's goons. Yeah, 1 is the case right now. 2 can't work as a Skybreaker, since Nightblood is of Endowment, not honor. And he's broken. 3 is because Vasher is a returned, it has nothing to do with Nightblood. 4 could happen.
  12. I'm gonna pound this one until it's (hopefully not) disproved, but Cohesion+Tension=Technomancer Stonewards.
  13. I'm totally calling Nalan that now. Thanks for the laugh. Anyways, I remember seeing some speculation that Paliah (I think?) was working in Mr.T's hospital/death factory/soylent green processing plant. Very scant (if any) evidence, though it would fit with the heralds becoming corrupted.
  14. The Skybreakers are not the Skybreakers. Nalan's lackeys are different from the Radiant order. They have a different agenda. If Adolin faces any scrutiny, it will come from the other highprinces or allies of Sadeas.
  15. Wait, the captivityspren look like wires? Well then, let's gather up a bunch of them and build a shardwall! And make the voidbringers pay for it!
  16. Sorry for not specifying, I was referring specifically to the shield, not the spear. I don't see any reason for Eshonai to be holding either.
  17. Yes, Dalinar saluted to Kaladin at the end of that scene.
  18. I dropped some while constructing my tin-foil theories. Sorry about that.
  19. I always thought it was the scene where Dalinar killed the Parshendi archers aiming at Kaladin (during one of the bridge runs). The bacground figure's holding a spear and has a shield strapped on their back, which IIRC was Kal's get-up when he was distracting the archers.
  20. She actually looks like Martha. It's going to get the Voidbringers to reconcile with the Radiants once Venli sees her. Anyways, I'm not super inclined to believe that Renarin bonded some voidspren. It's possible that Glys has already been corrupted by Sja-anat, but I feel like it's way too early for that (we've only seen Sja-anat in a flashback). Also, if we assume that Renarin is farther along Truthwatching than Ym was, is it possible that Truthwatcherspren have some sort of defining feature that may give away too much info? Maybe they can change shapes (or colors, or something) while they read the future?
  21. No, those are only the ones that have been mentioned by name so far. And if the unmade-in-a-box theory is true, it would have to be one of them (minus Moelach, Nergaoul, and Sja-anat). I'm not entirely sure how the communication works. Szeth definitely hasn't bonded Yelig-nar, though. There's a WoB on that. It's hard to say what's going on, since we don't know a ton about how the unmade work.
  22. Stonewards have tension+cohesion. The thought is that they'd basically be able to transmute materials on a very fine level, essentially giving the ability to rapidly create new tech. I just love the idea of technomancy, and outside of basically Iron Man (he sort of qualifies), there really haven't been many good representations put out there.
  23. Technomancer Stonewards would be my favorites, so I'm hoping they're able to do that
  24. It's somewhat circumstantial, but there are a couple of hints (or "hints", I guess). There's the voices, which are basically Yelig-nar's trademark atm. Also, the Parshendi assassinated Gavilar because they thought that he would bring the unmade back (they say "their gods", but it's almost definitely the unmade). Gavilar possessing an unmade would definitely be enough proof to cause an assassination, and we've only been introduced to a few unmade so far. Yelig-nar: AKA Blightwind. Speaks through voices of those he has consumed. Whereabouts unknown. Moelach: Causes death rattles, and is on the move. Not in the sphere. Nergaoul: Causes the Thrill. Also on Move. Not in the sphere. Re-Shephir: Likely creates midnight essences. If my theory is correct, is on the move. Dai-gonarthis: Known as the "Black Fisher". Whereabouts unknown, possibly near water (just guessing from the name)? Sja-Anat: Corrupts spren, whereabouts unknown, though could be responsible for creating Parshendi stormspren. So if Gavilar has an unmade, it's one of Blightwind, Re-Shephir, Dai-gonarthis, or Sja-Anat. However, Sja-Anat was introduced in WoR, so I doubt that it is in the sphere, as that would be poor storytelling. And if Re-shephir was seen in the chasms, that would leave Yelig-nar or Dai-gonarthis in the sphere. Of the two, only Yelig-nar fits the bill. Yes, he did. Nightblood is essentially a broken shardblade (just from a different shard). It's WoB, he said so at a Q&A. http://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/23013-wobs-from-steel-ministry/
  25. I'm still on the "Unmade in a box" train. FYI (for any new people), the theory's basically that Yelig-nar (aka Blightwind) is inside the sphere, and that the voices Szeth hears are from Yelig-nar talking to him (or maybe just screaming at him for lolz or something). @CaptainRyan I'm pretty sure that the Midnight Essences are spawned by Re-Shephir (an unmade, known as the Midnight Mother). Slightly off topic, but I'm pretty sure she's the second unmade (the alien and sleek one) that Kal and Shallan see in the chasms. Since we have a broken shardblade leaking black smoke, the unmade could also be broken splinters. I'll have to think this over a bit more to make a firmer theory. I'm pretty tired right now.
