  1. Not really, there's no real indication of that. Really the only one we can narrow down is the second. By its appearance, it hints towards the second being Re-Shephir (I've posted this idea a few times, I may just make a thread on it so I can link to it in the future). Not conclusive at all, but still a decent hint.
  2. Maybe it's a Scarab? But seriously, nice find @dantlee, I agree that the location rules out chasmfiends, and I'm still not sold on thunderclasts.
  3. I'll bet 5 bucks that this is why George R.R. Martin is taking so long on Winds of Winter. He has to rewrite it to make everyone a secret Targaryen, explain why Benjen, Euron, and Daario are all the same person, and also throw in new time principles to reveal D+D=T
  4. They are most likely unmade attracted to Narak by the Parshendi adopting stormform. I'm fairly sure that the second figure is Re-Shephir. It's described as "Alien and Sleek", which is telling. From the Way of King chapter 58 epitaph: “Re-Shephir, the Midnight Mother, giving birth to abominations with her essence so dark, so terrible, so consuming. She is here! She watches me die!” So she basically is confirmed to spawn the Midnight Essences. And looking at the appearance of the Midnight Essences on Coppermind, they are described as " The Midnight Essence's skin was smooth, slick, black, and reflective.[1] It had six extremely thin legs that were bent at the sides with clawed paws. The Midnight Essence's body seemed almost fluid, with a long and flexible neck and sharp teeth that appeared like knives." Definitely seems "Alien and Sleek" to me. Kind of gives me a pseudo-xenomorph vibe.
  5. I'd put the chance of that somewhere between zero and nil. Remember that Gaz was the supervisor for Bridge 4, the deadliest bridge group in Sadeas' army, assisted sending the bridgemen to their deaths, and despised Kal for organizing them. That's literally the opposite of protecting, and completely opposite to the ideals of the windrunners. Frankly, it's evil as well. Gaz becoming a windrunner would possibly be the single worst plot choice Brandon could make.
  6. My guess is that book 4 will be Nalan (to see what he's doing there, plus book 4 is Szeth's, so that may give additional insight), and that book 5 will be Gavilar (to finally show exactly what happened).
  7. I really hate to say this, but I feel like this character has a death flag, especially after their stirring speech in Words of Radiance.
  8. I'll have to listen to this back at the dorm. But all I can say so far... Pleaseconfirmunmadeinaboxpleaseconfirmunmadeinabox
  9. If we're doing that, Barricade's gotta be a voidbringer
  10. Golden State Warriors: Tension and Transportation (go Splash from long distance) Oath 1: Standard Radiant First Oath Oath 2: I will get a 3-1 lead Oath 3: I will lose a game Oath 4: I will lose another game Oath 5: I will lose a third game and blow the 3-1 lead
  11. Lol, here's a bit of video evidence: 1-card Sophia/Tierra: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzSxTv-FVTI Triple Quasar + No Hand + Exodia (I don't like Slaydra, but this is the only place with the replay): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhmeX48qFWo
  12. Lol some of the stuff they do now is crazy. You've got crazy synchro decks that can bust out triple quasar dragons, and one scumbag variant that pulled off the most savage play in yugioh history: summon triple quasar dragon turn 1, get rid of your opponent's entire hand during their turn, then draw into exodia on your next draw. Plus you have elemental heroes aka DankLaw.dek, which can put a Traptrix Rafflesia, Dank Law, and Toadally Awesome (yes, that's the TCG name, and it steals your opponent's cards) out turn 1. Then there's Zoodiac Beasts aka Molmorat.dek which are tier 0 at this point and can pull off a 1-card Sophia or Tierra play (not the best version by any means, but that search power is ridiculous). And by 1 card, I don't mean you need that card in your hand, I mean you can start out with ONLY that card in your hand and pull the play off. And those two decks are just the meta. I haven't even gotten into the otk pwnage that cyber dragons can pull off, the new Eidolon archetype (which is just INSANE), pkfire, D/D/D's, and so on.
  13. @DarkJester Lol, I appreciate the effort, but we should talk about those effects. With how the meta's evolved, we're going to need to get some more powerful effects. Think Special Summoning conditions, extra deck, bouncing/self-bouncing, banishing, removal, effect negation, searching, etc. I'm busy for now, but we can talk later to really make Radiants Tier 0
  14. Greed betrayed Father in Fullmetal Alchemist, so it's not like personifications of emotion having deeper motivations is anything new.
  15. Lol, you're right on the money. Noble Knights for Dalinar it is! I'd imagine that Szeth would get some sort of rock deck due to Shin culture, so that would probably be Triamids for him.
  16. Except they won't, because they'll be dead
  17. Well obviously he went back to talking about them because they're such a great distraction, and super-smart Taravangian got distracted by them. You see, Odium is actually a Stoat, and his endgame is to act as weirdly as possible to distract the Knights Radiant. When Odium and Honor have their champions fight, Odium's will point somewhere random and yell "Squirrel!"
  18. I'm still going with unmade-in-a-box. I just wasn't sure if there was any new evidence pointing towards anything.
  19. I've recently gotten back into playing Yu-gi-oh after binge-watching Littlekuriboh's abridged series, and thought it would be fun to assign decks/archetypes to some of the various characters in the Stormlight Archive (I tried doing this with Game of Thrones, but freaked out after giving the White Walkers Ice Barrier decks). Except for trains. No character is worthy of having trains. Anyways, I'll start with a couple: Taravangian: After a bit of thinking, I've decided that Taravangian should play monarchs (with their new support, and the domain version). First, Taravangian is seeking to become the ruler of everything, suiting the name and playstyle (locking your opponents out of their extra deck) very well. In addition, the 2 boss monsters of the deck are Erebus and Aether, which suits Taravangian's intelligence swings really well if we subscribe to the popular "dumb Taravangian is more compassionate than smart Taravangian" theory. Also, Taravangian not using an extra deck (due to the domain lock) is important because it reflects how his small kingdom has less material resources than other kingdoms. Sadeas: This scumbag's playing nurse or chain burn, thank god he's been banished to the shadow realm But when he doesn't, he's probably using lawnmowing infernoids. This deck revolves around having 60 cards and using Lawnmowing Next Door to dumb the top of the deck into the graveyard, which compliments the infernoids very well and reflects how Sadeas was willing to sacrifice thousands of bridgemen as arrow fodder. Anyways, I'll stop at those two, I just wanted to have some laughs as we wait for Oathbringer to come out. Any other Yu-gi-oh fans out there?
  20. And if one of the unmade is a traitor, which one would it be? Since the epigraph was introduced in Words of Radiance, I'd lean towards the traitorous unmade to be one that we know about already, and probably one that has been directly mentioned outside of epigraphs, just from a storytelling perspective. Off the top of my head, that would leave Nergaoul, Moelach, Sja-Anat, and Yelig-nar as the most likely options, since we've actually seen or discussed them in some capacity in the story. Nergaoul doesn't make much sense, since he's been creating the thrill and driving the Alethi and Jah-Kavedians (I don't know what else to call them lol) to participate in destructive wars... unless he's trying to help Taravangian take over by destabilizing rival nations? That's about the only way its actions could be defined as traitorous, and it's a pretty big stretch. Moelach could be interpreted as a traitor because of the death rattles, since he's kind of giving humans information that could be valuable. However, that seems to just be an automatic process, so it can't really be considered a sign of him betraying Odium. Sja-anat's a longball. It corrupts spren, and adds more to the story as a foe at this point. Also, it worked to fight radiants in one of Dalinar's visions. We have no idea what Yelig-nar's doing, but I'd actually put him as the most likely traitor among the unmade. The same caveat that I mentioned about Sja-anat applies, as he slaughtered a bunch of Nohadon's men. However, Yelig-nar has already been mentioned as one of the only unmade who is able to speak and communicate with humans, which is a GIANT red flag among the group. Unlike the other unmade, Yelig-nar would actually be able to fully betray Odium and team up with humans. While spren could probably communicate with another traitorous unmade, it would be easier for Yelig-nar to make his intentions clear. Plus there's the possibility that he's been yapping at Szeth for a while, so that could turn into something.
  21. While (insert name of guy that Spoolofwhool mentioned) definitely has the most evidence behind him being a traitor, I'm not entirely sure if I'm on board with it because it almost seems too obvious (once you read Edgedancer). Also, having the final nail be in a Novella rather than the main series seems a bit odd to me. I'd hope that Brandon has a twist up his sleeve, but with such a huge series, there are definitely some plots that'll shake out to be more straightforward.
  22. Because he met Brandon, who spilled the beans. He already said this was completely accurate. The more important question is why you would doubt him.
